Always on the ball and always friendly. They will fill partials and let you come back to get remaining. Walgreens doesn't.

I didn't stop shopping at Walmart because of one bad trip, I stopped because the experience slowly became worse every single time I went. I've shopped at Walmart for years, so this review comes from long experience, and a noticeable decline over time. During the remodel they added thousands of new products, packed in more shelving, and narrowed the aisles to the point where two shopping carts can barely pass. Finding anything has become a frustrating scavenger hunt. Yes, they have an app -- but it's slow, inconsistent, and not much help when you're already standing in a crowded aisle. Product selection has also gotten worse. Items that used to come in small, medium, and large now often skip the medium size entirely. If that's what you need, you're simply out of luck. Quality control has also slipped badly. I regularly see bread on shelves past the pull date, loaves with partially open wrappers that are already dried out, and yogurt singles stuffed into cartons where only the outside package shows a date -- leaving you guessing how old the product inside actually is. The meat department has become especially disappointing. Cuts are loaded with gristle and fat, and the quality is far below what I expect from a major grocery retailer. The bakery is overloaded with products -- so much inventory that it's hard to believe everything can possibly stay fresh long enough to sell. Produce is another problem. Fruits and vegetables are often limp, bruised, or slimy. Carrots bend easily instead of snapping fresh. Bananas are frequently overripe. Grapes and berries often contain spoiled pieces that ruin the entire package. The final straw came this weekend. After spending more than two hours shopping with two full carts, we ended up with a very inexperienced cashier who stacked heavy canned goods on top of soft fruit and mixed raw meats with produce. Then everything was packed into thin paper bags that tear if they hold more than a few pounds. By the time we got home, several bags ripped open while unloading, scattering groceries everywhere -- including a broken jar of jelly. Delivery has been just as frustrating. Orders arrive on time -- but at the wrong house. Customer service told us to check with neighbors and retrieve the delivery ourselves. One time that meant hauling multiple heavy cases of water back home. The response we got was simply to remove the tip and end the call. Unfortunately, this has happened more than once. At this point, we've already stopped buying meat at Walmart, and we're close to ending our regular grocery shopping there altogether. The "New Walmart" may be their vision of improvement, but for us it has meant lower quality, more frustration, and a much worse shopping experience. What's disappointing is that none of these issues alone would have driven us away. It's the steady accumulation of small frustrations -- declining quality, harder shopping conditions, and weaker customer service -- that finally changed our habits. We didn't set out to stop shopping at Walmart; we simply realized one day that the experience no longer felt worth it.

This store is gonna be my go-to all-in-one place. We moved to Ridgecrest 5 days ago and have been to Walmart 3-4 times already because they have so many of the items we need for ourselves or our pets. Walmart's shelves are never as "zoned" as I'd like them to be but with how many items they sell, maybe that's asking for the impossible. Our favorite cashier is Candy (blue specs and lovely attitude). She has made us feel welcomed each time. I think this may be the nicest Walmart I have ever experienced.

After I had called ahead to set up the exchange in advance. And then they were abusive to me on the phone when I tried to straighten everything out. I'm weak from days of fasting and a surgery I had undergone about 20 hours previous. Neighbor asks me to get his O2 bottle exchanged while I'm out and he called these folks to insure it was OK. I didn't feel up to it, but agreed since he couldn't drive and the lady on the phone said it was no problem. I heard the lady say, "Just bring it in and give his name and we'll swap it for you." I went in with the tank, explained I was exchanging for (friend's name) and the lady asked "Birth Date?" "I have no idea, the lady on the phone had simply said give his name and they would swap, that was 20 minutes before." I am dizzy and weak and made some exclamations "I have no time for this BS" as I called my neighbor. As I got hold of him an overtly aggressive shortish man came out and started telling me I was 'breaking the law', I gave the phone to him and he yelled at my neighbor for several minutes. This is scaring the hell out of me. I'm very weak and about the faint, I lean on the counter and shortly I realize I'm on my knees. The 'tough guy' begins telling me to get up, get out and stop acting (believe me, it was no act) finally asked them to call an ambulance. I had began deep breathing, shut him out, closed my eyes and after a while was able to stand. Soon a new lady with brown hair came out, brought me the canister and I left. I was grateful she had called him off. After my appointment I dropped by the Police department and made sure they were aware of the rampant hostility expressed. I'm no expert, but I've been around steroid abusers enough to be wary of this place. We're getting our friend his own compressor now to keep from having to deal with this anymore. Probably a nice place if it didn't have a hot head bouncer with no ability to converse. He does a nice "POPEYE" muscle flex and he admittedly scared the hell out of me... Anyway, local monopoly or not, we'll not darken their door sill again.

Susan Jimenez So I…read moregot transferred from Barstow Hospital to Las Vegas for gallbladder issue because there were no rooms available in the area or down the hill. If you've ever had gallbladder issues you know the pain. So the Dr I saw there wrote me a prescription for pain pills. He gave me 20 to last a bit until I could see my primary once I got home. So I call the pharmacy the day after I got back to Barstow because I got back late the night before from Sunrise Hospital in Vegas. I ask what was ready. I was told I had 3 ready and also told them I didn't want one of them. I was NEVER told the amount of pills in each bottle EVER.When my husband got back with them I took the medication out of the bag and instead of 20 pain pills I got 7. Was NEVER told this over the phone that my insurance would only cover 7 nor was my husband told there was only 7 when he pick it up. So I call to ask why I only got 7 when I was supposed to get 20 and was told my prescription plan only wanted to cover 7, and she insisted that we were told this over the phone and upon my husband picking them up which is a flat out lie. Wish I knew who I talked to because I would have post the liers name. One thing I can't tolerate is a lier. I told her that they need to talk to their employees and whoever answered the phone because apparently their not doing their job right. I then told her if I would have known I would have paid cash.....now listen to this line of bullshit....she tells me since I have insurance I CAN'T pay cash like I'm some Fkn idiot that doesn't know better. I don't have to use my insurance for any fkn prescription I get and can cash if I want. I tell her that's a bunch of crap because I've paid cash before in the same kind of situation at Right Aid because she had told me NO pharmacy in Barstow would let me pay cash since I have insurance...LMFAO! Well she tells me Rite Aid is a chain and that's different...now I've just put my boots on because the bull shit is coming through the phone....oh really now? Then Prescription Shoppe had let me pay good Ole cash before too. Well the only reason we were at Teplow Drug anyways was because Rite Aid sent everyone's information there when they closed....we are definitely changing pharmacies because like I said....one thing I can't tolerate is a bull shit lier and she really though I was STUPID enough to believe her crap....lady you have me confused with one of your other customers that actually believes you BS! Yup...they walk amongst us! P.S. Teplow Drugs My Sucralfate Liquid wasn't covered....and guess what? We paid CASH! Plus we told you to order it since I really needed it for my abdominal pain and was told it would be in the next day. Next day I call and was told...We didn't order it because it wasn't covered. Ummmm we told you to order it and we would pay the $65 cash and now I'm being told it wasn't ordered? So once again we're told it will be there the next day at which we wanted to cone down and pay for it to make sure I could get some stomach relief!
