No one really understands how hard these rescues work for animals. To read comments like 'where is…read morethis place even at" is so disturbing. You act like you're going shopping for some commodity. Many rescues use fosters or don't want to list their location to protect the animals. Their job is to PROTECT the animals - and no I'm sorry, you will not all be the right home or qualify. So if you don't get the dog you wanted, you might be fully just absorbed in your own emotions but you are not the one doing the tireless work here for the animals. Royce has been helping animals for years! She like many other rescues are amazing, the real super stars and most people don't have any glimpse into what that daily hard work is like. It's a labor of love and it's to help animals.

Such a well maintained and safe trail to either run, walk or amble, even separate paths for bicyclist and foot traffic as desired. Doggy poop bags at the ready at every entrance/exit point which I've never seen empty. Makes me wonder why I encounter dog droppings on occasion with so many opportunities to pickup after them and dispose of same adjacent to the dispensers. Guess some people just don't care for other users. This trail lays upon the abandoned rail road as the name implies. Thanks to Archie and Betty Wilson who allowed the city of Rancho Cucamonga to traverse their property, the trail was established along the railroad right-away for all to enjoy. On a hot day travel early or late in the day, as the trees planted along the trail are in their growing stage, which offer little shade. Have not traveled it's entire length, but suppose along the whole length would prove just as delightful as the portion I traverse.

Then with a little bit of research I came across the Friends of the Pacific Electric Trail, and have been participating in monthly meeting since. The Friends is a great group of volunteers passionate about promoting exposure of the trail, and trail enhancement. This was a win-win situation for me as I used to ride my bike everyday through trails after work for recreation, and the trail enhancement program developed by the Friends helped us get in touch with the City of Fontana to present idea to donate a Gazebo. This Gazebo will eventually come to life at the intersection of Almeria Ave in Fontana. We can't wait as this will benefit not just the community by providing a sweet rest stop, but to allow our employees to enjoy the trail.

She has such a positive, upbeat personality that it made the entire shopping experience enjoyable. It's clear she genuinely cares about the customers and takes pride in providing outstanding service. There is parking in the front of store, but it usually gets taken rather quickly especially between 2 PM to 4 PM on weekdays. You can also park in the back, near the area where donations are dropped off. I usually come on Tuesdays, where discounts usually don't apply to me. I like Wednesday's where there are student/teacher discounts. To my luck, I went on a spin the wheel day today! You get to spin the wheel after your purchase for an opportunity to win items or get a discount. I like browsing their toys, vintage items, and office supplies. I usually get very good second hand items such as staplers, hole punchers, DVDs, shoes, and board games. This location is actually my favorite place to shop for vintage film cameras (I'm afraid to post this because my fellow Yelp friends will be coming more to grab them before I do!). Today, I bought a good pocket minolta film camera, some stuffed animals, and some office supplies. The cashiers are sweethearts and are willing to help you look at items! They also have an extensive amount of used clothes and furniture. It's definitely my favorite thrift store and will continue to be so.

Part of what makes a great thrift store fun is the hunt, the setup, the vibe, and finding those unexpected treasures but here it felt like there was just a lot of stuff without much organization or thought behind the layout. The pricing was another thing that surprised me. A lot of the prices didn't really make sense for a thrift store and felt on the higher side compared to other spots I've visited. The atmosphere was just missing something. No cool decor, no personality, and overall the vibe wasn't there for me. It feels like it caters more to an older crowd, which is totally fine, but just not my style of thrifting. Also, no restroom available, which is always frustrating when you're shopping and spending time looking around. 4/10 for me. I love discovering new thrift stores, but this one isn't a place I'd go out of my way to visit again.
