Great service. Great music. Friendly staff. Got picked up right on time and the bus was waiting for us after the show.

As someone who hits up Red Rocks 10+ times a summer, this service feels straight from the concert god herself.

We had several pieces of tech accessories to dispose of, outdated and mostly not working either. They were taking up space we needed to clear. We took them out to this facility, near several other facilities they operate. Good website with lots of directions and maps and fee scale. It was easy to find, followed directions out there and turned out to be easier than expected, early on a weekday. There is a fee for entering but only $3.00 and it is added to your bill if you have to pay any fees for what you bring in. We took several pieces for which there was a fee but it is very reasonable at $0.59 per pound and they do not weigh any of the accessory cables. Our pile of an old printer, a flat bed scanner and a wireless router came to only 24 pounds. We will be back another time with a few things that need their hard drives erased beforehand and I believe most of these devices are free to recycle. I will also use the Hazardous Household Recycle location again which I have used more frequently in the past for old paints and yard and household chemicals that are outdated, etc. That location is a block north of this one. It's nice to have a local community facility that will responsibly dispose of these objects. They also provide an option for bulk items, like cardboard, block rigid foam, scrap metal etc. A lot of those are free also. I suspect they are pretty busy on Saturdays and they are not open on Sundays. Better than sending this stuff to a landfill and will accommodate things than cannot go out in curbside residential recycling. We have done the curbside for decades, as long as it has existed in Boulder.

I'm a huge fan of Eco-Cycle and all they do to support our beautiful community. From recycling and…read morecomposting to presence at local events they always have their best foot forward. I've actually had the pleasure to be on the "green team" at Hanuman Yoga Festival for a couple of years as a volunteer. They educated us in a helpful and encouraging way so we could assist event attendees in properly compost, recycle, and discard with care. Contained within it's substantial walls is CHaRM (Center for Hard-to -recycle materials). Here you can properly hand off anything from a fax machine, to paint, to a yoga mat! The cost is often determined by weight so you can feel good letting go of those challenging items without breaking the bank or feeling bad putting it in the regular garbage. Every interaction I have had at their facility or volunteering under their guidance has been a pleasure. I look forward to doing some spring cleaning and visiting Eco-Cycle with items that aren't quite fit for donation.

I have a well‑kept, fenced‑in backyard that borders open space. I filled out their form and waited for a response, but none came. Three weeks into the process, I reached out for an update--any update--and still received nothing. They have been extremely unprofessional. The term "ghosting" is fairly new to me, but I would say these people are being childish and petty. Support another agency--one that cares as much about the customer as they do about the rescued pup. Thanks for listening.

Stay far, FAR away from this place!! Inexperienced,…read moreuneducated, and rude people are all you will find. They care more about making money than finding the best fit for their dogs, and their attitude towards potential adopters makes that abundantly clear. Not to mention $300-800 for a RESCUE dog is absolutely absurd even with vetting. Claiming to pull dogs from high kill shelters all over the country when they're only truly pulling cutesy small dogs they can make a pretty penny off of. Having worked at an animal shelter for years I have a pretty good grasp on how they should function, and it is pretty much the exact opposite of what BDDR has shown me. Meet and greets at the foster dog's home instead of neutral ground without any Brighter Days personnel even actively present is enough for one to turn and run. Then stating that a "successful meet and greet" simply means the two dogs didn't fight? Yikes. Sad standards. The two dogs didn't fight so it's okay even though the potential adoptee was showing clear signs of unease and aggression throughout the entire meet and greet? So both dogs long term comfort and wellbeing and the adopters peace of mind is completely irrelevant? Why are we letting people that can't even read basic dog body language foster these animals and make adoption decisions? The goal of any true, legitimate animal rescue should be to find best fit for that specific animal. Not to quickly pass them in to the first home that comes along so you can make your $800 and then get upset when adopters change their mind in the BEST INTEREST OF THAT ANIMAL. Holding a change of heart against potential adopters and then refusing to let them even look at any of your other dogs is a childish and unprofessional move. And the only ones that suffer from it are the poor animals in your care. Put your petty, personal feelings aside and do better. Do better for the animals.
