Checking in feels organized, smooth, and actually reassuring. They make it very clear that they're there to set you up for success, not stress you out. What I appreciate most is how mindful they are about breaks and personal comfort. They really want you to take your time, breathe, reset, and not feel rushed to jump back into the exam. They're super efficient at noticing if someone needs the restroom or if another bathroom needs to be opened. It feels like they're quietly watching out for everyone in a way that makes the whole environment feel safe and supported. When I called Lisa from Study Pals on a Saturday morning, she assured me she could get someone right away and tailor the tutoring to whatever we needed. They also do a background check on all their workers which put me at ease. I can't just have anyone in my home. She literally had someone by the afternoon and we started that very Monday. I can't express how awesome my tutor was. She helped us with study skills, organization, prioritizing, and explained things to where my son became eager to learn again. I have exhausted so much money paying for hotels. The last hotel my family and I resided in the staff put us in a hotel room with a broken window because of their negligence my autistic son fell 4 story's and because so we are now fighting a CFS case for the past few months. My husband and I came to this organization looking to be able to save up for just a month while I continue school. Their reasoning for not helping us was because I had no connection with surrounding areas hello I'm homeless I have no connection with any area ‍ weird. They also said I couldn't go to school I have to be working which is also weird considering my husband already works, by going to school I'm working towards something more permanent for my family. Neither one of us does any type of drugs or drink, we are just a family who have been experiencing hard times that won't give up.
