I don't live in Ridgecrest so I called the number in spite of the fact it didn't mention it was a hospital number. I was told the Clinic was across the street from the hospital. I arrived on time to the Medical Office but all the doors were locked. There was a frail elderly man trying to gain access also. I called the number and told the receptionist I couldn't gain access to the building. She sarcastically said we have been seeing patients all day. I clarified the building was across the street from the Hospital and in front of the Marriott. I finally gave up and hung up on her. Someone else called back and gave an address of a street name I couldn't pronounce and certainly couldn't couldn't spell. She told me to put the address in my smart phone. I am a senior citizen and I can't see the screen of my phone in the sun. After driving over 2 hours to get to the appointment I just had to leave. This whole epic could have been avoided if they would have texted me an address and an appointment verification. The elderly man that was there also just left. Unbelievably poor patient service. I hope the Dr is aware the poor quality of the staff is preventing him from seeing patients

Thank you to all the members of Staff in the ER. I appreciated you this morning.

They took me in before my appointment time which is the opposite of what used to happen. Today Physician Assistant Chantelle Utey took care of me today. She is extremely professional, knowledgeable, caring, confident, polite, and made me feel like I was back in South Orange County. Omni must be under new management because this is not the Omni I remember. If you are a new managager; thank you for doing a great job. I would have given a five star rating; but I have to see consistent service from future visits to verify that this was not a one time exception. The nurse who took my blood today found the vein the very first time as was very professional. Thank you all for great service!

This is the second time this has happened. The first time it was to get refills for 2 medications. I drove to the Ridgecrest office and when I told receptionist she made me check in, then nurse came out, took info down, and called me shortly after to tell me that the NP I see wasn't comfortable writing either Rx & wanted me to see Psychiatrist. I have been taking antidepressants for over 25 years, and I had no refills left. I don't know why she didn't write Rx for 1 month to give me time to see my Dr. My primary Dr. told me I had to get bloodwork first & then would write Rx after that at follow up appointment. I have been out of my Sertraline for 4 days. It is an antidepressant, NOT a narcotic. Do these people realize how BAD it is to go off of antidepressants for any length of time? That's what causes people to go postal!
