And the price is so incredibly low that it's hard to believe, ESPECIALLY when compared with all the hotel spa services and private massage salons in the Coachella Valley. But, today was the all-time best. My therapist, Ashlyn, was simply incredible. A real natural with a great "feel" for her craft. I have received hundreds of massages over the years, but this was one of the very best of all of them. When I checked out to pay, I was met by Heather, who was was extremely professional, personable, and efficient, and booked me next week for my next massage with Ashlyn. These two individuals, Ashlyn and Heather, and Milan massage institute in general are all highly recommended! You simply can't go wrong here!

I've been a regular customer at the Milan Institute in Palm Desert and have visited approximately…read more12 times. I've had my hair cut, colored, high lighted, manicures, pedicures, full sets and skin care appointments, and the students have consistently done a wonderful job. My services have always been enjoyable, which is why it's disappointing to write this review. My concern isn't with the students it's with how the advertised senior discount is now being applied. The Milan Institute advertises a 20% Senior/Military Discount on hair, nail, and skincare services. For all of my previous visits, the discount was applied in a way that matched my understanding of the advertisement. However, during my last appointment, I was told the discount only applies to one service on my ticket instead of all eligible services received during the same visit. As a senior on a fixed income, that made a significant difference. My appointments that were typically around $110 increased to more than $160 because of how the discount was calculated. Palm Desert and surrounding areas have a large senior population, and many retirees choose Milan Institute because they believe they're receiving a meaningful senior discount. If the discount is intended to apply only to the highest-priced service on your ticket or only one service per visit, I believe that limitation should be clearly disclosed in the website advertisement so customers know exactly what to expect before booking multiple services. I'm giving two stars because the students continue to provide excellent work, but I want other seniors to be aware that the advertised discount may not be be applied the way they might reasonably expect. I truly hope Milan Institute clarifies its senior discount policy so customers can make informed decisions.

What sets DCA apart is the strong sense of home and family--it's more than just a school. The staff is incredibly supportive and full of love, always there when we need them. It's been 2 years since I attended this "Christian" school, 2 years to pick up the pieces of myself…read morethat Desert Christian Academy shattered. I can now share my experience with anyone deciding to attend this school; save yourself and your children from the damage. If you still attend this school, my heart goes out to you. La nej Garrison, Matt Garrison, Kirk Scott, Debbie Scott, and Chris Johnson. These are just a few names of Admin who really need a reality check. One day will show how they treat people and how much they truly are not any kind of role model these kids should be looking up to. When I attended this school, I was treated horribly multiple times and brought it to the admin's attention, but they just dismissed it. This school claims to have the values of "family" but when some students are too afraid to keep their heads up and look at the ground when walking it's because of the students and admin. I happened to be one of the students, and they know that. The number of times Chris Johnson and others told me to keep my head up and stop looking at the ground is why, I was avoiding you. When having a meeting about bullying, La Nej Garrison was there, and instead of trying to help me feel comfortable at this school she announced to the students I was having issues with not to worry about her; she has alot of issues(mentally) As a Christian that she claims to be that is absolutely not ok, not only that but the fact that multiple times she called the girls W**** and S***. Do your mother's and father's really want your daughters to be called that? Another big point is that if you don't have money just know your kids will be treated so awfully, and you'll never believe them because the Staff is so good at lying; they will pretend your child has issues but trust me they don't; it's this school and the staff. "Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body." -Ephesians 4:25 thought I should throw in a verse so you know what you teach. One year I had inappropriate drawings of private parts drawn in my yearbook, and you know what they said "We will get you a new yearbook" Those were admin/teacher kids who did that. That was harassment, and the school did nothing about it. I am a survivor of Desert Christian Academy and I am not afraid to speak out against this school if that means saving other girls just like me from being absolutely destroyed. But honestly, Desert Christian Academy, thank you, because of everything I experienced at Desert Christian Academy, I am who I am today. I learned not to chase the standards of people I would never want to become. I learned that people can claim to stand for certain values while their actions show otherwise. But most importantly, I learned my worth does not depend on the approval of people who made me feel otherwise. I was able to leave, and today I am the happiest I have ever been. I have grown from my experiences, and I will never allow them to define the person I become. My name is Presley Kavoussi. and I am sharing my experience because I wish someone had helped me understand what I was walking into. If you are a parent considering this school for your kids, I encourage you to look beyond what is presented on the surface. Ask questions, pay attention to how students are treated, and remember that you deserve an environment where you feel respected and valued.
