However, the basement was not finished, but had rough-in plumbing installed. We were looking for someone to finish the basement (4 rooms total), including adding an additional bedroom with closet and full bathroom. This included all electrical, plumbing, framing, drywall, door installation, flooring, trim, and painting. Mike was quick to respond to my original inquiry, come check out the space, and provide a quote. He was timely, friendly, and easy to collaborate with. We changed our mind a few times on final design - we appreciate how patient he was with us while we narrowed in on the final plan. The final quote was very detailed and he provided helpful information on the areas for potential cost increase (given that the home is old and there could have been unexpected things identified after work begun). This helped us set our expectations for the project. During the project, he kept us up to date on progress or concerns and kept the area very clean (ensuring very little debris made its way outside the basement into our home). He managed all of the subcontractors (electric, plumbing, carpet, etc) so we didn't need to worry about a thing. Made it super easy by having one point of contact! His work speaks for itself. There were a lot of difficult aspects of the basement to figure out (i.e. uneven walls and ceilings, tricky vents or pipes along the ceiling, water/electrical shutoffs needing to be accessible, etc), but he managed to turn the space into exactly what we were looking for. The attention to detail makes all the difference! In the end, the project took about two months (including carpet installation) and final cost was in line with the estimate. First time they installed telephone wires but not Ethernet cables. Then we found the issue and asked Ryan home to fix it. They fixed it but left the Ethernet cables in basement untouched without a connector. I had to pay a Spetrum network technician to cut connectors for us in 2023. I didn't notice this company was my new home contract until 08/2026. The second experience is that I doubt my inwall network cable or endpoint was not working properly. I asked them to come for a look and see if it still within warranty. Someone said it should be within warranty. They came and fixed the endpoints which are good. They charged 250$ for finding the cable and cutting the endpoint! What a ridiculous price! They took away my own crimping tool by accident and left over a box. It's just too ridiculous if I hadn't just checked by myself. That could explain what happened in 2023 when the same mistakes were made while I wasn't at home checking. How can the team be trustworthy if something similar happened once again??? This company to me is just always making mistakes. You paid money to not get a good quality service as expected. It's a hell quality. We always want to support local business but this local business is just garbage IMO. Don't deal with this company or you will have mess to deal with.
