GO ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR CERTIFICATIONS!! The $20-60 you save by going here is NOT worth the headache and waste of your time!!! I paid to take all four certifications - BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP - at this sketchy establishment in the course of two days which sounded like a great deal and efficient use of my time. Instead, I was robbed of a whole day and a half of my time, $100+ in books I never received and an extra 2hr drive I was never supposed to make. From day one, with hours notice, I was asked to reschedule my two-day classes as I'd been the only one to sign up. I was understanding but at the same time, regardless of signups, I paid for THESE two days of classes - I was expecting to receive all my textbooks on the first day to assist with test outs on the 2nd day and I was already skeptical that they would get through all four classes in two days as it was, let alone one! I emphasized that I lived far away, had already been in route and needed these certifications for a pending job. Without so much as an apology, I was told to wait for an email to complete online trainings for BLS, ACLS and PALS. I didn't receive that email until the late afternoon hours leaving me with having to go through countless modules online late into the night before class the next day. The next day rolls by only to be met by another text saying that a flat tire is causing the class to get delayed by 1.5 HOURS after I'd already gotten halfway there! Not only that, but the NRP instructor wasn't available so I have to come back NEXT WEEK for the NRP class! Why wasn't I told this yesterday??? Having heard nothing for a week since, I had to reach out to get a time for the NRP class and was given a 6pm start time on a Friday night when I live an hour away and had originally signed up for 8am classes! I come back a week later and lo behold, the instructor hits a "traffic jam" and won't be there for another HOUR past the 6pm start time! THIS ESTABLISHMENT KNOWS NOTHING OF PROFESSIONALISM, BASIC DECENCY NOR RESPECT FOR THE TIME AND MONEY OF THEIR CUSTOMERS. In reference to the pictures, I never received my refund for the textbooks I didn't receive and certainly saw no effort to refund the "coffee down the street" that was recommended while I waited a total 2.5hrs for the unprofessional instructors at this establishment. read more

Absolutely terrible experience. First of all, the fee is not refundable. You will never get it back regardless of how many times they cancel your class. Secondly, they cancel frequently, based on low sign ups. They did it to me and never refunded my money (over $240, as I was signed up for all three certifications ). Additionally, they cancelled my daughter's class the day before and offered that she take an "online class" instead. Would NOT recommend this business. read more

I am a Registered Nurse and I have taken; ACLS, PALS and BLS with Dr. Rendon Revive at their Rancho Mirage location for the past 8 years. The instructors have always been very through and they take the effort to make sure that all material is understood. They tend to offer small class sizes, so there is plenty of opportunity for hands on training. I have never felt overwhelmed or intimidated by classes at Dr. Rendon Revive. I highly recommend taking a class there. read more

Cathy is a Good instructor! I took my BLS Class today February 10th in this location and I liked the way she teaches and explains every detail. Although she explains class Good she does have a Rude personality towards students! As I was asking questions In Class she asked me if I had a "Language Barrier " because as soon as I speak you were able to tell, and i told her I did not I was born in the US but Spanish was my 1st language and She started laughing and said WELL I THINK YOU DO! Which that made me feel uncomfortable and upset! I'm here typing this review because i want to let the Owners of this facility know about their staff and to the public as well. And because (CATHY SAID IF WE LEFT A REVIEW THEY WERE GOING TO MAIL US A CPR MASK BY LEAVING A REVIEW!!) I recommend this Class to anyone interested in getting their BLS! The lady that checked me in was so harsh and rude. She didn't answer my questions about the process and acted like I was stupid. She didn't listen at all. I walked out. Now I have one week to find another place to take my skills test. A big fail for her. read more

Before I start with the negatives let me give the positive, I learned what I needed to know to pass the class, that being said the person teaching the class leaves much to be desired. I felt like she was a bit condescending and treated some people in the class as if they were children making statements to the effect of, "Get with the program" and telling people what they were doing wrong as if she was scolding a small child. I don't know about anyone else but I hold a professional license in a professional career and I felt this women was inappropriate on more then a few occasions. My advice in the future would be to maintain some semblance of professionalism when teaching others and watch your tone. read more

I completed my online PALS course and scheduled an appointment for skills testing. I showed up to the first appointment and no one was there. When I called they said they saw my reservation but forgot to schedule me. So I rescheduled for this weekend. When I arrived on the weekend, the skills test was fast, but their printer "ran out of ink." I've paid $150 to obtain this piece of paper and now have to come back this afternoon to get it. I'm hoping I don't get ripped off. read more

I enjoyed taking the Basic BLS class today. The positives were: taking it with other like-minded people, the practice demonstrations, reviewing after the video and pearls from Vince. Kathy and Vince really provided an opportunity for you to learn; even if you made mistakes. What could improve is the side talk that occurred during instruction. Best ACLS PALS ECG course ever taken in 15 years I will travel all the way from Northern California to recert every 2 years efficient fun and the best MD Trained American Heart instructors. Well, I got what I came for - my ACLS certification! I took the online class and did the skills assessment on site. The skills test was quicker than expected but through. Not the greatest looking place, but when you're a busy health professional, you're just wanting to get the job done. 100% dissatisfied. I was totally committed to enrolling and completing the MA course. My advice for this process is to be open up front from the very beginning....I was misled. The office needs more training and the owner needs to be aware that his staff is under qualified. I was able to get all my money refunded.
