After remodeling my home, I primarily needed help hanging two large (and very heavy) wall mirrors, as well as several large art pieces. Since I just had my place remodeled, I didn't want the 5-10 holes behind each piece of art in my wall trying to hang each piece myself. (You may not see all of the holes in the wall, but you know they are there). I chose John Stuckey with Art Installation Professionals from the recommendation of Jay's Frames in the Heights. Now, I'm a very picky guy, especially when hanging art and mirrors. Each piece needs to be straight, centered and in a specific location. John did a terrific job! He was fast, extremely accurate, and each piece he hung was centered perfectly and straight. John even uses a level to make sure each piece is straight and precise. I had John come to my home twice; once to hang the large mirrors and art, and a second time to hang the smaller ones. Both times were a great experience. Courteous and did a good job. But charged 25-30% over the quoted price. They spent 1 hour at the house doing the job but we got charged 1.5 hr. (Left our house at 10 min after the hour after invoice/payment). Wish I had known I was being charged by the time instead of the quoted price for the job. I would have written the check faster and skipped the chit chat so I wouldn't be billed the additions 0.5 hr for extra 10 min. read more
