Broken washers, no full cycle for wash. Therefore it's still suds. Owner will not replace wash or give refund

My husband and I recently had an unfortunate experience at this laundromat. Yesterday evening as at 5pm we put our stuff in the wash, after 30 mins we put our stuff in the dryer to only to be informed immediately after by the store owner that the place was closing because only us and one other customer were the only ones in the facility. It was 5:30pm and wasn't suppose to close until 9pm. My husband said if he refunds him the money he'll take the laundry out, the man told him "that's not how it works" and that he's the owner so if he wants to tell them to leave, he can. The lack of proper communication about the change in operating hours was frustrating, rude and not handled properly whatsoever. What made the situation worse was the unhelpful responses from the store owner. Despite the inconvenience caused by their abrupt closure, he refused to refund our money and It's disappointing when businesses prioritize their convenience over customer satisfaction. Our mannerisms were kind to only receive a very negative attitude. I hope the management takes steps to improve communication and customer service in the future. This experience left us with a negative impression, and we would caution others to be aware of potential operational changes when considering this laundromat. PS. He turns off the coin machine and wants to see your laundry to make sure you're using it at his store before giving you change for the machines. He also turned off the power the moment that our dryer had 1min left. read more

Machines are outdated, owner has a habit of becoming aggressive when using his coin machine and not washing there (despite him still getting money from it) and is seemingly absent from the place. and he's seemed to have kept the coin machine broken in order to ensure that we would wash at his laundromat, We only came here because our current one was broken but I can assure them that we won't be coming back. read more

Owner is very rude and yells. I needed quarters and he tells me to go to the bank. Outdated machines and dirty

As soon as we got there it seemed fine but when we were in the middle of drying our clothes, this old man approached us and told us that the dryers needed to be on high temperature in a very rude way. He called my mother names such as stupid and dumb. He also said he was closing and started shutting of the lights and was literally rushing us and kicking us out. He told us to fold our clothes at home because he wasn't getting paid for "waiting for us". Not to mention, our clothes got damaged by what seems to be oil.This man followed us outside and laughed when we told him, we would put this on social media. It gets the job done. Clean. Machines work. Minimal traffic. No complaints here. Will visit once again.

I wish I could give this place no stars. Outdated machines, machines eat your money and the old man gives you a hard time to give you the money back. Seriously the worst. I only came here because it's conveniently close to my home but I'll drive a little further to go somewhere else. I wasn't able to use my washers at home so I decided to come to Central Suds! This place has been around probably as long as I have been alive and I see why! Only complaint is that it's slightly more expensive than most, However, EXCELLENT customer service. I was a few quarters short and the owner gave me a free wash! Definitely recommend if you live in the area! read more

If I could give this place no stars, I would. I walked in to get my quarters before i started my laundry and was greeted by a very rude older gentleman with a heavy accent. I was told that this was not a bank or currency exchange. At first I didn't understand what they were trying to tell me. I told them that I need quarters to use the machines and they told me to go to the bank across the street and not to use their quarter machines if I wasn't washing. The man was extremely rude until he saw the baskets of laundry I had sitting in the car. At this point no matter what apology he attempted to get together, I was taking my business somewhere else. read more

Most horrible experience ever!!! Put money into two washers ($7.00) and clothes started to spin and but stayed dried and my soap was still in tray. Called the customer service number that was on the wall ( which stated to call and ask for John if you had any problems. John picked up and told him what was going on and I started to get cussed at and disrespected immediately. No restrooms either !!! Just horrific!!!!!!! read more

This is the cleanest laundromat I have ever been in! It was always clean when it opened over 20 years ago and I was pleasantly surprised to discover it was very clean today when I had to utilize their facilities. The washing machines are fairly new and there was an attendant on duty keeping everything tidy and orderly. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering two other laundromats I visited recently were more expensive and were dumps. read more

This place is pretty peaceful and quiet, almost as if I can use this place to meditate. Average washing prices on machines. 25¢ dryers. It's a bit lonely and eerie but that's a plus. No kids leaving sticky fingerprints or Cheetos hand prints. I'll be back here again. read more

I had to leave the laundromat to use the restrooms since there's were closed while my 8 dryers were running when i returned dryers were still running but the doors were closed lights off at 8:41. I went into this laundromat because it was ALMOST the last resort. As soon as I got in, a woman said "I hope you have change." And I looked at her confused. She continued, "the machines not working and everything is locked up." I felt that was no way to approach a customer. Never going back because it smelled anyways. read more

I don't understand why this place has 3 stars. Sure ... the old guy that owns the place keeps it semi clean however the issue is the quality of the washers and dryers. Everything in this place is outdated and needs to be replaced. The dryers cost 25 cents for 10 mins. That would be amazing if it didn't take about 50 minutes to get things dry. I do not overload the dryers. One time I put one shirt in and after it finished it still was not dry. Tonight I spent $38 washing and drying only for the dryers to no function properly. When I called the emergency number the old guy owner tells me to press the buttons harder and it'll work. Apparently he thought I was an idiot because clearly I tried that and other methods before calling him. I had to lug 4 bags of wet/ super damp clothes back into my car because he wouldn't come to assist me. He doesn't repair anything... it's a money maker for him because of course you'll keep shoving quarters into the slots until your clothes are dry. I will NEVER wash here again. Though it's convenient to have one in the area ... it's not worth wasting your hard earned money and time at this place. Beware if you choose to wash here. Worst laundromat ever don't waste your money here!!! Washers are the worst, dryer didn't even dry clothes. Owner claimed it closed at 5pm on a Sunday sign said 10pm, while drying came in shutting off lights while there. Very rude man! Would never go back!!! read more

This is my go to laundry mat in my area. Asides the convenience, the facility is clean and prices are fair. The hours are definitely an advantage and I can get in and get out. The washers and dryers are efficient. The only issue is sometimes the machines are not functioning. But the owners are quick about fixing them and refunding money as well. read more

My husband and I just moved into the neighborhood, and I need to wash my clothes, I leave my clothes in the car before bring them in with me. I get quarters first and to see if the laundromat is full or not. Can't even do that, this old man LITERALLY ran to turn off the quarter machine after I just put in my money, literally had me waiting for 3 mins for my quarters to come out and then had to nerve to ask me what am I waiting for, told him I put my money in the machine and no quarters are coming out. He asked me if I was washing here and I told him it doesn't matter if I'm washing here or not. Then as his giving me back my money he had to nerve to tell me next time I will not be getting my money back. And I told him to not worry because I will be taking my business elsewhere. Like I said this isn't the first time he has done this to me. He isn't been in business and I will be happy and glad when this establishment is shut up down! read more

I hate the laundromats around my house, so I decided to travel to wash. This place was located within a strip mall and can be easily mistaken for a nursery school with the colorful drawings in the window. There washing machines seemed to be a bit overpriced and the dryers cost a quarter for 10 mins. There was no AC and I was sweating bullets while folding my clothes. There isn't an attendant on duty, rather Big Brother hangs from a wall in a corner and shows your every move on a screen. There was plenty of parking in the lot. I didn't have to wait on any machines, but the cost of my experience was a wash-out. read more

To the manager that works here, believe an older polish man: please leave your horrible life at the door when you come to work. If you want constant customers it is best you learn standard customer service skills esp when your job requires it. This owner, I have witnessed on several occasions will stare down customers, become irate at the smallest of things, and belittle his patrons. It is not only foolish and unnecessary to fly into a frenzy Mr. Shop Owner, but also degrading to your character and lessens the money in your pocket when customers such as myself see you shamelessly accosting and belittling a customer for having on accident put a blanket in a wrong washer, or screaming across the room that your customer needs to put his laundry basket under table and never to the side of it! And when these customers leave from such a diabolical confrontation you turn to your other guests who wait patiently for their load to dry and being the perfect host you are exclaim how the people who help you stay in business, the people who you so boldly confront like a jackass are the bums! Did you expect me to laugh Mr. owner? No, I'm no sheep and such stupid behavior doesn't merit any type of respect or business ever again from me. It is so easy to get angry, anyone can do it even a baby, but to have composure and patience when dealing with a customer or an unsettling situation is ultimately the real task not many can do. This is a very nice laundry mat being that it is mostly clean, and spacious but I will not any longer support such a place based on these experiences, and I encourage others to do the same should they themselves be treated so poorly or even witness such deplorable disgusting behavior from this man. read more

What a horrible laundry day worse than usual...... first laundromat the lady started yelling at me to get out !... see my other review. I get to this laundromat and the machines are tiny I had to pay $5.00 for a triple load machine that was only as big as every other laundromat I've ever been too's single load so $10 for 1.5 loads of laundry then the first dryer I tried to use just took my dollar wouldn't start wouldn't give me my change back. The two dryers I was able to get to start are not blowing warm air so I'm not done yet but I estimate another $10 just to dry 1.5 loads!!!!!!!! Ridiculous. I forgot to mention at the beginning that I paid extra for the hot water wash and there was no hot water it was all cold. Worst laundry day ever. Only reason they got 2 stars is because no one was yelling at me at this one. But that's probably because there is no attendant on duty and nobody answers the help line. I want a do over! read more

Pleasantly surprised, laundromat was clean, reasonably priced, machines were maintained with many new ones, dryers allow 10 mins for a quarter (unlike most that only give you 8 mins) AND clothes were actually DRY with only 2 quarters! I will be returning :) read more

I've never really had a bad experience at a laundromat until I came to this place... apparently I used the wrong washer to clean me small couch blankets... so this cranky old polish guy (who I think may be the owner) says to me, as I unload the washer to transfer my blankets to the dryer, "the sign says 'do not wash blankets in top load washers'" after I apologize and explain to him that I didn't see the signs with it being my first time he continued to speak over me and laugh at me for not knowing what he knew. I'm not the only one he yells at mind you.. there was a foreign couple who probably didn't speak/read English very well. They used too much detergent so the machine they used overflowed with bubbles, he made a fool of them by yelling and laughing at them in front of everyone. If you don't want to run into a bitter old man who is mad at the world bc his "American Dream" didn't come true and he got stuck supervising laundry machines.. then don't come here. Change machine malfunction and Mom got gypped $3. She called and got a horribly rude owner who said 'you're calling me for $3?? how do I know you're not lying?". My mom is a senior citizen and this is the first time she's been treated so rudely. She was in tears. The owner is horrible. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I wash my laundry there EVERY SUNDAY, and today I went in to use the change machine to qet quarters to give out to trick or treaters and the owner verbally harasses me. He yells "are you kidding? you come in here just for quarters?" I told him I am in there every week but will no longer be doing my laundry there. What a jerk!!!! Great, clean place. It's nice to be able to get all my laundry done in an hour. The new machines are great!
