    USA themed pedal pub

I've done two rides with the Denver Patio Ride and had a blast at each! I choose DPR over other companies because their prices are the best - I've found a promo code that saves me $20 making a 2-hr ride $300. Their drivers are super fun and very laid back. I've done pedal pubs in other cities and they are really strict about rules and waivers and everything in between. The DPR has rules and makes you sign a waiver but are really laid back and super fun. You can bring your own music, snacks, and drinks. The driver lets you pick the bars you stop at - typically three, and has great suggestions for stops. Each time I've gone, my group has chosen a theme and dressed up, which makes it tons of fun!

Definitely book with this company! Super easy to book online, found a Groupon to help with the cost, and customer service answered my questions right away. Our driver was Leah and she was awesome! We're a rowdy group and she made he whole experience super fun and took us on a custom route to our favorite bars. Would totally do this again!

So much fun! Tour guides were great! I was lucky and snagged a pedal free seat for most of the ride. Great selection of bars on our tour!

Absolutely the most disturbing and unprofessional experience I have ever had with a business…read more On August 16, 2025, my friends and I rented a bike from Pedal Hopper Denver for my husband's birthday. What should have been a fun evening turned into a frightening and unacceptable ordeal because of our assigned driver/guide, Curtis. Despite Pedal Hopper's written policy stating that alcohol is not permitted, Curtis texted me prior to the ride with ways to sneak alcohol on board, and even stopped at a liquor store at the start of the tour to encourage purchases. This disregard for company rules created a dangerous environment from the start. The situation escalated when Curtis verbally berated my husband in front of law enforcement, using profanity and shouting at us. By the end of the ride, Curtis became aggressive, stopping the tour and kicking us off. In the heated exchange that followed, he attempted to strike my husband and instead hit me on the arm. This constitutes physical assault. Afterward, Curtis sent me a string of harassing text messages, which included personal insults and discriminatory remarks. I had to block him because the messages would not stop. I documented all of this with photos and screenshots, which I still have. I reported this incident directly to Pedal Hopper Denver management immediately after, requesting a refund and disciplinary action. To date, I have received no response from the company. No customer should ever be physically assaulted, harassed, or put in danger by an employee of a business. This experience was not just unprofessional--it was deeply disturbing and unsafe. I am pursuing further action outside of this review, but I feel strongly that others should be aware before booking.

SUPER fun activity with friends - we went on one for a friend group birthday celebration and we had a blast and a half. I was yelling and high-fiving strangers and singing along to rock ballads with the best of them. Would HIGHLY recommend this to let out your inner basic ho self. The driver was chill and it's fun that you can control the music and how often you stop, so our group ended up staying on the bike most of the time because of how fun it was. Definitely do this!!!

To redeem the groupon you will have to email them from the website, and do a little back and forth on date/time selection. They can be a bit slow to respond but its not bad. Just make sure to plan in advance! Day of you meet them at Blake st Tavern. The downstairs area has a nice gameroom and specials to get the party started. From there you bike to three bars (of your choice) and you get about 20-30min at each bar. I am sure you have seen these cruising around and the tons of fun people are having on them...it really is that fun!! They also have ipod/aux hookups for the sound system so you can play whatever you want. At the end you come back to Blake st Tavern (for a total of 5 bar stops) and then get a nice group photo...They dont allow booze one the bike bar, but you can bring Nalgenes so wink wink! Dont forget to tip the driver too..they always do an awesome job.

My CrossFit crew decided to rent one yesterday to celebrate the upcoming nuptials of two of our members. They have you gather in the lower level of Blake Street Tavern where they have $3.00 drink specials for Bud/Coors. I opted for a craft beer instead and paid full price. Our driver came down to get us all loaded on the patio with our cooler full of beer and helped stow away our purses and what not. That's when things started cranking. The beer was flowing into our solo cups and the music from one of our iPods was blaring through the speakers. Time to get this party started!! There are 11 seats to pedal, 5 lounger seats to relax and we even managed to get 3 people in the middle to have a quasi dance party. Definitely get ready to work as that ride is not going to get up those hills on it's own. Even with all the pedaling, we hardly noticed we were breaking a sweat due to the sheer entertainment factor. We only ended up making it to two breweries (Epic & Black Shirt), but we enjoyed every second of it. We even got our driver to shake his groove thang and we all played Chinese fire drills at red lights. I would highly recommend checking it out! I can't wait to do it again soon!!!

He made a comment about how he had to stop and buy a bag of ice to cool his phone off? We recorded our conversation that ran in circles for 10+ minutes. We asked if he was drunk (which he didn't deny) because he would not give us a straight response. "You keep calling me, what are you looking to accomplish?? What do you want me to do?" We continued to tell him we'd like an update on the refund because his driver was the one that cancelled and this service is unacceptable. He hung up. Absolutely horrid experience.

However there were some pretty severe technical issues with the bike itself: the gearing was WAY off leading to some people having all the resistance and others barely being able to do anything. This meant we barely moved faster than a brisk walking pace (our friend actually managed to keep up with us during a phone call walking along the sidewalk!). This also fed into a secondary issue where the board above near your knees was a bit too close and, especially with little resistance, it was all to easy to smack into it hurting yourself. Lastly adjusting the seats was a bit difficult. For the amount of money I expected a bit more direction and time but you can only drink so fast. The tours listing 3-4 stops on their site seem ambitious even with a faster vehicle. In two hours we managed to hit two breweries. While we had a good time and the bike made for a fun team experience we could've just as easily have walked the whole thing. I'd home in the future they can make the experience a bit more worth the cost. We saw many of these types of tours in the RINO district where the breweries are closer together and the roads less intimidating/car-filled so that might be a better area for this.
