After reading the stories on yelp about the wait time I brought a book, podcast, and other activities to keep me entertained. Make sure you've had a large meal. Yes, the wait time is long don't start drinking water until you arrive at the building. Pick the most comfortable spot for yourself and try to relax. The staff is overall friendly. Can they use a bit more structure? of course. Come with an open mind about wait time and you won't get too frustrated ( I think). I was sent by work after work comp accident: waited an hour, asked for AC as the lobby was hot (while where staff is its very cool), cockroaches all on the floor. Once called back I needed a shot of a pain killer did hear doctor ask for it ASAP for me, did not come ASAP. But that was the last good care quality. I advocated my neck hurt, and that it was removed from documentation, doctor went off on me in front of his shocked staff saying I cant be telling them how to do their job. I waited for us to go back to the room, let him talk and then said im not trying to tell you how to do your job just making sure the insurance and my work know im hurting there, he started telling me I dont know enough about their side of work comp. He suggested I take creatine, to which I said I cant (done research) and I know it affects my already susceptible kidneys, he said "you heard it somewhere and again you think you know all this, but its your choice, intact see here I said its optional, so its your choice" pointing to a piece of paper I had not been handed so no I didnt see optional and 2. Yes I replied: yes to being told it is ultimately my choice. He repeated all this twice to then me getting up and saying ok doctor thats all I needed was a little time for that explanation of the insurance having that diagnosis. He had to once again repeat the whole thing about creatine... to which I said again "yes" as in it is ultimately my option. I had a very disappointing experience at Central Occupational. When I arrived, the front desk staff didn't even acknowledge me--they were too busy chatting among themselves to offer any basic customer service. I showed up at 5:48 PM for a physical, only to be told a few minutes later that they wouldn't take me, even though customer service had assured me that arriving before 6 PM would be fine. If you're planning to get a physical here, don't bother showing up within 10 minutes of closing--they won't take you, regardless of what their customer service tells you. Walk in only. No computer downtime procedures in place, so the waiting room just stays full. Patients are not called back in order of arrival. Waiting over 90 minutes to leave a urine sample is outrageously incompetent. read more

Very very Long time wait and I had to wait mainly for the doctor because he decided to come in late so I had to wait 3 hours and half; almost to 4 hours just for a 3-5 mins talk with a doctor... and the staff there most of them have attitude as they hate their jobs and they get it out on us (patients) so yes they are all unprofessional staff... I don't recommend this place at all but no choice because I have work comp related case there... customer service really bad as they will never call you back if you ever miss a call, they take hours and no call back, and always on hold and so on. thanks :) read more

I came here Sunday to get a drug test done after driving from two other locations that said were open but were actually closed. The medical assistant Karen was very nice and helpful and did not have to wait to long. Went out of her way to ensure everything went well. Would definitely come here for drug test again. read more

Contrary to most of the reviews posted, I had great service. My new employer referred me to Central Occupational Medical for my Tuberculosis screening and physical. I had to do two tuberculosis tests that were 10 days apart from each other. For the first test I went to the Corona clinic and for the second I was instructed to come to the Riverside. The Riverside location is right off of Central Avenue off the 91 freeway. Very easy to find. The parking lot isn't that big though. It looks like they have a place further down for additional parking if needed. I was hesitant when I saw the bad reviews, but didn't have a choice since I had to follow-through for my employer. My options were go to the "bad place" or file for unemployment LOL But surprisingly it wasn't bad at all. There are two doors when you walk up to the front of the building. Pay no attention to the door on the right. That one is locked and there's no need for you to walk over to that one and look stupid like I did... lol Go to the left. The door will be locked but it has a doorbell in the upper right hand corner, ring that and a lady comes to let you in. This is the protocol for weekends, I'm sure during the day it may be different. Most likely at night the door is locked for safety as well. This clinic is open 24/7 so that's a major plus!! The lady that let me in was really nice. She checked me in immediately and read my TB test. Then she printed me a copy and I was out in under 5 minutes. Win! Overall I had a good experience. Oh and if you drug test be sure to eat a ton of cabbage before hand so the lady that sniffs your sample gets a good strong smell. Because mine didn't have a strong enough scent she rejected my sample and this was right before closing so I got no retest and cost me a job. read more

Absolutely appalled with the service at this clinic and DISGUSTED with the way "Doctor" Robert Hennessy spoke with my husband. There's a reason why he has so many one star reviews. Do not come to this clinic. Save your time and get reviewed by an actual doctor. My husband was exposed to the smoke by the amazon distribution warehouse fire in Redlands and has not been feeling well. This doctor was complete desensitized, un empathetic, and told my husband verbatim "there's nothing wrong with you, I know because I'm a doctor" WITHOUT doing any tests, just by looking at him. He gave my husband attitude and seemed ballsy to get in his face. I am shocked on why this doctor still has his medical license. If there isn't any legality issues with this clinic now, I'm sure there will be in the near future. If I could I'd give no damn stars after the "treatment" I had today! Dr Hennessy has no manners whatsoever. If I'm going in with lots of pain from a fall I had at work 3 weeks ago(mind you this was my 3rd visit) and all he can say is go to work with restrictions and my job isn't budging(idk what makes him think that they'd follow the restrictions) then damn right I'm gonna go to my primary dr and rheumatologist and get checked. He questioned my doctor and his decision to place me off work for 2 weeks, no physical therapy/activity, along with Xrays and pain meds something he should've done but all he can say is Oh your fine. He said my Dr's say doesn't matter. He tried to act like he knows my medical history and that I have no illnesses. I had a certain time frame I needed to abide by. I had all my required paperwork/id with me and arrived on time. Since I was filling out their paperwork with MY PERSONAL information, I asked for a copy. I've been to NUMEROUS medical/dental/vision/hospital/urgent care/etc. and NEVER HAVE I BEEN QUESTIONED AS TO WHY I WANTED A COPY. The girl rudely and with an attitude questioned why I wanted a copy since it was their paperwork. NO SHIT!!! But the papers were requiring MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER ALONG WITH ALL MY OTHER INFORMATION. I didn't have my phone on me so that I could take a pic of the paper. So I DIDN'T PROVIDE MY SS# on the paper. I would have understood if should would have POLITELY said that she didn't have the authorization to make copies to provide to customers. HELLO MANAGEMENT!!! Properly train your employees!!! There is wide spread identity theft across the board. Hackers have hacked into the IRS and the Pentagon databases.
