Very bad agency they hire people to work for Welbehealth and this horrible place fires them because their training is done by 2 incompetent man and a woman! After that they trow up under the bus and this agency tries to hire again! What a scam and a joke! Their hiring process is ridiculous and welbehealth will fire you ! Disgusting way to treat employees! read more

Barrington Staffing got me my first job in a field I had been trying to enter for awhile. The interview process with them was straightforward and the folks there were really nice! I really appreciate Gail and Jaymes personal touch. Keep it up! TLDR: 10/10, would recommend! read more

I've worked for a company through Barrington for the past 8 months. I was placed within a month and what a placement! I love this job, I was able to explain the what I enjoyed doing out of my previous work experience and Gayle and Jaime were able to place me perfectly. Gayle and Jaime were so kind. They were excited along with me when they found the placement right for me. And they're equally excited for me to move forward. I've worked with a few temp agencies in the past and Barrington is by far the best. read more

So happy I found Barrington! I needed to staff registration for a conference with 48 hours notice and Sara & Alex placed us with just the right people on a day's notice. They were profession, friendly, proactive and just a pleasure to work with! I highly recommend Barrington and they'll be my first call next time I'm in need of staffing! read more

Feeling really grateful for Barrington. They've helped me out with finding temporary office, customer service, and administrative assistant work since I've registered with them. It's been really cool to work at different locations and refine my skills there. I love the variety, but I also love that there are temp-to-hire opportunities as well for when I am ready to settle down. The sign up process is a bit lengthy, but it's very thorough and made me feel confident in my skills. (There is remote testing and an in-person interview). The ladies in the office are very friendly, they communicate well, and I feel like they are looking out for me! Thank you Alex & Sara!! read more

I am really greatful to the wonderful staff at Barrington. They are truly a great company and Gayle and Jaime are so friendly and awesome. What I like the most is that they have contracts with career companies. The current assignment that I am working on is a wonderful place to work! In short, these ladies were able to exceed my expectations regarding salary as well as the type of clients they represent. I am so happy I found this agency! They are truly legit. read more

Alex and Sara at Barrington are the best! They placed me at the right company. It has been a great match from the day I interviewed. I really enjoy working there and now I am there permanently. Everything turned out so well and even quicker than I expected. I appreciate Alex' and Sara's attention to me and their communication regarding my employment quest versus other employment agencies that just ignored me as a client. read more

I just graduated from UC Davis with a bachlors of Mathematics and took my job search seriously. I was working with a great marketing company within the next week! Jamye not only prepared me for the interview but also negotiated on my behald for a salary bump. Truely an amazing agency! & its all FREE read more

During a time when I was looking for work, I signed up with some temp agencies, and Barrington was one of them. A relative of mine had some luck with them and had some good things to say about them, so I signed up. Same process as other temp agencies: fill out form, interview, do some testing of some basic office skills, like typing, etc. Easy enough. After about 4-6 weeks of diligently calling every Monday morning, I was slowly but surely growing frustrated. I called to speak with the woman who interviewed me sharing I was concerned about not having any response from Barrington and was taken aback when she began to share she was having a bad day and didn't have time to talk to me. Seriously? How absolutely unprofessional. Well, guess what Barrington? If temp agencies happen to come up in conversations, I don't mention you; and if you are mentioned, I just say "There are better, more professional agencies out there," and share my experience. Your agency provides a service. Your customers are also the people who come to you looking for another avenue of job searching and not just the companies who are looking to fill short-term gigs. When you have employees who are having a "bad day" and say they don't have time for the temps your company has signed up, then get rid of those employees. They only hurt your business. I know I'll never recommend you to anyone. read more

I've reached out to several staffing agencies before Barrington, some ok, some bad, some with no results. The results from contact Barrington ended up as my future career. Mayra has been helpful from the moment i stepped in. She made me feel comfortable and stress free during my interview and testing process. The payroll reps are also very helpful doing everything in their power to make my direct deposit go thru with an old check that my bank had since their updated their name and it seems to be an issue but Barrington made it work. Mayra and the other office staff have been extremely helpful and professional with any questions i had regarding my time sheet and quickly responded every time i had an inquiry. There is only one thing that could be improved. An online time card system versus mailing every week. However, after the first couple of weeks, i got used to it. Thank you! Highly recommended! read more

So here's the deal. I've received nothing but timely responses, and plenty of opportunities for employment while working with Alex. Personally speaking, I haven't had any issues, and so far I've managed to get hired by three jobs, two that are temporary, and the next one is a long term position. So far my experience with Barrington has been great! I've been employed through Barrington since October--only two months ago. read more

I would love to say that they're still as good as they once were! However that's not the case since Myra and Janet have left. Alex is rude and condescending and hangs up on you if you have a differing of opinion. Let's just say I guess I'll be going elsewhere with my talent. If I could I'd wouldn't give them even the 1 star. read more

Myra and Janet bust themselves to help! Great ladies, very compassionate and totally supportive. Highly recommended. read more

This is by far the best staffing agency ever. I have never received such great experience from any other agency. Cynthia & Alex are very professional, and have helped me land not only a temporary job, but a job that fits my needs to the fullest. These two above always answer all of my questions, and return my calls/messages promptly. If you are looking for a great job; are tired of not being contacted back; or just feel like you need some help. Then don't hesitate to call this agency. You will not be disappointed. read more

This is a lie, there is no such a thing as the Barrington services are good, they are useless and I went there with a well written resume. They looked at it, ' oh you are over qualified' there is no such a thing as over qualified. dont bother going to this agency, you will get no result. Wast Of Time. read more

They've been so helpful on helping me get back on my feet after being in school for two years...no one liked the fact that I went to school full time and did not work. When no one would give me the chance to show them what I had they did. Thank you for all your support and help. read more

Sara at Barrington was great! Straightforward, didn't waste any time, and connected me to a job that fit my skill set perfectly. I would def use them again! read more

I absolutely love Barrington! I used them as a resource about 11 years ago and came back about 2 weeks ago with hopes of finding employment. The office is easy to find and very welcoming. I was helped by a woman named Cynthia, who was extremely helpful and sweet! She contacted me just 2 hours after our meeting with several potential interviews. I am currently working for them at a great company and I couldn't be happier! I highly recommend coming here if your seeking employment. read more

Since moving back to Los Angeles last year, I have had a great relationship with Barrington Staffing in Burbank. Janet and Gaby have been incredible representatives by finding me assignments. They are, in my opinion, Diamonds in the Rough. Thank you Barrington for keeping me busy during these rough economic times. If anyone is looking for a temp agency, please contact this Barrington Staffing in Burbank and speak to either Janet or Gaby and mention me as a referral. read more

Terrible. One of the recruiters reached out to me to come in and said I am very placeable based on my experience so I go in to interview and test for almost two hours, only for her to never follow up with me. When I called to check in, "no positions." Very tacky and no follow through. Overall just wack. Don't waste your time. read more

As far as staffing agencies goes, Barrington Staffing is great. I visited the Burbank location to fill out an application for a position posted on Craigslist. The position was in Santa Monica, and though they mostly have jobs posted in the 818/Burbank/Valley area, they occasionally have a need from Westside employers. I spoke with Gaby on the phone, but had my interview with Janet. Janet is super sweet, and KIND! I couldn't believe how nice she was. They were having a very busy day, and she treated me professionally, but also humanely. Which is saying alot, especially for a business like this when people are in and out every half hour. I didn't get the job I applied for, but true to her word, Janet contacted me to let me know. I'm hoping to be able to work with them in the future. If you live in the Burbank area and want to be treated like a human, contact Gaby and Janet at Barrington! read more

Barrington Staffing has truly helped me get back on my feet. For the past 6 months, I have been fortunate to work through various businesses around the Burbank area -- gaining more office/administrative knowledge & connections than I ever expected to receive. A big thanks to Mayra & Janet! They have both been so helpful and supportive since day one. I highly recommend getting in touch with these ladies if looking to approach the staffing company. From attending to your job needs, to encouraging you the day of your new position(s) -- these ladies communicate with you the whole way through. Thanks again Barrington! read more

I can't say enough positive things about the Barrington team! When I was looking for a job, they were responsive and got me tested and ready to go in a matter of days. Within only a week or so I had a great temp job at a company near my home that enabled me to stay positively engaged in the job market - working on my skills - while I searched for a permanent position. Barrington is great. Highly recommend registering with them if you're looking to work as a temp and if you're a company in need of a staffing service, I have seen first hand the high quality people they provide businesses in times of need. read more

Barrington isnt your typical agency, they only reach out if you meet the background they seek for the jobs they have. They will not test you on 100 things they only test you on whats needed for the job you are applying for so after a quick typing word and excel i was on my way. Mayra and Janet were friendly and explained everything from paperwork to timecards. I wish they had an app for the timecards as of now you have to mail it in which is a bit too old school for me but so far i havent had any issues with mine. Barrington has been amazing to me and so happy Mayra was able to place me . read more

It should be clear that this company is not like Apple One or any "head hunting" business as they say. They interview people and submit candidates to local companies. I submitted my resume was called in for an interview. It was pretty normal. Computer assessment and a sit down. The biggest positive for this company is that they are honest in that they will not communicate with you, it is up to you to update with them. The downer is that there is no guarantee if you will be accepted for a position, so you wait and wait and wait. I ended up getting a full time position with a company on my own. This is a small company with some nice people running it. It is worth giving it a shot but not if you are in a time crunch... read more

Submitted my resume online. About a week later Janet called me for an interview, filled out paperwork, took a few tests. I Went in about 2 days later she was very accommodating considering that I was employed at a different location and let me come in early so I can head back to work afterwards. About a week later she reached out to set up an interview with myself and the employer. I went in and met with the VP of the company. I was offered the job and they allowed me to give 2 weeks notice. Now I am currently working in a position I am very happy with a good credible company. I had never obtained a job through a staffing agency; but I am extremely greatful for Janet, Mayra and the rest of the staff with all their help for the wonderful job opportunity I have been given. My life feels like it's getting back on track. Thank you from the bottom of my hear Barrington! read more

Today was my first day at my new job thanks to Barrington Staffing Services. It was an amazing first day. Mayra even called me before going to work to wish me luck. I never would have thought about entering advertising if it were not for Barrington. They are very honest about how everything works and they are very fast with updating. I interview on Monday and got an interview on Wednesday and was hired that same day. They have great relationships with local businesses. I love this place!!! read more

Do not use this agency. They use the bait and switch game. Thank goodness I didn't have to pay for their horrible service. They inform you of one position, but then play the game of "that job has been put on hold from the employer", then offer you another job, for less money, with the same employer. A total waste of time! It has been a month since that time. Haven't heard a word back from the agency. They know what they did was wrong. read more

I can't thank this place enough!!! Mayra is such a sweetheart but don't be fooled by her sweetness. She's a fighter and will get you placed, since the day I went in she was thorough in explaining how everything works. She never gave up and kept submitting me till i got placed. Not only did I get an assignment but it's EVERYTHING I asked for. The hours, the pay and the location! I'm glad I went to Barrington, they were a great help. I highly recommend them if your looking for some extra help. read more

I love how these other reviewers say they are getting the "bait and switch" scam pulled on them from Barrington. I haven't been contacted at all! I submitted a resume back in April, have called them periodically to "check in" --I have a bachelors degree and experience. They practicality hang up on me when I call. Gigantic waste of time. The people running this place don't know what it's like to be looking for work because THEY HAVE A JOB! Totally insensitive phone manner! read more

I've had a great experience so far, I got an interview pretty quick. I'm still working. The only ccomplaint I have is my paycheck coming late, but keep in mind this is the first time that it's happened. But other than that, nothing but good things to say about them. read more

This is the second time that I have attempted to acquire employment through this agency. I am still waiting. The first time I worked with Gaby. All she told me was that I had to check in every week. If not, she wouldn't know whether I was still available. That was the reason that I was given for the lack of success. This year, I took the tests. I scored way above average. Well, I am still waiting. I am calling in every week. But, nothing has happened yet. read more

Job hunting can be a very frustrating experience especially if it feels like there's no one out there that cares. Barrington knows their business and treats their employers and candidates with professionalism and respect. They know the businesses needs and go out of their way to make a good fit. They are very knowledgeable and provide great insights for both the employer and candidates. Most importantly they communicate and keep everyone informed and move the process along. read more

This place is a JOKE! They can't get their act together to save their life! Apparently, a job was very interested in me, which was great news! This employer wanted to do a "second" interview. However, they wanted my references....alright, no problem. Barrington FAILED to inform me that they were having a hard time getting my references. Almost TWO WEEKS had PAST when the employer called for the second interview and for the references! If Barrington had called me the first day that they had an issue with getting my references, I would of been able to get Barrington any reference they wanted! I had letters from employers, recommendations from clients, and I could of personally called past employers to get the ball rolling to have them fax, or call Barrington! But because Barrington just sat on it, and was not proactive, and did not go the extra mile, of informing me of the problem...They COST ME THE JOB because of their LACK OF STAYING ON TOP OF THINGS!!! Then to make matters worse, they placed with a crappy temp job with a crazy, bipolar boss(after losing the job, I really wanted) every week, I would call to get a status of how the employer thought I was doing, etc., finally on the eve of my 3rd month (end of my probation period) I overhear my employer talking to Barrington (I couldn't hear word for word..but I heard "Janet" and "Barrington" so I knew they spoke) so an hour later in the morning...I called Janet at Barrington to ask for feedback....and she completely LIED to me on the phone....telling me she never SPOKE to the employer! Well come 5:25pm (I'm already driving home from work) Janet calls to inform me she has bad news...that the "assignment" has been cancelled! Now, I'm pretty sure SHE KNEW OF THIS "CANCELLATION" IN THE MORNING WHEN I CALLED! She could of told me then....instead of having me work the entire day...when I could of spent my time on better things, like pounding the pavement...looking for a NEW JOB!! STAY AWAY....THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE EMPLOYEE.... ONLY THE CLIENT!!! They will not back you, they will not have your best interest at heart, they only care about the bottom dollar, because you are their meal ticket. Plus the way do business is very old fashioned....everything is done by snail-mail...timecards MUST be mailed, paychecks are mailed, EVERYTHING is done by the mail. Apparently they are not aware of the internet or any type of technology advances... read more

I wish I would've contacted Barrington much sooner! It's been a week and with the help of Mayra I was able to find a great job which I'm super excited about starting. I'm beyond happy. From the start Mayra was super nice and helpful.. As soon as she would hear from employers she would update me, making the process much less stressful. Although I didn't work much with Janet, she was still very nice and I'm positive she would've helped me just me as much. I'm forever grateful. Thank you!! read more

I can honestly say that Barrington is the ultimate best! I worked with Mayra throughout the entire process; she was awesome! I submitted a resume and I got a call to go into the office and fill out an application and take a few tests to make sure I qualified for the positions. Mayra explained everything thoroughly, she was always so pleasant to talk to & ready to help. About a week after I had gone to Barrington and applied, Mayra had gotten me a temp job then the following week an interview at another job & now I'm currently employed! Before Barrington I had such a difficult time finding a job, I didn't even know where to begin. Barrington & Mayra made the process so much easier. Mayra works hard to find the perfect fit for you. So stop wasting your time & call them! You won't regret it!! Thanks again so so much Mayra!!!!! read more

I walked into Barrington Staffing Services a few weeks ago and met with Janet and Mayra. The very next day I had a job that they asked me to go on for a few days. The next week I was on a job for over a week. The third week I was with them I got an interview for a temp to hire job and then got the job. Mayra was so helpful and believed in me when I needed the boost. Janet got my resume to their Valencia office right away because she realized they may have a position that best suited my skills there... and wouldn't you know it that's where I'm starting my new position in a few days. My experience with Barrington Staffing was AMAZING! I worked with Mayra Rivera at Barrington Staffing and after our initial interview she was always helpful and willing to give suggestions and comments on my resume and potential job offers. Within a few days after meeting with Barrington, they were offering me several positions. I would highly recommend Barrington Staffing to anyone who is looking for work! Ask for Mayra, she is the BEST! She would call me anytime work was available, and re assured me that new work would be coming up. Mayra, also made sure to return my calls and/or emails in a prompt and timely manner. Always kept me updated, I appreciated that very much. Thank you Mayra for the many opportunities you presented, and ultimately placing me in a role that my resume likely would never qualify me for. You recognized my potential, and gave me that chance.
