Branch Electric did very good work on our home. I have used them again and also referred them. We had a very difficult time with a general contractor who did not pay the vendors he used to complete our bathroom remodel. Branch Electric sent a letter from an attorney that they would take out a mechanics lien on our home as a last resort to get paid. We had not paid the contractor the full amount so we paid Branch Electric directly and deducted it from what we owed the general contractor. While I was alarmed by this and wished they had just called me and explained the situation, I learned that a small business like Branch Electric has no contact with the home owner and this is one of the steps they take to get payment. I didn't even realize the full extent of a mechanics lien and that you as a homeowner can be held responsible if the contractor you hire doesn't pay their vendors. We hired a reputable general contractor who fell on hard times. Going to a big box store or a larger company may be better than a custom general contractor. read more

I highly recommend these guys. We had a tree come down in our back yard and it ripped the power lines out of our house, and in the process broke the weatherhead that feeds the lines into the house. Duke could not reconnect the lines until the weatherhead was fixed, so I was frantically calling electricians to see if someone could come out. It felt like some of the companies were trying to gouge us, but the price from Branch was reasonable, and they were able to make it out the same day. The electricians were professional, friendly, and they did an excellent job. We got our power restored that night, and Justin stuck around for several hours just to ensure that everything worked once Duke restored power. Excellent service!! Noah and his team did a service change (single meter to dual meter base) at my house so that I could enroll in the IPL EVX program for electric vehicle charging. He installed multiple circuits for dedicated electric vehicle charging for my 2 PHEVs and also installed my chargers. He got the necessary permits and coordinated everything with IPL for the disconnect and reconnect. He quoted me an extremely reasonable price (I got 14 quotes for this job so I know that he charged a fair price). We woke up this morning and our pool pump had stopped. In a quandary I checked the breaker and it was not flipped. I then checked the pump and the exterior AC plug to find it had literally "fried" at the pool's exterior outlet.
