We loved central bark for our dog! He loves to play, and he always came home exhausted from playing all day. They post pictures of play time on Facebook, so we could see what he was up to and how much fun he was having. The staff were always super friendly and kind when we came in for pick up and drop off. We always felt comfortable leaving our dog in their caring and capable hands. We moved away so we won't be regulars anymore, but if we ever need dog care in the area again we would love to go back to Central Bark! read more

We can't not say enough good things about Central Bark Falls Township! They have been so incredibly helpful with our fur babies when we were having our daughter in the hospital! They were flexible and so understanding of plans changing. They even helped acclimate our pups to the smell of our daughter so it helped when we brought her home to meet her brother and sister! I can not recommend this doggie daycare enough! They truly go above and beyond and love your pups like they were their own. My dog absolutely loves coming here for daycare and boarding, she runs in every time we get to the parking lot! I appreciate the daily schedule which includes nap time in between play sessions and the care the staff takes to pair up appropriate dogs into the various playrooms. I bought a package for 20 daycare sessions which gives you 20% off if you buy in the first month, a good deal. When I first called to schedule my dog to attend Central Bark daycare, the woman on the phone was SO nice. Sounded so warm and friendly, walked me through a lovely process, and made me feel my dog would be in good hands. She told me I would receive a full tour of the facility when I got there, and that I should pack a meal and snack for my dog as she would be there for around 11 hours. When I showed up, I was met by a fairly rude younger girl who seemed to be bothered by my presence. She didn't offer any sort of tour, but instead grabbed my dogs paperwork, took my dog into the back, and told me she'd see me when I came back that night. I was a little confused but I let it go and left. I picked up my dog and she was very tired and very thirsty (a good sign - she was clearly up and about all day). However, her food wasn't even taken out of the container in which I brought it, leading me to believe she had no access to food all day. I was happy with how tired out she was and she seemed very content when they brought her out to me, so I left fairly happy. I brought my dog back a second time, and this time was totally different. Drop off went the same, but when I came to pick her up, a man went into the back to get her. He carried her out and she looked so scared and alert, and immediately bolted to me when she saw me (the first time I picked her up, she was excited but looked like she was very content). This time she looked panicked and scared. Then she immediately bolted to the door. The second we got outside she went to the bathroom, leading me to believe she had been in her cage for at least the past few hours with no chance to go. Then we got home and she wasn't the least bit tired out. She clearly spent most of her day in her cage. I was originally told that she would be in the cage for no more than 3 hours throughout the day, between her nap and at the end of the day, but the way she was acting proved otherwise. I'm not going to pay for my dog to be kept in a crate all day - the whole point is for her to socialize and play when she would otherwise be stuck at home alone. I'm willing to give them another chance, but I'm certainly hesitant and would strongly recommend they consider who they have at the front desk and handling these animals. I still gave three stars because I got her groomed the first time, and they did a wonderful job!! At the very least, i'll be taking her there for grooming. read more

I needed somewhere for our new puppy to go since I work night shift and need to sleep during the day. We chose central bark because pet smart has a stupid policy that pit bulls can go there but can't play with the other dogs and four paws by snipes doesn't give them nap time. Nap time was important to me because she was a puppy and would get nippy when tired and I didn't want her to have a bad experience if she was grumpy. WE LOVE IT AT CENTRAL BARK! They greet her by name. She is placed in the appropriate group by activity not size. She plays outside or inside in bad weather all day, nap and lunch 12-2 in their own crates with classical music and lavender diffusing then back to play. She usually falls asleep on the ride home. They post pictures on their Facebook page every day so I can see her happy face. read more

I'd say it's been about 4 years now since we first walked through the doors of Central Bark. I had just received a very high energy and very unsocialized rescue who was starting to drive me crazy. I tentatively passed the leash over to Stephanie one of the owners and she took her without any hesitation and walked into the back through the door I still stood there waiting to see if I heard any barking or screeching or yelling but nothing. That evening I returned to pick her up again very concerned and asked how things went Stephanie assured me there were no problems that Zoey had to learn to get a little bit more socialized but they managed fine with her and she did very well. She came home that night and passed out on the couch and I was a very happy person. Flash forward 4 years and Zoey has been going there roughly 3 days a week every week, every time I go on vacation I board her there I know that they care about her it's clean spacious she actually enjoys it. I've never seen such an antisocial dog get so excited to go where other dogs and people are. granted she loves the people the most and they deserve it. when there are dogs there she won't play with they set one person off just to play with her alone. I can't begin to tell you how grateful I am that we found them were it not for Central Bark I don't think I would have been able to keep Zoey. read more

After losing our dog in January 2021 we were devastated and within 2 months we had a new puppy and with my wife going back into the office we weren't sure what to do with our dog Daphne. She is a Border Collie and just full of life and energy. After doing some research and talking to Central Bark we dropped Daphne off for her evaluation. Both me and my wife kept looking at our phones for that phone call to come pick up our crazy dog but that never happened. Instead we found a home away from her home, Daphne simply loves Central Bark. From the moment she sees the building her tail is wagging and she is super excited and enters the building like she is on the red carpet for the Grammy's. When we pick up Daphne she is so worn out that she is just about asleep on the ride home and most of the time takes a nap the moment we get home. CB is really impressive! We drive about 25 minutes out of our way to take our pup there and it's worth it. The property is clean, big, well maintained and Maci has a ball. We have taken Shadow there several times now, mostly for boarding when we go out of town. We recently rescued him, so I was so surprised at how quickly he has warmed up to this place. The last time we took him, he was so relaxed and eager to go in. That says a lot. We also had him groomed, and that was great! The owners are so nice and accommodating every time. And I love getting to see photos of him on the FB page playing with the other dogs when we are away! Great place to take your dog! read more

There are several indoor and outdoor play areas, and the dogs are placed in playgroups based on temperament, size, etc. The owners, Stephanie and Mike, are super nice people, and they run a tight ship there.
