We bought a used car knowing the AC was not blowing cool air. Spent a lot of time looking at reviews for auto repair shops near us and after looking over the reviews for this place decided to give it a try. Went over and talked with the manager, Justin, and he made us feel very confident that we would be well taken care of with our car being serviced here. We were so happy with the diagnosis that did not cost a fortune to fix! Car is cooling nicely and one other item taken care for a light that was displayed on the dash. I had requested a written estimate which they sent to us after diagnosing and that is exactly what we paid when picking the car up. Now we will use this place for both of our cars for service since we were so well take care of for service required. I and my family have been taking my cars to John Wilhelm at Centerville Automobile for years. Great service, honest and reasonably priced. Recently my brother said he thought there was something wrong with my truck engine. I took my truck in. John did a diagnostic and drove the truck. He couldn't find anything wrong. No charge. I challenge anybody to take their vehicle elsewhere any get such honest treatment. I love John. read more

Very disappointed. My Dad took his truck to have things fixed and not only are there still major issues, they were not even told about these issues. My parents are elderly and I feel that he was taken advantage of very badly. It's truly a shame that this type of thing happens as often as it does. I would not recommend this shop nor am I happy about the service or lack there of my Dad received when trying to get repairs done. A lot of money was paid and the result was a large amount of repairs still needed and even more costs. Make sure you do your research on any auto shop especially when there are those that only want the money no matter who it is. read more

We were getting ready to drive the car about 300 miles on a weekend trip. I took my car to them for a simple oil change and they notices a major issue during the inspection of the driveshaft. They changed the oil and replaced / resolved the issue with the drive shaft and I am back on the road. Had i taken my car to a quick oil place the issue probably would not have been discovered and we might have broken down on the highway. Thanks Guys for your attention to the fine details. read more

They did a great job figuring out why my car kept losing rpm. Found a broken seal and was able to get me back on the road within a couple of days! My check engine light came on while driving to work. I really wanted to check the code for the light, and the first auto center I talked to on the phone didn't offer to. When I called Centerville Automotive, they offered to have it checked immediately and see what to do from there. They were able to check the light as soon as my car got to the shop via tow truck. They called me up and are completely honest about the situation, in that they could look into things further but it would most likely be covered by my warranty if I took it to my dealer. I took my 2002 Chevy S-10 to Centerville Automotive for new shock absorbers. Upon inspection, Caleb, the service writer told me it needed a new idler arm. I said okay. When I picked the vehicle up and started to drive home I noticed that the steering wheel was not centered. I called Caleb back and told him and he said to come back in. Well, I had already spent most of my day off with this repair so I went back. I waited about an hour and Caleb called me back into the shop. He said that the reason the steering wheel was off center was because the steering gearbox was worn and this was the best they could do. Well, I knew he was full of it, so on my next day off I took the truck to Firestone (where I should have gone in the first place). They did a front end alignment on it and it drove perfect. I'm glad I had a lifetime front end alignment agreement with Firestone. I wrote a letter of complaint to the owner of Centerville Automotive and he did refund some money but he also tried to tell me that had just installed new front end alignment equipment and were having trouble getting it calibrated. Which means they knew that they were using faulty equipment on my truck but did it anyway and lied about the reason my steering wheel was off center. I did notice that their business was pretty slow so I now know why. Go anywhere else, these people lied to me at least twice. read more

These guys are the best! I got updates with everything that was happening with my car from Rob and always was honest with answering my questions! They were also the only shop in the Centerville area that would look at my 86 C4 Corvette! They did not only get it running again but would go the extra step to let me know other things that would help the car run better and would physicaly point them out to me under the engine! My car I gave them was a project car that I knew wasnt going to be done extremely fast but they still fixed so many items and a nice time window!
