She stated someone couldn't come out and give me an estimate or talk to me because they bundle all their estimates on certain days of the week and they don't do one on one meetings. So, I said, "Thanks, but I'll just have to take my business elsewhere then." I then found a company to do it. A week or so goes by and I receive a message from someone at AAA named Joseph Sullivan, stating they would like to come out and give me an estimate. I responded to the message and said, "Thanks, but I was told you don't do that by the lady that answers your phone, so I already scheduled someone else, but if for some reason the current company falls through, I will get back in touch and have you give me an estimate." Well, that ended up happening so I got back in touch with AAA. I left them a message on their voicemail and sent Joseph a direct email asking for him to come out and give me an estimate. I received ZERO RESPONSE. That tells me all I need to know about this company and my project is a decent size job. The fact they couldn't come out and talk to me when I originally called because of how they do their estimates was bad enough, but then when I actually allowed them a second chance and they couldn't follow through tells you all you need to know about AAA Sealcoating & Paving. Paul, Josh and Jayden arrived as planned, was very professional and pleasant. While one carried wheel barrel loads of mulch around in preparation of later spreading it, the others were grabbing the extra weeds we had missed as well as spent a considerable amount of time in tidying up all the edges of each bed before applying the mulch. The edges were already defined but had become a bit messy. When they were finished it was tidy, sharp clean edges! It was apparent their attention to detail was important to them, it was obvious they cared about the way they performed the job and cared about the end result of our yard. I had the best experience on Thursday of this week. I needed a new pressure switch for my well…read morepump. There was a competitor supply store right around the corner from my house, but they were quoting twice the cost of the switch ($14.25 at central supply). So I drove 30 min to the east side (I live on the west side of Indy) because they had been friendly on the phone and it was half price compared to the other store near me. Once I arrived, I quickly found the parts counter and was somewhat unprepared to order as I was unsure what I needed. I had snapped several photos of my pressure switch/tank to help me. That's when one of the regular plumbers (who was ordering parts also) looked at my pics and totally helped me order all that I needed to do the job. While we waited for our orders to get picked from the warehouse, I continued to learn more about pressure switches from the nice plumber who had ordered my parts for me. The staff and patrons were friendly, and very helpful. I was able to also purchase the wires I needed as well as a new pressure gauge because they have both plumbing and electrical supplies. Total bill : $27.38. Competition : $32.50 for just the pressure switch. I will definitely come back for my next plumbing/electrical needs.
