I have been receiving massages at Milan for many years. The student therapists are all near their…read moregraduation, and every single massage given by them has been wonderful. And the price is so incredibly low that it's hard to believe, ESPECIALLY when compared with all the hotel spa services and private massage salons in the Coachella Valley. But, today was the all-time best. My therapist, Ashlyn, was simply incredible. A real natural with a great "feel" for her craft. I have received hundreds of massages over the years, but this was one of the very best of all of them. When I checked out to pay, I was met by Heather, who was was extremely professional, personable, and efficient, and booked me next week for my next massage with Ashlyn. These two individuals, Ashlyn and Heather, and Milan massage institute in general are all highly recommended! You simply can't go wrong here!

I've been a regular customer at the Milan Institute in Palm Desert and have visited approximately…read more12 times. I've had my hair cut, colored, high lighted, manicures, pedicures, full sets and skin care appointments, and the students have consistently done a wonderful job. My services have always been enjoyable, which is why it's disappointing to write this review. My concern isn't with the students it's with how the advertised senior discount is now being applied. The Milan Institute advertises a 20% Senior/Military Discount on hair, nail, and skincare services. For all of my previous visits, the discount was applied in a way that matched my understanding of the advertisement. However, during my last appointment, I was told the discount only applies to one service on my ticket instead of all eligible services received during the same visit. As a senior on a fixed income, that made a significant difference. My appointments that were typically around $110 increased to more than $160 because of how the discount was calculated. Palm Desert and surrounding areas have a large senior population, and many retirees choose Milan Institute because they believe they're receiving a meaningful senior discount. If the discount is intended to apply only to the highest-priced service on your ticket or only one service per visit, I believe that limitation should be clearly disclosed in the website advertisement so customers know exactly what to expect before booking multiple services. I'm giving two stars because the students continue to provide excellent work, but I want other seniors to be aware that the advertised discount may not be be applied the way they might reasonably expect. I truly hope Milan Institute clarifies its senior discount policy so customers can make informed decisions.

I'm someone who completed the Electrical Program at CET. Even though I had a great relationship…read morewith everyone at the school, I still want to give future students an honest perspective on the program. If you're looking for a program you can complete relatively quickly and you're willing to put in the time and effort to learn the trade, you can succeed here. However, from my experience, you will have to depend heavily on self-learning and help from classmates. I personally felt that the instructors in both the AM and PM classes could have been much stronger in the classroom and more hands-on in the lab. When I first entered the program, I knew absolutely nothing about the electrical trade, so most of what I learned came from putting in the time to teach myself, practice, and learn from my classmates. Another issue was materials. We would sometimes run short on electrical materials and have to wait a while for more to come in. Even when they finally arrived, the amount we were allowed to use was limited, which made it harder to get as much hands-on practice as we should have. I think future students should know is that job placement assistance was not what I expected. The school tells students that they will help with finding employment, and the website mentions "Job Placement Assistance," but in my experience, I had to do most of the job searching and applying on my own. My biggest piece of advice to future electrical students is: once you receive your ET card and OSHA 10, start applying immediately. Don't wait until graduation. Apply everywhere, email electrical companies directly, call companies, and go above and beyond to get your foot in the door. CET can give you an opportunity to enter the electrical trade, but you need to be consistent and willing to teach yourself, practice, ask questions, and actively pursue employment. Your success will depend heavily on how much effort you put into it.

All of the material was taught to us, demonstrated, and tested in a timely matter that provided the students with comfort and confidence. The instructors are very helpful each step of the way, and they are always willing to help those that need a little push in the right direction. CNEI also provides job placement that helped some of the students (including myself) land jobs long before we had even graduated. I am so blessed to have found this school, and I am excited to see where my future takes me. Thank you so much CNEI!

I'm very disappointed with my experience trying to rejoin the LVN program at California Nurses…read moreEducational Institute. I reached out hoping to return, continue my education, and work toward becoming a nurse, but my request to re-enroll was denied. We all face challenges and obstacles that can interrupt our education. Those setbacks do not define our abilities, our commitment, or what we can accomplish when we are ready to return. I had hoped for another opportunity to demonstrate my dedication and move forward. I understand that schools have policies and admission requirements, but I wish there were more room to consider individual circumstances and personal growth. It was discouraging to feel that the door was closed when I was trying to take a positive step toward my future. After this experience, I will no longer be pursuing LVN. My one-star rating reflects my personal experience with the readmission process and how disappointing the outcome was
