    Pretty first floor!

I've been working with Central Casting for two months and have been so happy thus far! The organization of the company & friendliness of the staff is so amazing. I seriously did not expect everyone to be so helpful and kind. I was nervous when I initially went in for my first appointment but the security guard was so darn friendly that it made it fun! And the lady who took my photos and information was great, as well. We talked hair curlers and I was all about it, lol! Since signing up, I've always been well informed via email AND text of availability checks and finally booked something two weeks ago. The Covid test and actual taping was very well communicated to me. And would you believe I already got paid? They are THAT good. I love that they don't just throw you in the database and be done with you. I get emails about meetings you can join with casting agents and other staff members. I've joined a couple of sessions and found them super helpful with great tips. I really think they're going above and beyond with those meetings for the actors. Their website is so well organized, really easy to update information and photos. No problems at all! I have been so happy with Central Casting that I told my bestie to sign up and he's also had an amazing experience since signing up last week. Highly recommended!

This set caterer must have been inexpensive and available....cause NO!

I enjoyed going back register, after being gone for so long. I was a few minutes late for my appointment, and glad the staff still saw me, especially since I had driven so far. My process was quick, since I was previously a member. The staff was polite and helpful....my pics came out great, and I can't wait to start receiving call backs!

Super friendly and overall a nice environment to be in! I can't wait to see what the future holds. If you are nervous and this is your first time here, don't be, keep your head up and keep going. Show them who's BOSS.

Signed up just the other day and had a wonderful experience! The casting directors are super helpful and friendly and talked us through the whole process. Very well-organized and reputable place and company!

this place is... I don't even have a word for it. I have worked as a background extra since the year 2000 with Central Casting. Recently, I hit a lot of dead ends with them. Different reasons why my online account is not active. They say to go there in person, but there is no link to sign up for in person. Then they give me another excuse, saying they are currently not accepting any additional profile reviews. Then they keep giving me these ticket numbers. When I call back and give them the ticket number, they say they have no ideea what I'm talking about. I always go there on the day when they tell me to go on the silly website to sign up, and it never changes, this has been going on for years and years of me trying to deal with this new online system. Very dissapointing. This is Entertainment Partners, this is not some joke of a company, this is a legitimate big company. Their callers(tech) are usually not from America, they are rude, they talk without a break on the phone and throw their excuses and they had me going in circles for years now about my profile. This tech indian lady kept calling me mam after about every two words she was saying. She even said "shit" when she realized she made a mistake. I mean they require I give them all my private info, full social security, full address, phone number, date of birth, everything. I ask them, "How do I know you're not a person in India stealing this personal info" yet they require I give them all my private information. SCARY. I don't want to have anything to do with Central Casting or Entertainment Partners! It is scary and sad they are the legitimate companies for background work.

5 months later since I started with CC at the end of April, let me just say it was a roller coaster ride, my main concern was commuting as I live in San Diego, and most of the works remain in LA sometimes Irvine and the further North up to Santa Clarita. Remember when gas price was sky rocket a few months ago? Yes, I was consistently booked; so consider it a blessing as a lot of folks didn't get to work much during recent years. I was told that after you reached certain ages you wouldn't get hired as much, then people were relying on other calling services instead of Central Casting. For me working as non union was hard at first because of distance between where I live, nonetheless I didn't stop, I accepted any work I was sent to, up til the point I become SAG eligible which was fast for a new actor like me. So I am very thankful for Central to provide me with bookings, although after I joined SAG-AFTRA, I did experience a slightly delay on booking for about 2 weeks, based on what I understand of this business standpoint was they only have limited amount on union vouchers to hire people on every productions. I am still in the middle of transitioning. Well, thank you Central Casting for everything you have done, I am looking forward to a great journey.

Ask the Community - Central Casting

For people with t-mobile, on the central casting website it says we might have a business block and not receive text messages. Does anyone else have this problem?

I have T-mobile and haven't experienced any issues with receiving text messages from Central Casting.

When does the online registration open?

    Currently closed

    How early should i arrive?

As early as you can to find parking and be in line

How does the registration progress works? What do I need to bring with me, and do I have to have any experienced? Also how should I go dress? Thanks. I might be going next week.

No experience required, dress casual, just need to bring driver license, passport, social security card

Those who made it in, especially those who were among the first in: what time did you finish with the registration process?

10:30-11 I was number 3 in line, so the earlier, the quicker you're done. After you register, they take headshots. So those who arrived later, had to wait for everyone's… Read more

This is a two part review…read more Entry level- I worked with Melissa Oller who was fantastic. She had excellent communication skills and guided me through the job hunting process as an entry level candidate. I was then switched over to another agent who linked me to an assignment that I was eventually hired through. Pros- I had the opportunity to work in different work environments. Cons- You may be low balled on pay. Or in my case miscommunication on pay agreements between the agency and organizations. This resulted in unsatisfactory pay wages. To make the situation better it happened on more than one assignment. Going into an agency you need to know what you're asking for because you can be swayed to work in jobs that may not be what you envisioned. So do some studying before hand. Mid Level Career Change- With a few years of experience in administrative and accounting work, I wanted to shift to more creative role. After contacting the office they advised I came to a mixer with recruiters to help with the job search. However, he failed to tell me that there would not be agents who could assist me with my request and found out as soon as I checked in. The front desk assured me that Randee Schlosser would be ready to assist in connecting me to the right people. After meeting with her I handed over my resume and she said stated it would be sent to her connections who were in charge of creative roles. Though her words seemed assuring, I wanted to send over a digital copy of my resume to make the process easier. That was the last time I heard from Randee. She never replied to my emails or voicemails. This agency needs to improve their communication skills and professionalism. I would not recommend them unless you're willing to explain what you need word for word and follow with them everyday (numerous times a day).

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you end up using Michelle, it will ruin all other agencies for you…read more I am a professional career nanny. I have over seven years of nannying experience, five years of teaching experience, and more. I have a B/S in childhood development as well as my MAT. When I began my search for a nanny-family in LA, I did my due diligence by shopping around looking at multiple agencies. I found that Michelle had the TOP RATED AGENCY ON MULTIPLE SITES and wanted to take a closer look. I read through every. single. review. I thought to myself, "Really? Every single person had a positive experience with this agency? That's just not statistically possible if she's really working with this many people..." I decided to set up a meeting. I drove to her office where we met to discuss particulars (what I'm looking for, what families are in the market for a nanny right now, what ages/salary/commute/hours I'm looking for) and the moment she opened the door and greeted me with a giant smile and her upbeat, positive attitude, I felt like just working with HER was my perfect placement! Once we started the process, Michelle was completely professional while also refreshingly honest and realistic in her suggestions. She really took the time to get to know me and what I was looking for and she only suggested me to families that she knew had the potential to be a "love match!" After looking at a few potential matches, Michelle called me to tell me that she had "found my family!" She said, "This is the one. Please go for an interview and see for yourself." So I did. This is the part of the review where I'm going to get annoyingly emotional. Not only did the family and I immediately "click," but Michelle had made sure that all of our stats were in alignment. The age range, schedule, amount of hours, commuting time, pay rate, expectations and needs happened to all align with what I was looking for. It was LITERALLY the PERFECT PLACEMENT!!!! Coincidence? I think not. Michelle is highly intelligent, professional, personable, understanding, diligent, experienced, communicative, and pleasantly charismatic and I owe my job satisfaction directly to her. Now that I think about it, maybe I should send over a bottle of wine. Thank you, Michelle, for just being so incredibly good at what you do. As I mentioned earlier, when I started this process, I read through every one of your (5 star) reviews and thought, "There's just no way every single review can be five stars..." and now here I am adding one more.

I met Michelle at a time when I was at a low point in my nanny career and personal life. I had…read morebeen looking for top nanny position and had been on many interviews through other agencies. It seemed like I had landed a few dream jobs only for it to slip away from me. Really trying times. Then I met Michelle! This brings a smile to my face. Meeting with her felt like chatting with a friend. I realized after that this is her skill. She loves people and wants to represent both the families and the nannies. It was a slow period and she didn't have any job opportunities at the time when I signed up with her agency, the perfect placement. After being on the hunt for my top nanny job with a kind family for many months and it wasn't happening I was getting ready to move out of state. I mentioned to Michelle that I'm no longer looking for a position as it doesn't seem like it's going to happen. Michelle didn't give up on me. She called me with 2 opportunities. I went on both interviews and was called back to do a trial for the one that I wanted !! Yay !! Then Michelle negotiated some time off that I needed to take care of a health issue. The family was so wonderful they waited for me ! All I can say everything lined up perfectly. Michelle will always return your call in a timely manner and she always checks in to see how you're doing. I thank God I met Michelle !
