There is a candy shop that is cool, though the Pokemon cards cost double what they should. A souvenir shop with local gear, also overpriced ... $50 for t-shirt. They do keep the place clean and there are security guards patrolling. It's still a great place to run/bike, admire the view/water and there are pedal boats. But, if you are planning a day trip to downtown Baltimore, don't waste your time coming to these buildings. Instead, explore the outside, the science center and the aquarium.

Decorated for the holidays, visiting at nighttime or during the evening is a pretty neat and eye-caching experience, even if it's to window shop. Has an organic whole foods type of supermarket, Starbucks store, barbershop, restaurants and other typical stores. Mostly expensive stores though (that's why I would only go again for window shopping), bit it's a nice shopping center to visit when nearby.

I found my dream dress, but it had stains on the shoulder. I ask for a possible discount and I was told no but I can tell you how to get that stain out. Are you kidding me? I had to dig through so many racks, that weren't even my size to find this dress and this is the response that I get. The service at checkout also horrendous. I walk up to the cashier. She says absolutely nothing I pay and she just folds up the garment and puts it in front of me with the receipt on top. I had to ask for a bag and she rolled her eyes and charged me the five cents for the back put the garment in the bag and just gave it to me no thank you nothing. I am never going back to this location. I feel like I go back once a year and I realize why I hadn't gone in so long.

National anchors include Gabe's and JCPenney, with local businesses occupying other anchor spaces. The interior is filled with many local businesses, some of which have started closing sales. It has a food court that was busy during my stop and still has food stands. The mall does have a basement, which has office space, and Ultrazone Baltimore, a Lazer tag place that also has arcade machines. Office space also exists above the food court, but that was largely empty. The condition of the mall overall was good with the plants still being watered. While the mall does look dated, I could find no reason the owners would want to shut it down. This is an alive, almost vibrant mall that by the end of August will be no more. It's a real shame.

It's a sad shell of a space now. To think there used to be penguins and monkeys there. Eastpoint is now a popular local meme: "If Eastpoint Mall hasn't given up neither should you"... However, several stores and kiosks are still decorated for Christmas and it's August, so I don't know about the "not giving up" part. I have never seen so many downtrodden employees, lounging in empty stores, scrolling aimlessly through their phones. They know no one is coming to save them from the relentless boredom. Someone will rob one of the jewelry stores, if they're lucky. There are three food stalls in the food court: a Japanese place that doesn't give samples (I grew up having sample givers chase us through half the food court), a chicken box/fish spot, and the pizza place that has been there since the dawn of time. Nothing substantial. Definitely nothing that could be called a national chain. Want a cheeseburger? You're going to have to leave the mall and walk across the parking lot to McDonald's. JC Penney is the only anchor store, which never bodes well. Value City is gone. I swear my mom must have bought 90% of her furniture there. Remember when there was an Ames there? Or the Kmart? There's a haunted house in that space now. How very Dundalk. What other mall do you know that has a haunted house in it? There wasn't anything that I particularly wanted to buy out in the mall. I like to take a spin through about once a year. Watch the slow decay of yet another happy memory of my childhood (we used to go to the Friendly's there - it was across from the Brass Hen - and that's where I learned I love black raspberry ice cream, for example). I won't be surprised when it finally closes. I'll be sad, but that's the fall of capitalism for you. It's a race to the ultimate finish line between Eastpoint and Marley Station in Glen Bernie. It'll be interesting to see which survives the longest.

Overall, Harbor Place has good bones and I wonder if said bones will survive the planned upgrades to the area. If so, my recommendation is to do a facade update - paint, perhaps add some new cheap flooring? Good bones don't hide that Harbor Place is looking a little down and needs a quick hit of makeup. The owner was so nice and accommodating. She was recommending stuff for us to try on the whole time. The prices vary. All of their stuff are gems from vintage coats, blouses, dresses, tops, jackets you name it they have it. I had fun coming here on my trip and it was definitely one of my highlights. I even copped a cute little mood ring and it was cool because I never see those around anymore lol

VIP is the way to go. Unlimited crabs, corn on the cob and coleslaw. Full beer pours. Also wine for you non beer drinkers. It was pretty good. Checked out the other vendors. We had a really nice time. Lots of seating available under VIP . This is my husband Birthday Weekend. I like to treat him to this. He loves it! We are crab connoisseurs. They also have an evening session from 5-9 pm. This is a Annual event. Definitely worth checking out.
