Had a preliminary visit to review details for my colonoscopy. Night before my morning appointment, I began drinking the vile but necessary concoction to clean out my colon. The next morning I returned for my procedure. The doctor I had last time retired so Dr. Bernstein was assigned( no pun intended). Professional and nice personnel. I have tremendous anxiety with medical issues. The team could not have been better. Norma (I think? apologize for not remembering names).. the nurse who got me ready was wonderful. The anesthetist was also terrific, her skill and caring manner helped ease my anxiety. Everyone was professional, skilled, and caring. Thank you very much. I received excellent care for my colonoscopy. All of the staff were wonderful including the receptionist, all the nurses, physician and CRNA. Everyone was very friendly and professional. The anesthesia was perfect. I fell asleep fast and woke up feeling great in the recovery room. Highly recommend this place. read more

Fabulous experience here. Although no one *wants* a colonoscopy, it has to be done! The waiting room is spacious and airy, with comfortable seating, and the receptionist was efficient and pleasant. The nursing and anesthesia staff were super kind, reassuring, efficient and skilled! And Dr. Southerland is a great doctor, with a great "bedside manner". All in all, a really good experience for a necessary procedure. Would 100% recommend. read more

Seriously?!!? Drivers must wait or the procedure will be halted? Can't be bothered to offer coffee???!? The receptionist couldn't have been more snarky. The sign says procedures will be "halted if the driver leaves". Apparently customer service isn't part of what this office provides. Sad- find another place for your procedure. read more

I experienced the same issues as others lately - policy is to require the post procedure driver to remain in the waiting room the entire time. If they are going to require this they should run on time, offer comfortable surroundings, and maybe a coffee room or something. Chairs in the waiting room are not comfortable! Can't figure - must have been sued for something that drove a completely non customer centric experience. I hope my wife refuses to use this place in the future. read more

I will not return to this facility for testing. "Daniele" called the day before my procedure and left a message that my appointment time had been changed to earlier in the morning. She did not call my phone, but rather my spouse's phone. He did not hear his phone ring or notice her message until the following morning. So I was obviously late when I arrived. They had my right phone number however to make the original appointment which I was on time for. Not one individual in that office apologized for the miss communication or the inconvenience while they tried to fit me into their later morning schedule. If my physician does not work out of another location, I will change doctors. I am not a difficult person, but I am someone who will not put up with a facility that doesn't care about their patients time. read more

Office procedures are completely for the convenience of the office not the patient. The office did not honor the appointment we made with our doctor's office (11:30) and made us come in at 7 AM. When we arrived we were told the driver could not leave the premises or the appointment would be cancelled. This had NOT been told to us before we arrived. We had planned to make the best of things and have breakfast while we waited. We won't be back. read more

Bitterly disappointed with this place; from the procedure visit through billing. Staff rude and uncaring towards me and an autistic companion to another patient in the center at the same time. Rest room apparently not monitored, not clean feeling, and filled with second~hand tobacco smoke. Waiting for BCBS to finish billing request exchanges with CFE, and they sent quickly to collections. I could pay my other bills, but CFE threw me to the bill collectors faster than anyone else ever has in my 68 years. The person on the phone laughed at me when I complained about getting dinged so quickly compared to other bills for the same day. Going there was a choice my doctor recommended, i will not go there again. I will still use my doctor ~ but not these people. read more

Was told my procedure was 100% covered by my insurance, they then billed it with a different code to what they told my insurance it was going to be and now I have $2,000 in bills. I would not have moved forward with the procedure if I knew this was going to be the cost. On top of that, the anesthesia bill has the incorrect medical billing code (endoscopy with biopsies instead of simple colonoscopy), incorrect referring physician (a doctor I've never heard of), my name is spelt incorrectly and my procedure paperwork has the wrong gender listed. NOTHING is correct and again I would not have done this procedure if I had been given an accurate cost. Best part is no one in the billing department answers the phone or calls back. read more

I had my colonoscopy with Dr. Sutherland a couple months ago. I'm writing this review b/c I feel terrible that I lost the survey page that was in my paperwork and never returned it to their office. I was really happy with my experience. Dr. Sutherland is very friendly, low key and down to earth. I wish I remember the names of the two nurses who cared for me that day. They were rock stars! They put me at ease and were very reassuring that this would be over with before I knew it. The cherry on top was that I received the 'all clear' in terms of no polyps, etc. Thank you everyone! read more

Great staff, on time and made me feel at ease from the day prior phone confirmation until they walked me to the car on my way home. The reception was great over the phone, made recommendations to make my experience comfortable and greeted me professionally. She was very patient with everyone who came in and answered many questions with grace. The nurse Rachel, was kind, compassionate and good at her job. She explained everything and was easy to talk with. The anesthesia assistant was calm and patient while explaining the anesthesia. I was greeted by all the medical staff and was treated gently which helped to make me feel calm. They were very efficient and put me under quickly. I went in for a colonoscopy with Dr. Arun Khazanchi. This modern facility has a very comfortable, roomy, reception area. My appointment was on time and the procedure went smoothly and flawlessly. Every single person I came in contact with was very welcoming, friendly, informative, happy, very professional and nice. They wanted to make sure that I was comfortable and at ease. It is obvious that they work great as team and they enjoy their work. Everything was perfectly run. Great doctor and great facility. They have my highest recommendation! read more

It was my first procedure. I was very nervous but Nurse Judy was the best! Her champagne personality really calmed my nerves. We just hit it off. Everyone was very reassuring and professional. It was like, you will feel very rested, while injecting the anesthesia into my IV. I began to feel lightheaded, decided to close my eyes...Then I heard Nurse Lisa say, It's over. Time to wake up! My honey was there waiting for me. Dr. Lowe is very nice. He did a great job! read more

Dr. Southerland and his staff at the Center for Endoscopy are the absolute best caregivers! I was getting a little anxious waiting for my husband's procedures to be over and the nurses went above and beyond in assuring me that he was fine!! BEWARE IF YOU ARE SELF PAY!!! I received three phone calls (the 1st 2calls I was working..the 3rd I answered)prior to my endoscopy to ensure that I would have the full payment amount of $1,452.02 and it needed to be paid prior to surgery. What they DON'T tell you is, even though you're receiving anesthesia at the time you are having your procedure ITS NOT INCLUDED! They bill you separately for the anesthesia $375! I know places take advantage of insurance companies but to do this to an individual is just awful! Now I still don't know whats wrong and am in debt!! In the papers you sign upon arrival which I thought was just about my medical history, theres one that says "the procedure has POTENTIONALLY 4 separately billable components" there is no cost associated with it. They certainly made sure to call about the $1,452 but don't tell you it WILL (not potentially) cost you much more. They just bill you whatever they want & your life , your credit that suffers!! HOW DECEITFUL!!! Also doctor Matheus showed up 2hrs late for my appointment! That was nice since I was already starving from fastening! The staff during procedure was nice and professional and I had no complications at the time. Just make sure if you choose this place you ask for everything in writing that you're paying for and what you may be billed for so you aren't adding stress to your health problems!! read more

The paperwork provided by Dr. Arun Khazanchi who practices here gives no indication that you should have no water after 7:00 am on the day of the procedure in the paperwork. I am diabetic and was very thirsty and drank a quarter of a glass of water at 7:00 am. The medical staff at the Center gave me hell, but they did the colonoscopy at 9:00 am. When I awoke, I was coughing yellow phlegm violently every ten minutes and continued to do so for the next hours. They never checked up on me and never gave me any medication to deal with the violent coughing. read more
