They also do a background check on all their workers which put me at ease. I can't just have anyone in my home. She literally had someone by the afternoon and we started that very Monday. I can't express how awesome my tutor was. She helped us with study skills, organization, prioritizing, and explained things to where my son became eager to learn again. Within four years, she advanced to the top 20 in reading nationwide and worked more than three grade levels ahead in math. We decided to pause Kumon when she entered first grade so she could focus on her classroom curriculum. Looking back now in fifth grade, we can clearly see how much Kumon helped her. It gave her the skills to complete homework quickly, improve comprehension in class, develop a true love for reading, and even win school awards. Now we also have a three-year-old boy, and we look forward to giving him a head start at Kumon before he begins elementary school.
