Nice place, customer service was good. Cashiers were great. The adoption went good. Went to go get a full grown adult cat that came out with a kitten. So the full cat didn't wanna come with us. But I'm gonna keep trying to see if he will later. If he's still there, he's a beautiful cat. I like the kitten also, but i'm not used to holding cats or any animals, but they still love me.And want a cuddle read more

Walked in on Black Friday to pick up an order I was told was ready. Only one register was open with a long line. No one was in sight to ask in sight. Two people with employee attire were chatting casually outside so I went and asked where I pick up my order. She jumped on her radio and said more people were needed at the registers and too ok he'll with pick ups but continued her casual convo with another employee. J felt bad for the employees who were clearly running around. I shopped here for the sale but probably will stuck with chewy. read more

I booked an appointment for a wash, brush and deshedding online. When I arrived the girls behind the grooming counter were SO rude and not the least bit courteous. I was stunned at the lack of customer service. I waited my turn, and as I waited, watched one of them cut the snout of the dog she was grooming with scissors. When I asked if they could remove some of the matts that had formed under my dog's armpits, the girl behind the counter stated that I must not brush my dog. Again, I was stunned at the rudeness. I will NEVER shop or use Petsmart services EVER again and will tell everyone I know how bad my experience was!!! Unbelievable!! read more

We dropped off our 2 dogs for 9 days at the pet hotel while we went on our vacation. The staff was very courteous and helpful. They answered any questions we had and were very polite. The young gentleman at the front counter was great, he treated our pups with care. We opted for the bath and brush at the end of their stay which was also terrific. The pups came home looking and smelling great! Can't say enough about how great the Fairless Hills location is. read more

I brought my girl in for a grooming appointment early this morning. I usually make my appointments first thing in the morning because she doesn't get along well with other dogs. Luckily they take appointments starting at 7:00 AM. Staff is friendly and prices are a little on the pricy side. They are only a few minutes from the office so I am willing to pay for the convenience. The grooming area itself is a bit small but equipped to handle 6-8 dogs at one time but they typically only work on 1-3 dogs at once. They are a full service salon so they can handle bathes, cuts/styles, ear cleaning, nail clipping, gland cleaning, teeth cleaning and more. If you sign up for coupons on PetSmart's website they will send you grooming coupons periodically. I usually get a $10.00 off coupon every 2-3 months. read more

I have always provided a generous tip to my groomers...not today, Lisa was rude and did a terrible job with my dog. My appointment was at 8....I walked in the door at 8:03. Lisa had already called my wife and threatened to cancel the appointment. I walked in the door with no acknowledgement of my presence while she complained about the computer system for five minutes with he coworker. Once she finally asked my dogs name...she then asked what kind of cut? I said a teddy bear....we then argued over the length of the trim on the body....I said medium.....not good enough "go call your wife....I need s number!" Called my wife and she complained how rude she was to her! Got the number and medium was fine. I can into pick up Millie and her body was trimmed nicely but almost nothing was trimmed on her head.....unbelievable! When I got home I spent an hour trimming her myself! We have had good success with PetSmart Grooming in the past.....I watched the other groomers take great care with grooming the dogs in there care. I will not use Lisa ever again and if she is the supervisor then I won't use PetSmart ever again! read more

This is a review about the pet hotel. I will NEVER bring my dogs there again. Further more I will also never shop there again. We took our dogs to the pet hotel for a quick stay from Thursday to Saturday. My dogs get frontline every month. We took them to board and they came home infested with fleas. The manager was rude and said he never wanted my dogs there again ever. Well that's fine. It was dirty and now they go somewhere else to board and come home much happier. read more

***I have been coming here several days a week for the past year or more, so this may be a very detailed review of the establishment. I have a 14-month-old poodle mix named Luna who has been coming here for all of her care (grooming, socialization, training, the vet, some supplies) since she was 9 weeks of age (which is when I brought her home).*** I would like to touch on every aspect of this store (except the vet care at Banfield, which is not considered a part of PetSmart itself), as I've experienced literally every aspect of it: Grooming: Perhaps one of the worst aspects of the store. A 2/5 overall. I have my dog groomed here regularly because it seems to be the cheapest option in town IF you have coupons. (Frankly, I think it's very close to a lot of other places in pricing, without coupons. My girl is medium-sized at 37 pounds and I usually pay $65 or so for the absolute most basic grooming that is mainly a bath, cut, and a brush.) Most of the time, my little girl comes back way too short. Daycare/Boarding: Probably the best aspect of the store. 4/5 overall and the reason why I keep coming back. I drop my dog off here at somewhere between 2-4 days a week. I'll say it outright: the size of the rooms the dogs play in is much smaller than you'll find at the local mom-and-pop shops. But the money you'll be saving makes an incredibly large difference. I've seen many smaller, non-chain stores charge around $30+ for a full day of doggy daycare, which is about 9 or 10 hours maximum because the smaller stores close quite early, often around 6 to 7 PM. Here at PetSmart, you can expect your dog to get about 8 hours of playing with other dogs from about 9 AM to 5 PM, and that's not including the other hours that the store is open. Since the store opens at 7 AM and closes at 9 PM almost every day of the week, you can actually get 14 hours of dog care, which comes in handy if you're having an extra long day. If you buy a 20 pack of days, the price of a full day that is up to those 14 hours goes down to less than $17.50 for a day. That's much cheaper than paying for a single day by itself, because you save about 15% off the cost of the 20 days when you buy the package. (And for every 10 days you get one free day, so that's 2 free days for a total of 22 days for about $384.) Also, the staff here has really gotten to know my pup and they love her and treat her really well. Training: Personally, I give this aspect of the store a 3/5. However, a friend whom I've been going to trainings with believes it to be a solid 4/5, so I've increased my score. I've had quite a bit of trouble training my pup here, but I believe that's a combination of my dog's stubbornness and me being not that great of a trainer, even with PetSmart trainers' help. Store: Usually very neatly stocked and the best part is that they price match items from their competitors. Always a 5/5 when stores offer to price match. Plus, you get points for every dollar you spend, which leads to more money off later on. Can't go wrong there. read more

This review is in regards to the way I saw a groomer handling another dog, while I was waiting in the salon for my dogs' nail services. I brought all three of my dogs in for nail grinding and was mostly satisfied with the service and very satisfied with my groomer. I was very upset by the way another groomer was handling a dog being groomed while I waited in the salon for my dogs to be finished with their services. The employee was a young female with dark reddish hair and a nose ring. She was cutting the hair of a dog with longer facial fur and repeatedly kept ripping the comb through the tangles of his facial hair so hard, the dog yelped and cried out numerous times. Despite the dog clearly being in pain, she kept ripping through and yelling at the dog to stop, when he was wriggling around because he was in pain. If a hair stylist was doing the same thing to me, I would scream! Because of this, I will NEVER have my dogs groomed here, nor will I ever recommend it. Update: I called the store the next day to report what I saw and spoke to a manager who was very unfriendly. He did seem somewhat concerned, but was not at all reassuring. read more

OK, it is easy to get emotional about a place your kids or pets might be getting cared for at, but I can't recommend taking your dog here for grooming or the pet hotel unless you secretly hate your dog. Our experience was that the prices were high and the service was just OK, but it was convenient and a big brand, so there was some assurance about a basic level of quality. We left recently to take a weekend trip and left our dog in the hotel. She came back with kennel cough. We called the manager, said he would call us back. No reply. 2 weeks later we call again, he apologized said we had to bring in receipts to get reimbursed. We bring in receipts get a different manager who lied to us (that or the other manager did) about no reimbursements for kennel cough. Moreover, they have to call all the dog owners if kennel cough is reported by one of the dogs. Nothing. Our dog lost half of its (admittedly small) weight while at the hotel. the fact that the managers lied, and are avoiding doing any actual work (ie: alerting the other dog owners) makes it clear to me that you should never take your dog here. We would give the right kennel/grooming center $1,000 a year of business all in between our trips and such. Pet-tard won't ever see a dime of our money again. read more

This review is for the Pets Hotel. We boarded our 2 dogs for here for 5 days while we were traveling, and I was very nervous about leaving them as we don't ever board them. If we have to be away, we typically get a pet sitter. But, circumstances this time did not allow it. That said, I was very happy with the Pets Hotel service. Everyone who works there was friendly with both us and our dogs, from the time we checked them in, our daily phone calls to check up on them, and when we picked them up. They were also very understanding of my nervousness about leaving them and pointed out the "suite" they were staying in through the window so that I could see. I, being a nervous pet mama, called twice a day to check on how they were doing. The staff was incredibly patient with me, and often the person I talked to knew exactly what dogs I was talking about and could answer my questions without checking records. We paid for individual play time each day rather than choosing the group play option, as I don't particularly trust other dogs I don't know. When we arrived to drop them off, I was very glad we chose that option. There are two different play rooms, one for smaller to medium sized dogs and one for large dogs(based on what it appeared like to me). Both rooms were pretty chaotic, and I personally would not trust putting my dog in there during group play for fear they would get hurt. We also paid for a bigger "suite" for them to share, brought their two fleece blankets for comfort, and brought their treats so that they got "extras" while there. The whole stay, with all of the "upgrades", was quite pricey. But, it was worth it, as our dogs were clean, happy, and visibly well taken care of when we came to pick them up. It was clear that the people working there cared about the dogs and about doing their job well, which was nice to see. Overall, we would definitely board our dogs here again if we ever had the need. read more

This is not my regular petsmart store, but I was in the area and thought I would check a few things. Since we have two cats and few fish, I shop in this kind of store often. One thing that bothered me was that, within a few minutes we were in the store looking at a large aquarium, a man came to me and asked if I needed something? I get it, I have a very edgy look, but I wasn't gonna put a 55 gallon tank under my shirt. Since I did have questions, I asked him, and we answered abruptly and was almost short with us. This purchase will be a big thing for us and we need to know all the details ahead, before making mistakes. So I continued asking more questions. The man looked at me, then turned around and called another employee who came and stayed with us til we knew everything we wanted. The man left and never excused himself or said good bye. The girl knew what to say and was clearly knowledgeable about fish tanks and such. Overall, I find the store disorganized and with too many things everywhere. To give an example, we were there August 14th and already they had Halloween merchandising everywhere??? WHY??? read more

I absolutely love PetSmart for my dog Maddie's haircut. But, on July 12th we took my cat Gabby to the cat hotel. When we picked her up on July 20th, her tail was swollen and whenever u touched it she would meow. So we took her to the vet and it turned out that she had an infection in her tail. To all of u pet owners, NEVER put ur pets in the hotels. read more

This is a review for the grooming service. I took my cat in for a sanitary trim as his long fluffy fur had formed mats in the rear area. While the groomer and assistant were friendly and polite (which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1), the job that was done fell way short. The groomer barely removed any fur from the rear area, and large mats still remain. I didn't get a chance to inspect my cat before he was placed back in his carrier and the groomer ran out to take care of a dog in the hotel (??), or else I would have insisted on a closer trim. read more

I have left my Malshi at the Langhorne PetSmart Hotel, and have had her groomed at their salon. The employees have been fantastic! They are kind, friendly, helpful, and clearly love animals. My dog, Bella, has always come home very happy after her stay at the hotel. I find the store to be very organized, clean, and eager to please customers. On more than one occasion the store manager has come over to ask if he could help us find something. He even tried different harnesses on my dog, so she would have the proper fit. When I left Bella at the Hotel, the manager of that department spent extra time with her because she was whining to play! Great job, PetSmart! read more

Prices are high. When you buy live insects, sometimes half dead. Bought a box and it was empty and they wouldn't issue a refund or replace (blaming the virus) but kept the empty box we brought back to the store. Pretty sure that defeats the purpose but oh well. Found out amazon has freeze dried food for 2/3 less than prices here. read more

I don't have children yet, I do however have my four legged baby that I absolutely love and adore. I typically prefer to stay away from big box type stores, but upon being in a pinch with past issues at a pet sitter and having no one to watch my coco for a trip I decided to give the Petsmart hotel a shot. I was concerned with the smaller indoor daycare area and wasn't sure my young pup would even tire herself out. I have to say all around this place far exceeded my expectations. They are clean, professional and extremely friendly. It's nice cuz you can go in even if something last minute comes up and I've never had an issue with availability. They also offer some sort of valet service during the work day but I have never used it. Upon picking up my girl she passed out on the ride home which let me know she had a great time. They give you a "pawgress report" with update on how your pet did and it also includes future coupons. This is now my regular spot and coco goes often for doggie day care or boarding. She is always happy to go in wagging her tale and excited to see the workers. They know her now by name which really gives going there a personal touch. The manager, Susie who is often there is amazing. She loves on coco and also did her nails personally our last trip when I expressed concern since coco has gotten very upset in the past when her nails were trimmed or ground down. Only drawback to the hotel is I wish there was an outdoor play area for my girl to run. The store overall has any and all pet needs, they also offer classes, grooming, and an attached ban field pet hospital which is very convenient. This is now my place- they have fair pricing, special discounts and offers, and best of all an excellent staff that I fully trust with my little girl. read more

My dog is eight and I've never needed to board her until now. I had originally set her up at another boarding facility but got a really bad vibe when I took her to a pre boarding trial half day. I cancelled that reservation and called Petsmart's Hotel and spoke to the assistant manager, Suzie. She assured me that my dog would be kept safe and healthy and that they were fully staffed even with COVid and 24 hours/day. She made me feel very good about choosing them. I just picked my dog up from her stay and she's happy, healthy, and clean (I got her an exit bath). They gave me a lot of good feedback about her and the staff were very friendly and chill, yet they definitely have an air of confidence. I recommend them and would use them again. Thank you PetsHotel! staff! read more

Today I brought my 2 dogs in, one for grooming and the other for a nail trim and bath. I have used their groomer in the past and had always been satisfied, but today I spent close to $30 on a dog bath and an incomplete nail trim. The groomer stated my dog was "too stressed out" and she couldn't complete trimming more than 1 paw. But, she didn't have a problem charging me full price for a service that was not completed. I ended up leaving there and going directly to a small business groomer in the area. They took me right away and completed the trimming in a flash! I will never go back to Petsmart groomers again. They have lost my business. read more

I feel I should give this PetSmart more than average rating because it is larger, has a vet in house, has training, day care and hotel/boarding. I put my dog in day care here a couple times as a last minute resort. Both times he came out happy and they gave me a report card of what he did. But they did not give a tour of the place so I have no idea if he really played all day like they claimed on the report or if he was just kenneled. But he didn't seem mistreated so I guess everything is ok. The staff was friendly but seemed to need some coaching on how to properly hold/handle my dog. Or I am just crazy over-protective. So we will round up from a 3.5 to a 4. read more

I go to this PetSmart for the Pets Hotel. They have great hours and treat my older Boxer very well. He gets playtime with the small dogs and a suite where they attend to his medical and dietary needs. My only concern is that he comes home with little aggravated hot sp read more

This store and Newtown are the highest priced ones in the Bucks County PA and Mercer County area. Price gouging galore. Their Authority cat food is overpriced by 30¢ can, and $5 a bag. Cheaper tout at NJ stores or online. Plus the help is nasty. Watch out for the "manager" with blue hair. Looks and acts totally unprofessional. I run a rescue and receive no discount for the volume of things I buy. I am reporting these locations to the Attorney General s office. If you call their 800 # they don't answer any questions or complaints and refer u back to the store manager who when asked about zone pricing pretends he knows nothing. read more

This review is for the Pets Hotel. At first I started bringing my dogs there because I was comfortable with the big brand name but now my husband and I drive out of our way when necessary to get our dogs to this location. I have been a frequent customer for a couple of years and I am always pleased with the way that my 2 dogs (mutts) are treated. I have to admit, I am a crazy pet parent and I always feel that my dogs are safe, well fed and happy. The staff are always genuinely excited to see my dogs and go out of their way to make sure they are comfortable (for example, one time I got there to drop them off and found out that they were planning on moving them to a bigger room after a couple of hours when one was available since they were staying together). They don't do tours but there are big windows so you can easily see where the dogs stay and where they play during the day camp hours. They always give out report cards to let you know how your dog did (and they are honest when your dog doesn't do so well which I think is great because, let's face it, no one's perfect ;)). read more

Apparently Tetra ( fish supply manufacturer ) is starting to make new models of Tetra Smart brand but they have a twist, the old versions had flow controls so you can slow(during feeeding) and speed up after to clean up afterwards. The new version EX no longer has that control. We had bought some baby hybrid goldfish and needed that control. We had bought a Smart 20 and the motor was stuck at slow speed and I wanted another. Levittown/Tullytown store sold me their last one and their warehouse was out so I called here to see if they did, spoke to Brooke who said they did so i hustled over but she had pulled the EX model & it took smaller filter cartridges than I had so we went back in store & thankfully one was left but it had been openned but everything was there so I took it & thank god it worked. So thank you Fairless Hills Petsmart, you saved my tail. Also noticed that they had adjusted prices to reflect other locations $, not right to charge some more than others. Good move. read more

I boarded my dog from 11/11/16 to 11/13/16 at the Fairless Hills location. When I took my dog, he was very healthy. Upon picking him up, he was not able to keep any food down, and has diarrhea terribly. I just took him to the vet (the very next morning after picking him up) and he required fluids due to how dehydrated he was. I supplied his food so this illness cannot be blamed on this. I should have been told that my dog was ill. The level of dehydration he experienced is unacceptable. Additionally, when I picked him up no one was cleaning up the fecal matter in the smaller pet room. There was an attendant in the room holding a puppy but ignoring large puddles of urine on the floor. I watched four other dogs traipse through the urine. I was standing there for over 10 minutes. This is also why dogs can get sick. Not telling the owner about the illness is unacceptable as he was exhibiting signs of illness the second I picked him up. I should be compensated for my stay at the hotel and my vet bill. read more

The pets hotel I wouldn't recommend to anyone. My dogs went here four times and on the fourth time an incident occurred where I was not notified by phone call! I should have received a phone call immediately after the incident happened, not a day later when I called to check up on them!!! Was told there was no phone call because the manager was not on duty, they were short handed and running around like crazy an only the manager can make that call, like really? It was a holiday weekend how are you short handed with no manager??? There should be no reason I did not get a call. After the incident they are trying to tell me my dog is aggressive towards males which is ridiculous, they didn't raise him since he was eight weeks old an don't no his behaviors at home, he's around men all the time how is he aggressive towards men? Not going to let people who feed dogs for a living that don't know what they are talking about tell me how my dog really is. He's been there many times and the same people handle him at this hotel. Makes no sense. The manager is extremely rude, ignorant and unprofessional. My dogs will not return and don't recommend thus place to anyone. read more
