The installation, created by artists Julie-Christina Picher and Dave Jenniss, includes six luminous dreamcatchers that combine mixed media together with light and sound. Guests are invited to take a seat on curved wooden surface next to the dreamcatcher to immerse themselves in the sound and light display that is unique to each station. These stations are made to represent Atikamekw's six seasons. I always appreciate the ongoing effort at Discovery Green to promote art and offer new attractions for locals and visitors alike. This exhibit was fun to explore, however I found the area beside the dreamcatcher where you are invited to sit to be a bit uncomfortable. I loved the unique sound at each station, activated by motion sensors. I do wish that there was a little more variety with each "season" in terms of variation in the construction or design of the dreamcatcher weave. Take note that this is not a permanent exhibit so be sure to stop by June 26th - September 1st.

So I thought pictures shouldn't be hard to get. But none of the pictures we got from them turned out remotely as gorgeous as the ones we took ourselves the next day when we had a small party there. The downtown lights were muted which I'm perplexed about because it's so bright and there's so much of it out there. My other issue is that we specifically asked for him not to be all up in our faces during the proposal to allow for more privacy and a special moment. But he strong-handed us into making a big scene and deal of it and I say that because during the session I said no and yet he did it anyway. It ended up ruining the proposal and I would have expected more from such a highly rated photographer. That is a once in a lifetime thing and he decided he wanted to ruin it.

This location has roaches, ants, and mice everywhere and the last thing you will want is this getting inside of your merchandise and potentially getting shipped with your merchandise to your customers!! In addition, the warehouse spaces have absolutely NO heating and if you have health issues this is the wrong place for you because you could pass out due to the harsh conditions at any given time! I submitted a compliant regarding this issue and was sent a rude response from management alerting me that they didn't have any AC and don't plan on installing any. I don't recommend this property to my worse enemy! PS if you already have a warehouse here please keep a paper trial of everything!!
