I got completely taken advantage by this company and their response to me was sucks. Even after I got home, they told me I could put all my stuff into a different storage unit to save money for the last two months I was going to be there but they would were going to keep my original storage unit 100 dollars more. Due to what this company did while I was overseas and how they treated me when I got back, I will never use a right space storage again owned by this company. I'm out thousands and their response to me is, well you could someone move all your stuff into another storage unit to make it cheaper while I'm overseas... outrageous... this company will not treat you as a human and will take every dollar they can from you.... Even leaving early, they will not give you your remaining of the month back... I will never use them again which is a shame, I did two other deployments and the last company completely took care of me. If your a service member, don't use this storage. When bringing up all of these issues to their management, they told me... sucks basically... don't let that happen to you!!! Very Respectfully, Timothy Gordon

While there weren't too many glaring issues during the lease period (aside from the unbearably thin…read morewalls and the herd of elephants who apparently lived upstairs), things with the leasing office seemed fishy right from the get-go. The woman in the Bellamy Knox leasing office, Amanda, purposely did not disclose necessary financial information for move-in so that the up-front cost of the apartment was a total surprise. This is only one small example of the underhanded attitude and lack of organization and communication at the Bellamy Knox offices. Amanda then deliberately miscommunicated regarding move-out procedure so she could keep the security deposit, even though we left the place spotless. Ultimately, I would suggest you stay as far away from any Bellamy Knox properties and businesses as possible. These people will take you for everything you've got. Also, Amanda will schedule a meeting with you and completely forget about it/your name. I second the opinion of the other reviewer here. She is incredibly rude, disrespectful of people and their time, unprofessional, and a thief. As a salesperson, I am appalled that a being such as this would be allowed to represent any business in any capacity...let alone sales. Yikes.

We rented an apartment temporarily this past fall, and while our landlord was great (we didn't rent…read morethrough Bellamy Knox), the actual building and management were lacking. When we moved in, the elevators were not working, there were multiple holes in the hallway walls, and it appeared as if they had started renovating the building and stopped in the middle of it. None of these issues were fixed by the time we moved out at the end of October, and it didn't seem like they were making any moves to finish anything, other than paving the parking lots. The apartment served it's purpose as somewhere to live while we were waiting to close on our house, but if we had actually signed a lease with Bellamy Knox we would have been severely dissapointed. Minus 2 stars because the lady in the leasing office is unnecessarily rude and unfriendly.

If you're homeless and want to rent a storage from Extra Space Storage and Dover on 6th Street…read moredon't bother! If you're homeless they will not help you or they'll let you move in of course they'll take your money and rent you a spot a space but the moment you're there for over more time than they would like you to over there when they think you're doing something when you're not or you're chilly first thing in the morning when you get here to go through your things to add more to it they assume that you're squatting when you're not because you're homeless and then they tell you to move out and take your money anyways so I suggest to everybody don't bother renting from them if you have any time a homeless issues because they will without a doubt pick on you till you leave the leaves or they kick you out ! Just because you come there to go through a few things and you take a chair out of your storage unit to sit for a few minutes to rest with your door half shut doesn't mean that you're squatting you should maybe take a minute and be compassionate and ask the person what they're doing instead of right off flipping out and assuming that they're up to no good or living in it ! It's sad that they don't take time for people that are homeless it's people like that in the world that make the homeless hard to be accepted in the world or helped in any way they give us a bad name for that very reason you no wonder why there's so many homeless in Dover cuz none of you give a crap or want to even take a second to be compassionate or understanding or any way give a helping hand I just hope everybody that works at Extra Space Storage on 6th Street puts their head down at night safely knowing that once again they have just unhelped somebody else and made them lose everything they own I hope you sleep good at night knowing you've done that and I don't care if my name is on this or what have you but they deserve every word I said only the good Lord judges you and you will be judged God bless everybody but six Street .
