My experience with then was very bad in the regard of replacement of Hayward salt cell that was still under warranty. I told them way before to come over that the cell is dead and need to be replaced,I paid $125 for them to remove, to do the warranty replacements forms.. they refuse to do that when they came over excusing that is Hayward protocol the chemistry of the water to be perfect and In my case salt was very high according with there tester(4400) but quite okay with mine (3600)and with there store tester when I took sample to them without knowing who we are...they performed 4 tests and all 4 came different(4000-3600) and couldn't explained. When I reviled my identity they tried to excused blaming on Hayward protocool.Theu supposed to came back next day after paying another $125 to remove the unit and replace it. In mid time I came home and called Hayward about the protocol explaining that the unit is dead for the past 2 month and was not even on for all this time but I couldn't do the troubleshooting becuse that is my vacation home and Im not there all the time. Hayward said shocked that they don't have any protocol about water chemistry and in special if is high not low. At that point i didn't trust them Central pool and Spa I cancelled my next day service request and payment and called to speak with a manager. They said he is not there but to call back in 2 h, when I called back to find out that they BLOCKED MY CELL NUMBER SO NOT TO BE ABLE TO SPEAK WITH THE MANAGER. i MAKE THE PHONE CALL FROM DIFFERENT NUMBER AND THAT WAS WORKING SO I REALIZED WHAT THEY HAVE DONE. i WILL DISPUTE THE CREDIT CARD CHARGE BASE ON REFUSING TO DO WHAT i ASKED THEM TO DO AND MISLEADING JUST TO MAKE EXTRA MONEY. They offered me to dump pool water and add more for $300 and I said no... So do not use this company ,they are greedy and misleading customers of their right when it comes to warranty. read more

Terrible. They literally come and do nothing. They just walk in, test and walk out. They never once added anything, only had the pool vacuumed by begging and then when I asked them to clean out the filter they just flat out wouldn't do it. Avoid them at all costs. read more

Well well well, where do i start??? ***DO NOT AND I REPEAT- DO NOT USE THEM AT ALL*** I contacted them over a week ago to performa warranty job and was given an attitude from the start of the conversation by the CS rep about not having a work order from the manufacturer. i called the manufacturer and they issued a work order within 10 minutes and I called them again to confirm and they claimed to not have it but yet it was in their email when i tried again. they put me into the queue for service 2 days later (Friday) and said someone would stop by. What do you know, NO ONE showed up Friday so i called back on Tuesday morning only to be told they lost my order so i now need to wait another 48 hrs since theyll have a tech in my area on that day. Ok, here we are on Thursday morning and I called to confirm once again and only to be told that the order once again was in the system. I called them once again several minutes later to be given attitude and lecture but yet they found the paper work and told me that a rep would be here this afternoon and NO ONE showed up again. Now they don't pick up the phone or return my calls. Do your selves a favor and stay far away from these folks!!! this is horrible customer service and not worth the headaches. check the reviews and move on to someone who actually appreciates the business and provides great customer services not attitudes. DO NOT use Central Florida Pool & Spa in Davenport, FL for your pool needs. When I first ordered a new pool light and chlorine generator for my pool on 10/15/21, they said they'd be there tomorrow to install them. Next day, no show, no call. I called them, and they say the same thing, we'll be there tomorrow. After two weeks of this, I gave up calling them and decided to look elsewhere. On 11/2, two men with equipment are milling around in my back yard. No call, no heads up. They installed the equipment with no issues. Fast forward to 5/3/23. I go to turn on my $1500 Pentair Intellibrite 5G Color LED pool light and it doesn't work. I called Central Florida Pool and Spa and explained the problem. I felt a cold chill down my spine when she replied they'd be there tomorrow. No show, no call. After a week, a man answered and said he'd be emailing me a warranty repair form within the hour. No email that day. Called the next day and was told the unit was warranted for only one year; ergo, enjoy that $1500 paperweight, buddy. I said you haven't even bothered to send a technician to see if it's something simple, like a transformer wire came loose. They were rude and curt throughout the phone call. Can you give me an estimated repair cost? They sent me an estimate for a completely new unit for $1450 and nothing else. Left to my own devices and, fortunately both an electrical engineer and technician, I checked the power at the transformer: 12VAC. I pulled the light from the pool and opened it up on the deck. Applied power. Checked the voltage at the light engine terminals: 0V. I pulled the power harness from behind the light engine to reveal a jumper that contained a molded fuse inside. I disconnected the jumper and rang out each leg to the terminal board with an ohmmeter. One side continuity, the other open. The harness fuse blew, Pentair part 620276, purchased through Amazon. Problem solved. I now see their scheme. They were going to replace my light for another $1500, then take my perfectly functioning unit back to their shop, install a simple fuse jumper, and sell that unit for another $1500. These people are crooked as hell, provide ZERO customer support, and lack even basic courtesy skills. This repair could have been done in less than an hour for $25 but instead, these crooked bastards were hoping to resell my used item to another unsuspecting customer. Save yourself a million stress headaches from dealing with these worthless crooks. Go somewhere, ANYWHERE else, except here. Worst pool equipment installer in all of Central Florida! Take it from a former space shuttle engineer: Avoid them like the plague! read more

From the girls at the office (Leslie, Whitney, Brittni,etc) bending over backwards to accommodate our sometimes unpredictable pool needs, to Billy who services our pool, they are ALL a great crew. We've had multiple pool needs and they handle it all! From lights that need replacing, igniters that go bad right before a long wknd, or Pump failures during Xmas...they go above and beyond to get our pool to a 5 level! I had a terrible experience with Central Florida Pools. I paid for a pool resurface April/ May 2021. I noticed what looked like an air bubble on side of pool, called for Central Florida Pool to check it out April 2021 - it didn't happen. I emailed them about issue in Nov 2022 again (Home is a vacation home) and finally got someone to look at another area in January 2023. After draining pool technician thought resurface material had degraded to the extent the entire pool needed to be resurfaced again after only after 1.5 years! Resurfacing should last 15 years. I spoke to the manager he could not tell me why the resurface material deteriorated. I was emailed by Central Florida Pool they would resurface pool AGAIN for $5900 but would be willing to do for $4700 due to circumstances. A big No Thank You from my end! Buyer Be Ware. read more

Just find someone else. My pool tiles have all been falling off since a month after the installation. It's literally missing grout around the entire pool perimeter. We spent well over $15,000 with them for a really, really bad job. I'm getting ghosted, Jeff (the owner) won't even return my call. Keeping this house rented is feeding my kids, and he doesn't even have the courtesy to talk to me. Leslie and Lisa also are of zero help. I was told they used a bad company to refinish the pool and there's nothing they can do about it. But Jeff won't talk to me to explain things from his perspective. I'm at a total loss. No communication with me through out the entire process. There is a place where the tile is misplaced. There are several white spots on the bottom of the pool. They never cleaned up after they were done, I had to jet vac my entire patio of all the debris. After just five days of filling the pool with water this guy comes by a dumps a very large amount of chlorine into the pool. My back yard smelled very badly of chlorine. I tested the chlorine level and it is extremely extremely too high. This is what ruined my pool a few years ago in the first place when a pool contractor was suppose to clean and maintain my pool for me when I was away. Who knows what this could have done to my newly plastered pool. Needless to say I am not a satisfied customer. read more

Called several times for new service and pricing, they provided that When I asked them to start service they said they would be out that day or the next.... no show, I called and asked for a tech to come out and check the pool heater she said Saturday, no show..... Thursday,Friday,Saturday, no call no show. I called another service Sunday afternoon they were there in 1 hour and did a fabulous job. The pool equipment was in disarray and was filthy from what I was told, when l called to cancel with central Florida pool and spa, she said they were there on the 12th (I bought the house on the 18th) So they did a bad job for the previous owners and didn't show up to continue poor work. Do not use this company. Paid them 4K to install a heater on a pool that was 7 months old. After installation the chlorinator was no longer functioning. Asked them to come out and the customer service rep told me "it was probably already broken" but that they would send someone out. They came out and had the nerve to charge me $105 to fix something they broke. I paid it so the issue would be fixed. Problem was the issue was not fixed and they still charged me for it. I ended up calling another pool company and they fixed the issue - the gasket and check valve were not installed properly and there was debris in the lines from the installation of the heater. read more

They know what we need and talk us through everything. Then Jeff came to our house and gave us a tutorial that was informative, experiential and he talked to us as if we have a brain! Can't say enough good things about Central Florida Pools & Spa and Jeff, in particular. After buyiing a new house with a pool and heater, we ran into trouble figuring out the heater and pump setup for the pool and jacuzzi. Since Central Florida Pools had serviced the heater and their info was on the heater, I called them. Even though the home is in Orlando and they are located in Davenport, they offered to have a technician walk me through our problems via phone and facetime!! They said someone would call me the following day - and they DID!! Jeff was wonderful and spent about half hour on the phone with me, had me show him all the equipment (via Facetime) and listened patiently at all my ramblings about why I was confused. He came up with a perfect solution and explanation and we are now able to control the equipment easily. Amazing customer service!! A++++ read more
