In December I had an issue with my copier, I called Centric to come out and give me an estimate of what it would cost to fix it. A guy came out and told me what I needed and proceeded to give me an estimate of around $800. I asked if that included todays trip, and he said yes. So I gave him permission to order the parts that was needed and then set a date for the repairs. 2 days later I received a bill in the mail for $224.00 for the diagnostic, labor and trip fee. I called the office and asked about this charge and told them that I was told that his was included in the total amount of the quote of about $800. I was told I was correct. I talked to Jennifer. 2 weeks later the parts came in and the repair man came and fixed the machine. A few days later I received the final bill of $863.18 what I promptly paid. Yesterday I received a Past Due notice in the mail as well as email stating that I never paid the original $224. I explained what had transpired and I was transferred back to Jennifer who stated that she never talked to me or stated that the 1st bill was included in the final bill. I could not get threw to her as she was always tying to over talk me or yelling over me. This company is all about Bait and Switch, If I was told that there were 2 bill and i had to pay for the trip, labor and diagnostic ( which is usually free if the company does the repairs.) BECAREFUL if you want to use this company. Make sure you have EVERYTHING in writing. As for me I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

After I sent an email to a person who wanted to fix the problem, the problem was fixed. I am still with Centric and have a fixed monthly amount I am paying. There were some shabby customer service initially, but management made it right and I appreciate it! read more

Rude & Inattentive Company. They could care less about helping their customers out. They are only in this business to make money.. which they make plenty based on the price I pay for my machine. They cant keep the bills organized, i am constantly being billed and charged for other printers in my office and within our multi-city organization. No one is ever available to help, (except the one guy in the service department is who very reliable and always nice when he comes to fix my machine) No one answers or responds to emails within a reasonable time. It is always well over a week, sometimes two, before i get a reply, and I usually have to reengage with them as a reminder. President of the company acts in the same manner as the rest of the company, i can see where they get their values from. I work in a customer service role at my job and i would never put a customer through such disappointing treatment. I am not the only person in my office who feels this way either. centric business systems is a horrible company. They scam customers and actually have a cause in their contract that they will raise your rate every 12 months. Be sure to read all of the fine print and make sure you get everything in writing. They cant keep a rep. I have had 7 reps in 3 years. After paying over $33000 over a 6 year lease for a $1000 machine; Centric would not let me out of the lease because I did not inform them "In writing" in time. I did however tell the sales rep face to face while he was in my office. They claimed that conversation never took place. I now have to pay $250/mo for 26 months for a $300 machine.
