When I showed up at the property I am managing where the MI- BOX had been delivered, I arrived to an angry neighbor who threatened to have the box towed due to an ocean view easement I was unaware of. The driver was also aware of the angry neighbor because he too had received a call from said neighbor. After some smoozing with the neighbor, the driver turned around, came back to the property and moved the box to appease the angry neighbor. Hands down the best and courteous customer service! One downside is that it's not well-lit, so it's hard to get things from the units at night. Also, the receptionist I always saw didn't seem happy to be there. She seemed pretty nice but it would have been a little better if she seemed happier with her job. There were also some minor problems, but they were able to fix them. The unit I was given had a broken latch; the lock would be on securely and the door would still open because the latch wasn't sturdy. They were able to move me to another unit though. I also gave them the required 5 days notice upon leaving before the next month rent was due, and a week later I got a notice saying my rental payment was late. But after calling them, they explained that their system was just slow and that I was all set.

If they just called me and said they couldn't move me to Saturday, then I would have at least known they still were going to show up. I was posting all over fb for help, couldn't get a Uhaul until mid Saturday afternoon, it was just horrible. These people were just so nice I never thought I would have been leaving a bad review on them. in the end; I got a call at 2pm from the husband (Dan) I let him know how horrible this was to do to someone. i was in such a bind, I still had them come. I give stars to the guys that moved me but 1 star for what this couple did to me. The emotional stress they caused me will never be forgotten. To note: they did charge me more than my estimate and had the moving guys charge me, again they did not answer my call when I tried to call. i just paid it! This was a non-issue until my husband (who is a first responder) got ordered into work on Monday with 48 hours notice due to low manpower. For anyone who knows anything about police-work, knows that order-ins are non-negotiable. Since my husband got notified of his order-in after Taylor Rental had closed for the weekend, I wasn't able to call them until first thing Monday morning to explain the situation that we were in. I was home alone with a 1-year-old that day, with no truck or trailer to get the tables and chairs back by myself. I explained this to the management and said that my husband could bring them back first thing Tuesday morning. Instead of being understanding, they chose to charge us $54 (half of the total rental price) for bringing the items back just 12 hours late, due to circumstances completely out of our control. If it had been a weekend day, I'd be more understating as a customer, but it was a Tuesday. They did not need those items. This was just a quick & easy way for them to make $50. They said this is "policy". I work in government contracting, and there is always an exception to any policy- It's called humanity and Taylor Rental does not have any. As a loyal customer for 2 years, I won't be going back. There are so many rental options out there nowadays- Save your money and go somewhere with better and nicer management.
