We needed some work done on our chimney and a woodstove insert installed. After having a bad experience with another company for the other chimney in our house, we decided to go with Centerpoint Chimney. I can't say enough about how smoothly everything went! Noah and his crew were excellent. Very honest and professional about everything. I loved how quickly we could schedule the work to be done! Noah is the owner and he came out to our house himself to do the inspection I had requested and give us a quote for the work to be done. It was way less expensive than the previous company we had gone with. And I can tell you the quality of work Centerpoint Chimney does was much much better. They always asked if I had any questions and told me if I thought of any later I could always call them. On the day we had scheduled, Noah and his crew arrived bright and early and ready to work. Everything was very organized and professional. They were all very friendly -even with my toddler running around. I can't believe how efficiently they worked as everything to be done was finished in just a few hours. My chimney and new woodstove are beautiful! You wouldn't even have known they had been there; my house was left so clean. One of the workers even cleaned my yard while they were packing up! What service! :) I would recommend them to anyone! Wonderful company!!! As for those other negative reviews on here I wonder if they tried to contact Centerpoint Chimney to resolve their issues. We have never received a call from you with your concerns and I would personally love to clarify any questions or concerns you have with the workmanship that was done at your house. The liners we install are warrantied through your lifetime and the next home owner. We take very serious the level of integrity and honesty we approach every job with and would like to resolve any problem or concern you have with our workmanship or quality of product we used at your property. I can assure you that no corners were cut in the installation of your liner as this is an owner run business and I am personally on sight at the installation. Also you can rest assured that no flue gas is leaking from the flue, however the stainless steel liner cures over the first couple of burns and emits a small amount of smoke in its curing process just as a new wood stove would. Also when breaking out flue tiles, as a courtesy we always inform the customer of the potential of a second day needed for time as there is no way of knowing how long they will take to break out. I just had Centerpoint over to clean my chimneys for the winter season 2015. They did an excellent job. They even cleaned up my wood stove and made it look really nice when they were all done. I had been referred to their website and saw how professional they were and all the good reviews they had gotten. But when I spoke to the owner, he said he was having some issues with yelp not allowing people to give good comments about his company. So I told him I would write a comment up and we will see what happens. I looked at his company reviews and saw that there were a LOT that had been blocked from being "recommended." I am really surprised that yelp would do that. I watched their video thing on how they choose reviews, it sounds nice but in this case it seems extremely bias towards the negative. I would just give people a "heads up" there are other reviews at the bottom of the page that Yelp decides are not recommended. You can click on the link and read them still. This is a great company and it is a shame that they are not getting the visible credit for the good job that they do. jn read more

I am really surprised at the ratings I am seeing here for Centerpoint Chimney. I am new to yelp and wanted to put credit where it is due! My wife and I have been VERY PLEASED with the work we had done by Centerpoint Chimney! We had two liners put in,some caps put on our chimney, a woodstove installed, as well as several regular cleanings now. I completely appreciated the family friendly atmosphere every time we have had work done (I don't feel the need to worry about my kids overhearing any foul language). The team is always in a good mood and in my estimation the work is always superior craftmanship. The work is always done quickly and efficiently with no mess left over! In fact the last time they were here they took incredible care to leave our woodstove area looking MUCH better than they found it! We are so glad to have found Centerpoint Chimney. As much as the work was exceptional, the best part was observing his business practices. I was in business for over 40 years and I know what it takes to run a first class operation.
