I have taken some Pilates lessons before, and they are of no comparison in quality and level of attention I get with Veronique. She is explaining the exercises in detail, and making sure you are doing them right. Veronique is very patient and understanding of personal goals, needs and abilities, and will adjust and find exercises that suite you. She shows how to do all the exercises correctly, and making sure you don't hurt yourself! She is constantly bringing some new interesting elements and diversifying the training so it never gets boring. Every lesson is quite different from another, although, there are some core elements that remain the same, that are central to Pilates, which I find just great. I have been taking her classes once a week for a year now, and I really enjoy them. I have learned a great deal, and feel a huge improvement with my lower back pain and in my abdominal strength. In addition, Veronique is a very pleasant and gentle person, it's a real pleasure and fun to do an hour workout in her caring company. The studio itself and the setting are absolutely stunning. It's all brand new and very modern, with lots of light, windows, beautiful and peaceful outdoor environment of Moon Hill. Quite unique...

Allie was exceptional and very knowledgeable and so thrilled I had a chance to take a private pilates reformer class with her! The very first thing she does is train breathwork with each movement and her cuing is simple, direct and super easy to follow. It was a sweaty yet fun 50 minutes of an intense full body reformer workout and I finished the session feeling invigorated and rejuvenated! Allie was meticulous with taking COVID precautions as we were the only ones in the studio and she was very diligent with sanitizing before and after. Not only is it bright and airy and a welcoming environment, her personality is so energetic and friendly! Will definitely go back for more reformer sessions and highly recommend her!!

This is probably the cleanest and most classical studio around Boston and I have been coming here for about two years. I skipped the last two months after my duet partner moved to NYC, but now I am back for privates. Okay - there is no beach season this year (yet), but this no excuse to be out of shape. (Okay - A sphere is a shape). I work next to the studio so I lack even the excuse "how do I get there." Besides, parking is not a problem (except around 9 AM when people come to get their cars from the tow lot next door).

As a dance instructor and choreographer for over 28 years, I know how great of a work out Pilates…read morecan be. It is perfectly designed for the dancers body, emphasizing strength, stretch and control, so when my Mom said she had started classes at Mind in Motion Pilates Studio, I felt that I'd like to give it a try as well. Let me just say, I had no idea the transformation that would take place. I had abdominal surgery that left me with very little muscle control. Not only has working with the Mind in Motion instructors increased my core strength, it also helped me regain control I had lost due to my surgery; control my doctors weren't sure I'd ever have again. I went to Mind in Motion hoping to get a bit of a 'work out' and instead transformed my body. Li has a profound understanding of the body and instructs diligently to insure proper placement, breath, and engagement. The staff is knowledgeable and motivating, the studio is spotlessly clean, and the equipment is top notch. If your looking to just 'exercise' then go to a gym. If your looking to learn True Pilates and change your body, then go to Mind in Motion Pilates Studio.

I appreciated the facilities, and the way that the classes were able to flex when the pandemic struck. I gained strength and flexibility, and my health overall improved. However... and it's a *big* however... something odd happened, twice. An instructor mysteriously disappeared, without warning or explanation. I don't recall if I was directed toward a different class or not; I think the class simply dissolved. Around 8-ish months later, it happened again with a different instructor. This time, I recall clearly that a new instructor was quickly "given" the class, but she seemed visibly shaken by her weird, sudden introduction to our class, and the class was never given an explanation of what happened that made any sense. Following this, I reached out to EBP and then located and reached out to one of those instructors and got some insight into their situation. Based on what I learned from the two interactions, I ultimately decided that I no longer wanted to give money to an organization that I couldn't trust to treat its employees, or patrons with as much respect as I felt like they or we deserved.

However, it didn't work for my husband and myself, who despite being a little overweight exercise frequently. The studio proceeded very cautiously with us. We were told that we needed to learn all the moves before we could do anything that would even slightly challenge us. The problem is that the exercises were expensive and took time. And by doing them we weren't doing other exercises that really do challenge us (in our case yoga). After 7 "introductory" lessons with still no plan to get us to a point where we would have even mild muscle fatigue we decided it wasn't worth it.

I am also in the best shape of my life thanks to this studio and the amazing instructors here -- I think they would all make Joe Pilates himself very proud :) Each instructor has her own unique teaching style, which I think highlights how special Pilates is not just as a way to work out, but also as an art form. The manager, desk girls, and instructors here are all so amazing and have made me feel welcome since day one. I highly recommend this studio!

I've never enjoyed working out as much as I did here, and it completely changed how I think about fitness. The small class sizes make such a difference you really get personalized attention. The instructors take the time to give helpful corrections and make sure you're moving safely, which is something I haven't experienced as much at other studios. I've actually been able to apply what I learned here to other workouts, and I can see a huge improvement in both my form and results. Some of my favorite classes were Flow 1.5 and Control 1.5 (I only wish there were more Control 1.5 classes on the schedule!). The instructors Ahram, Jennifer, Bethany, Rachel, and Samantha are all AMAZING. They each bring so much energy, encouragement, and knowledge, and it really shows in every class. Bella, the studio manager, has also been incredibly kind and helpful, especially when it came time to cancel my membership. One of the best perks for me was the variety of class times offered throughout the day, which was perfect since I work from home. The only thing I'll note is that if you prefer morning classes, they can fill up quickly, especially with certain instructors. The membership is definitely an investment, but for me, it was so worth it to learn reformer Pilates in such a welcoming and supportive environment. Overall, I had such a great experience at Club Pilates Burlington and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to learn Pilates in a fun, motivating, and safe space! Hopefully I'll be back soon through drop in classes on ClassPass!

My regular practice with her was a big contributor to my physical and mental well being during some stressful periods that I was not otherwise taking good care of myself. I did duets with her as well as individual classes, and some of her workshops. Helena is kind, funny, and honest. There aren't many people I can start my day with at 7 AM, but she is one. She pushes you to stretch your limits but also encourages you to listen to your body, and watches your body and listens to you. She invests in her equipment and is constantly taking trainings and lessons with other instructors to improve and bring the best back to her clients. She does trigger point massage, which brings the pain and the results. You know that feeling after you chop off several inches of your hair, and your head feels like and you know you look amazing? MY WHOLE BODY FELT THAT WAY. It's uncomfortable but effective. Honestly, I can't say enough good things about Helena, both personally and professionally. I look forward to every session, knowing I will feel stronger and more functionally able. Helena challenges me and, with skill and encouragement, she helps me get stronger, more flexible, more agile, more self-confident in movement. This is very important to me, as a 71-year old, with 2 total knee replacements and a spinal chord injury, who has lots of bad habits from years of obesity and underuse in my relatively recent past. I live in Los Angeles, but am regularly in Cambridge where my new grandson and his parents live. I was blest to work with Helena for 6 weeks straight around when he was born. Now I can't wait to work with Helena whenever I am in town, she is amazing -- and has made a huge difference in my life.
