So once he is good and dirty and shedding another dog, I bring him in and we end up with a new dog!! Kidding aside we have tried other places and we can not beat how he is treated. He knows where he is going when he gets out of the car. His coat stays shiny for about 3 weeks after he is groomed and when it gets wet it doesn't have that musty smell. And the price is right. Thank you Maddie!!!

I asked to speak to a manager, none on duty. 1 Wüf Pet Spa OTR (Owner) 2 days ago Hi June, you are not a client in our database. I understand your son is upset about missing his appointment but it isn't appropriate to spam our business page with reviews. Apparently , you are not aware that it was my dog he was bringing in , not his. It was a new , first time appointment . That he had already sent the veterinary information in. He let you know that he had a work emergency and I would be coming from an hour and a half away to make this appointment. I encountered road construction that caused a delay . I had my grandchildren on a spring break outing that we left to make this appointment . The appointment was at 12 noon. I called at 11:55am to let you all know I was getting close. I was informed by your staff that the groomer was gone. My son was told that I had until 12:15pm. to make this appointment. He didn't think I would get there until 12:30. You. made no adjustments, after him being a loyal customer . Our appointment window was 12-3pm. A place with good customer service would have done some type of service in that window, even if you charged for the full service. A wash , nail trim maybe. Instead you chose to put him down as a no show , charging the full price. Does that seem right ? I normally don't do reviews. That's why it took me so long to respond. You have lost two good customers, with two sweet dogs just because you don't know what CUSTOMER SERVICE, means.

My dog is affraid of everything, and when I leave her she normally is super nervous and thats everywhere we go not just the groomers but when I pick her up she looks relax and happy plus they always put her a cute bow according to the season. Place is clean and staff is organized. They have options for grooming your dog like a full cut or a FFF which is a face feet and fanny which is great. The staff is kind and friendly, prices are reasonable, and at this time I cant complain about anything.

We moved to Union, KY 3 years ago with our 3 dogs and are beyond thankful we found Kae-9 by Design…read more Our dogs are our family and finding a groomer you trust is extremely important. Let's add finding one that understands your dog breed and unique personalities and loves them as much as we do. From day one, we have been so thankful for Deanna. She always does an amazing job and my doggies come home happy and looking adorable. She shares tips to help us care for our Golden doodle to ensure she does not matt in between appointments. Plus she understands when she comes in a mess from playing in the pool with the boys. She is so good and patient to our grumpy older dog. It is a great feeling to know they are safe and well cared for. When I post photos after their spa day my friends all say they want to be our dogs. We are thankful for Deanna and how well she takes care of our fur babies!! I just love them and could go on and on!

Their patience and perseverance led to a bond that we were surprised happened. She started in gen-pop (it's not a prison) but had some issues. Instead of turning her away, she spent some time with Donna, their behavior specialist, and now she's back in gen-pop without issue. We would recommend Dogtown to anyone. Hell, they even have a water park for dogs on their lower level.

I've been a grooming customer of Strasse Dog for years. When I adopted him, Pierre was VERY anxious…read moreabout haircuts from the vet/groomer near my house (and new people in general), and multiple friends recommended SD. I stopped by without my dog just to talk with Shirley about the situation, and she willingly offered to have me bring him in a couple of times just to meet her and become familiar before even scheduling a grooming appointment. We did this twice, and it made ALL the difference. She also recommended a great harness for him when I wanted to switch out of a collar. It's the only place I've taken him since. For the past couple of years, I've been feeding Pierre from PetWants, a mixture of the chicken, lamb, and salmon recipes. He liked it better than the typical store-bought kinds, but I brought home a small amount of each of the 4 main Barketplace recipes tonight after talking with Shirley and Jeff about it, and he not only ate the first serving in a matter of minutes, but wanted more even AFTER his teeth cleaning "dessert" treat. That has NEVER happened. And then the second serving was gone just as quickly as the first. Shirley, Jeff, and Chris are simply the best - they take care of my little guy as if her were their own, and this new food experience means it's the only place I'll go for ALL the things he needs from now on!

I am horrified the way my Australian Shepherd turned out. This was our first, last, and only time…read morewe will patronize this groomer. Aussies are double coated and should never be shaved because it ruins their guard hairs and they are unable to regulate the body temperature without it. They asked if I wanted a WINTER CUT and I said yes. Unbeknownst to me, cut meant shave and my dog is now naked the day before a massive snowstorm. I am furious but there's nothing I can do. The lady told me that I never said not to shave her, but I assumed (yes, I know what that means) that every reputable groomer should know not to shave a double coated dog. At the very least they should ask if I wanted her shaved. They also told me it would be around $40, but I was charged $55. From now on, I will drive 25 minutes to my previous groomer who knew better. Grrrrr FYI, I have since discovered that my dog now has post-shave alopecia (yes it's a real thing.) Her bare spots remain bare. Short of putting her on canine alopecia meds. There's nothing I can do!

(If you think I'm exaggerating, please come to my home and bathe my 80lb Old English Sheepdog in my bathtub...and then try to stand up straight!) For $15 you get the elevated tub/sprayer for as long as you need, an ample supply of shampoo and conditioner, a rubber apron, and use of a super-sonic blow dryer. BEST DEAL EVER. When said Sheepdog needs more skilled care, Petey's offers an array of professional and caring grooming services. For $110 they sheer her like the oversized lamb that she is; if you wince at this price, please consider that at end of a long winter, the shag to cost ratio lands squarely in my favor. Caveat: Call well in advance to book grooming services, e.g., book at Halloween for a clean, Christmas canine. The shop also has a well curated selection of pet supplies--food, treats, collars, leashes, etc. The staff are unfailingly pleasant and patient with my shaggy and somewhat ill-behaved beast.
