Living in TX, it is hard to find which company you should call since they is so much competition. So I went on the reviews and liked what I was reading about Central Texas Shredding. I believe it was Phillip who showed up , introduced himself with a smile and explained the process- He helped us go through bags and Boxes and so quick at it. He even showed us on a monitor as it took our important documents to the last page. We were so impressed with their services we received. I was in the process of cleaning out a deceased, very dear friend's house he had worked from home and had a ton of work files so I knew I needed to preserve his privacy, and the security of his customer's info as well I called/researched shredding services. There were 2 options for my situation- haul it somewhere or use a mobile service. With all the other physical labor tasks I was doing I had reached my threshold & thought it was well worth it to use the mobile service. I checked out their reviews on yelp and messaged them, received an almost immediate response & set the whole thing up via text. They came during my timeframe. The driver was professional and courteous & took everything I had spent time collecting and had placed in brown paper bags. I cannot say enough good things about these guys. I put in a Yelp message request on a Saturday and Tim got back to me in less than 30 minutes. Less than an hour later we were booked for Tuesday. He gave me a time window of 9am-12pm of when they would be there. I emphasized the importance of needing to be free by 12:30pm and Tim assured me it would be zero problem. Well by 9:20 they were there ready to go and by about 10:00am they were already gone and we were 50 boxes lighter. I mean the communication Tim had with me was just exceptional. I wish more people were as communicative as he was. All the other companies I reached out to waited until Monday to get back to me. We went with the first we heard from and we're so happy that was Tim. I will recommend them to anyone and everyone I know and we will continue to use them for the foreseeable future. The price was super economical. It's easy to feel taken advantage of through some of these businesses and that just wasn't the case with these guys. Please use them for all of your shredding needs! If you need a shredding service that is reliable and trustworthy and just amazing, you can absolutely depend on Central Texas Shredding and you don't need to look any further. Tim, who is the owner, will not disappoint. He is absolutely one of the most responsbile people I've ever dealt with in any service or business. He does an amazing job of providing excellent service starting with arriving early for the appointment. I was very impressed with the equipment, which is a sparkling, clean truck with the ability to perform the shredding right on site. This is important because the equipment is reflective of the business. I watched the shredding on a screen as all of my papers were securely destroyed. What a sense of relief knowing that my personal and confidential information is forever gone. But my satisfaction goes beyond the job itself. It's about Tim the businessman, an honest, responsible and kind person. To make a long story short, I was in an emergency situation and I desparately needed to hire a shredding service that would be able to do the job the very next day, less than 24 hours from the time I first messaged. I was contacted within the hour of the message. To tell the truth, I really didn't expect to be able to find anyone on such short notice. Not only all that, but after Tim had driven away, I realized there were several more boxes of paper that I overlooked upstairs in my apartment and I frantically called Tim! I thought the best I would be able to do would be to make another appointment for another day. But Tim came through. He actually turned around and came back to shred the rest of the papers. Great, fast shredding at an fair price. The whole thing went so smoothly, from making the appointment to getting the certificate of destruction in my email. They came to my house and shredded all the work documents filling my filing cabinet. The charge is per bin (think recycle bin size) and it so very cost effective. I'll be using them from now on.
