She passed at 97 and still under their care. Then my Husband's Parkinsons disease became to difficult for me to care for him and they told me they would take care of him. It was a blessing. They showed such care and understanding. He was there 5 months and during those months they gave him such great care. The last months were very difficult but they continued caring for him until his passing. They were a blessing and I have nothing but great things to say about them!

The staff is kind and caring and treats the residents with dignity and respect. Each resident is treated like a beloved family member and it shows. My mother's physical and mental health improved in their care and I always feel grateful for the level of service they provided. When my mother went on hospice services, the staff was an integral part of managing her care. The ratio of residents to care givers here cannot be found at the larger, corporate facilities. If I needed to find care for another loved one, they would be my first call.

All of a sudden Bakersfield had no openings and we had to keep my father in kern village because they gave away his bed again. Do not by any means let this place or its affliates take care of told elderly family. My father has dementia and they took his dementia related behavior personally even though they claim to be a memory care facility. Terrible experince all together. The food is quite good, and the kitchen is accommodating with special requests. The facility is clean and the rooms have adequate space. Most importantly, we have been impressed with the involvement between staff and the residents. We had a medical emergency, and I know for a fact that due to the quick action of the staff, our family member received the care she needed and has been making a remarkable recovery.
