He was friendly and had a nice sense of humor. Sal provided a great overview of the course and very concise information on situations involving adults, children, and infants. Even though there were only four students and the instructor, my experience was more personalized and engaging. Thank you very much! I walked away with a lot of knowledge and hope to attend this course again in the future.

You continue to try to discredit me and insult my character. I am not a student with a cohort. I have worked in this hospital and surgery center for 18yrs. Very sad and unfortunate to know a "Doctor" would act this way. Guinea pig passed away? So silly. Take care. Have a blessed day and may your business continue to grow.

Karen has taken the family name of Max Harry Weil, MD and tried to capitalize on his stellar career…read moreas a physician, researcher, educator and mentor. It is my understanding that she was a short term secretary for Dr Weil and when he died she took on his name without permission from his family. Additionally, she has contacted our organization requesting short cuts for training educators to boost her profits and also takes advantage of churches for free rooms - again, to boost her profits. Before signing up for one of her classes I would suggest that you ask for a copy of her most current professional liability insurance statement and as well as a copy of her manikin/equipment cleaning policy - also, it is questionable as to the source and legitimacy of the acquisition of her training equipment

I have been receiving massages at Milan for many years. The student therapists are all near their…read moregraduation, and every single massage given by them has been wonderful. And the price is so incredibly low that it's hard to believe, ESPECIALLY when compared with all the hotel spa services and private massage salons in the Coachella Valley. But, today was the all-time best. My therapist, Ashlyn, was simply incredible. A real natural with a great "feel" for her craft. I have received hundreds of massages over the years, but this was one of the very best of all of them. When I checked out to pay, I was met by Heather, who was was extremely professional, personable, and efficient, and booked me next week for my next massage with Ashlyn. These two individuals, Ashlyn and Heather, and Milan massage institute in general are all highly recommended! You simply can't go wrong here!

I've been a regular customer at the Milan Institute in Palm Desert and have visited approximately…read more12 times. I've had my hair cut, colored, high lighted, manicures, pedicures, full sets and skin care appointments, and the students have consistently done a wonderful job. My services have always been enjoyable, which is why it's disappointing to write this review. My concern isn't with the students it's with how the advertised senior discount is now being applied. The Milan Institute advertises a 20% Senior/Military Discount on hair, nail, and skincare services. For all of my previous visits, the discount was applied in a way that matched my understanding of the advertisement. However, during my last appointment, I was told the discount only applies to one service on my ticket instead of all eligible services received during the same visit. As a senior on a fixed income, that made a significant difference. My appointments that were typically around $110 increased to more than $160 because of how the discount was calculated. Palm Desert and surrounding areas have a large senior population, and many retirees choose Milan Institute because they believe they're receiving a meaningful senior discount. If the discount is intended to apply only to the highest-priced service on your ticket or only one service per visit, I believe that limitation should be clearly disclosed in the website advertisement so customers know exactly what to expect before booking multiple services. I'm giving two stars because the students continue to provide excellent work, but I want other seniors to be aware that the advertised discount may not be be applied the way they might reasonably expect. I truly hope Milan Institute clarifies its senior discount policy so customers can make informed decisions.

There are better schools out there. Don't waste your time and money coming here. Their general…read moreeducation credits don't transfer to other schools either so now I'm stuck with them when I bridge to RN which is incredibly unfortunate. You spend more hours doing homework than you do learning in class. They say because "it's adult learning" but you literally have so much homework that you can't actually absorb any of the information because you're just trying to get your assignments finished. It's absolutely ridiculous. I learned more at a different school I was going to and we didn't even have homework there we just had to READ a lot which gave me a more well rounded understanding of the knowledge anyway. I had joy and passion at that school and I should've did whatever I could to stay there. Carrington will suck the life and joy out of you and cost 10k more in the process ‍

Notably, without fail, the faculty members have demonstrated a caring and supportive attitude and also concern for student progress and our educational growth. Carrington did not skimp on any of our supplies and we've been given our iPads/keyboards/pencils, backpacks, ATI books, ebooks, drug books, 3M Littmann stethoscopes, and everything else that we need. The Rancho Mirage location has a very cool industrial vibe and the multiple simulation rooms are well stocked and extraordinarily helpful to our learning. Plus, our clinical sites include a local, large trauma center hospital that I've been considering working at in the future as an RN so it's fantastic to be able to give it a test run before making any decisions. All in all it has been a wonderful life-changing experience for me at Carrington School of Nursing and well worth the price and investment. It's hard work but nothing great ever comes easy. The best money I've ever spent on myself!
