The Director of nursing will also withhold your credits if you complete the program and do not pass their comprehensive exam when you are eligible by law to challenge the LVN board. When I was considering my future at Concorde, I wished I had a firsthand account of the program to…read morehelp guide me--so I'm leaving this review to share my experience at CCC San Bernardino. My first impression came from my admissions advisor, Kareem. He was incredibly informative, helped me gather everything I needed to make a solid decision, and kept a great sense of humor throughout the process. To my dismay, the financial aid office did seem a bit overwhelmed and disorganized. However, they were still able to assist me as long as I made an appointment in advance. I decided to enroll in the Vocational Nursing program. To be completely transparent, I wasn't entirely satisfied with every single instructor. But overall, it's a great program, and the teachers who go above and beyond--like Dr. Kailub and Mr. Arroyo--really make all the difference. Some administrators go out of their way to help, too. I have an incredible amount of respect for Dr. Shirley; she puts in so much work to ensure her VN students excel, no matter what hurdles come their way. Last but far from least is Gale Wasif, the Director of Nursing. I have immense appreciation for her because she consistently helped me realize that the "mountains" in my way were really just molehills at the end of the day. Life doesn't stop just because you're in school, and neither do the obstacles. Having a team of teachers, administrators, and a DON who truly care about your future is imperative for success in a fast-paced, accelerated nursing program. I'm incredibly grateful to have found that support system at Concorde Career College.

The program is demanding and requires a strong commitment, but every challenge was worth it in the end. The director of the DH program and instructors truly want their students to succeed and were always supportive, encouraging, and available whenever guidance was needed. The curriculum and clinical experience helped me build confidence, strengthen my skills, and prepare for real-life experiences in the dental field. There were definitely difficult moments along the way, but the program pushed me to grow into a capable and knowledgeable clinician. I'm very thankful for everything I learned and for the support system the program provided throughout the journey. I'm proud to have been part of this program and would highly recommend it to anyone pursuing a career in dental hygiene.

Overall experience positive. (HVAC) School deficiencies:…read more 1. Lack of supplies. Each month was a "maybe" if the equipment needed was readily available. 2. Unmotivated students. You have the few who are there to learn and absorb the knowledge and the majority who pay to be there to take-up space, learn nothing, and be obstacles to learning. 3. Thieves. Many tools and supplies "magically" went missing. Started the program with six meters and by the end if the course we had to "fight" for use of the one that remained. Makes it harder to learn the practical when opportunists steal from the school and subsequently the students. 4. Lack of physical books. I did NOT appreciate being semi-forced to use the online books. Though I wad told they were "free" having to pay shipping fees for each book (10 books) was insane. If a student prefers physical media, it should be provided for the cost of admission. Books do NOT to be charged nor connected to wi-fi. Something to address going forward. School positives: 1. The instructors (Juan and Leo) were knowledgeable! When I needed clarity, they both responded in timely manners in understandable ways. I read the words, watched the videos, played the PowerPoint videos, so I went with many clarification inquiries. 2. Interim Career Counselor Bonnie. She stepped in right around the time I was graduating and genuinely wanted to help myself and any others who were willing. Her whole career has been helping and she was fantastic! Clear, concise, and helpful in the career planning department that i, myself, arent the best at, thus far. I feel i got most of what I expected with a few hiccups. I chose to do the work, so I feel more confident leaving as a 3.7gpa graduate.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS: ACVOLT ELECTRICAL INC - Incompetence, Property Damage, and Customer Neglect…read more I'm compelled to share my disastrous experience with ACVOLT ELECTRICAL INC (License #1016292) to warn potential customers. What began as a simple A/C replacement in November 2023 turned into a year-long ordeal of equipment failures, property damage, and abysmal customer service. 1. Faulty Installation and Persistent Issues: - New Lennox condenser began leaking within two weeks of installation (11/18/23) - Despite photographic evidence, owner "Manny" dismissed it as "just manufacturer oil" - Leak worsened, spreading to concrete (11/29/23) - Multiple service calls resulted in band-aid solutions - A/C unit frequently froze, leaving us without cooling for days in 100+ degree weather - It took nearly a year (until 10/2/24) to finally get the faulty condenser replaced under manufacturer warranty 2. Severe Property Damage: - During a maintenance visit (7/26/23), the technician used a highly corrosive cleaner - This chemical etched off my concrete sealer, leaving a scab-like appearance - Damage extended to my garage door and wrought iron fence when they carelessly rinsed and splashed the chemical - Immediate complaints were met with empty promises and no action 3. Deceptive and Evasive Customer Service: - Owners Manny and Mario repeatedly cited nebulous "corporate" approvals for repairs - Promised fixes were continually delayed or never materialized - After weeks of follow-ups, they provided contact for a supposed "sealer company" - This contact (Jose) was unreliable, missed appointments, and never did the work since ACVOLT did not approve the cost of repair. - ACVOLT claimed to be in communication with Jose but provided no evidence or results 4. Lack of Accountability: - After months and months of run-around, they suggested I file an insurance claim - "Corporate" reception doesn't have license or insurance information to provide when requested. - Continually shifted responsibility, making it impossible to get a straight answer 5. Suspicious Business Practices: - Reception refuses to provide license or insurance information - Owners play "good cop, bad cop," switching primary contacts when complaints escalate - Upsold maintenance plan that did nothing to address core issues 6. Ongoing Damage and Neglect: - As of October 2024, nearly a year after the initial property damage, no repairs have been made - Multiple promises of resolution have been broken - Property damage remains unaddressed, potentially worsening over time In summary, ACVOLT ELECTRICAL INC has demonstrated a shocking lack of professionalism, technical competence, and basic customer care. They've left me with damaged property, wasted time, and the stress of dealing with their incompetence for an entire year. Their pattern of behavior suggests either gross negligence or intentional deception. If you value your property, time, and peace of mind, avoid this company at all costs. The headache and potential financial loss are simply not worth the risk.

If you are looking to get some computer certifications, this school is partnered with most of the major players: Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco and others. One great thing about this school is that all of the workstations have dual monitors, so that you can follow the instructor's presentation on one monitor, and work through the labs on the second monitor, allowing you to toggle between screens easily. They offer both instructor led classes, as well as mentored learning, where you can study independently through the labs on your own pace. In all honesty, most of the focus is on self-study, so if you are looking for a place to hold your hand during the learning process, this place is not it. Also, if you are studying for a certification, you should probably buy supplemental books just to fill in some gaps in their study material. The facility itself is very clean and well laid out. The classrooms are on the cold side, so I would advise bringing a sweater/sweatshirt. There have been times that it has been so cold that it is hard to concentrate on learning, so I wish they would do a better job of climate control. The staff here is usually helpful and willing to lend a hand, especially Felicia, who is able to track down answers when you need them. Note to Management: Get some chairs for the lab rooms that are at least semi-ergonomic. When you have to sit down at a lab for close to 8 hours, the chairs you currently have don't cut it.

This review is only for Karina and her deeply unprofessional conduct toward students. Based on…read morerepeated incidents, it is evident that she lacks the maturity, temperament, and ethical standards required to work in an educational environment. Karina frequently exhibits hostile and bullying behavior toward students, creating an intimidating and toxic atmosphere. Specifically, she has displayed clear animosity toward my daughter, repeatedly targeting and singling her out. Most alarmingly, she made a baseless and absurd accusation claiming my daughter was sitting in a car for over 40 minutes--an accusation made with zero regard for facts, considering the simple truth that my daughter does not even drive.Furthermore, Karina is entirely unapproachable, defensive, and fails to model basic professional communication. Her behavior and mindset reflect a troubling lack of emotional maturity, often appearing more suited to high school petty drama than an educational setting.Educators are entrusted with nurturing, protecting, and guiding young people. If an individual harbors personal biases, insecurity, or animosity toward young women who are bright, ambitious, and full of potential, they are in the wrong profession and should seek employment outside of education. I expect leadership to thoroughly review this conduct and take appropriate corrective action to ensure students are no longer subjected to this kind of hostility and harassment.
