If you want to "up" your ride experience, doing a Pro Fit (and especially purchasing a new ride you always wanted) with Cenna should definitely elevate your experience to a new level that might surprise you. It did for me - and I've ridden high-end, 'custom-fitted' bikes for decades. Doing just this with Cenna was robably my best cycle experience - from a long list of good-to-great ones - with even gaining tons of new & valuable cycle learning. Cenna is a true pro with a hard-earned experience over decades that, combined with the right amount of data-driven fit input, results in that true, perfect fit experience. Easily the best bike fit of many before. One you immediately consciously tune into on each ride in a delightful way. It is worth noting that it is better to have an average bike with a perfect fit (than the best bike with a mediocre fit). So don't underestimate the fit side. And Cenna is a true fit pro as well as a truly expert mechanic immensely knowledgeable about the entire range of equipment (road, tri, gravel, mtn) and its optimal installation. But, what is best for you - not what the shop likes for themselves. And, to note, there is some great depth in the shop from Harrison. Sure, many bikes can sure seem an expensive luxury; complete pro fits an indulgence. Don't let others judge your inferior bike - or your high-end one. But, whatever bike you resonate with, the investment in a great fit should bear some truly nice dividends over its life. My experience is that this is a great bike shop of wide scope and depth for most any need from basic to the finesse wrenchings needed for a top cat rider. read more

Seemingly good expertise and a nice selection of products. However, the attitude that comes with doing business at this establishment are not worth it relative to the numerous other bike shops in the area. I bought a pair of cycling shoes directly from a manufacturer and was looking for some insight about the fit. When I visited this store, I was told that I would have to pay to get any input. The exact words were "you bought those online, and I have those shoes in the store. Why should I do anything?" This is not the type of conduct that builds relationships and shows any interest in repeat business. I would never expect to be talked to this way by a business owner, much less one where I'd already spent $1400 on a set of carbon wheel in the past twelve months. Today I made my first visit to this shop and was very impressed. The owner spent a lot of time introducing me to my new Ibis Ripley AF. I came away with a better understanding of how to tune the suspension to match my weight at riding style. He also recommended some local trails. This is a fine little jewel of a bike shop! I was recently looking for a new Ibis gravel bike. I live near Downtown Denver and very few shops in area carry the brand. I was lucky enough to discover Cenna with a quick Google search and an email to the shop. Cenna himself quickly replied and answered all my questions in detail. After a few conversations, I felt comfortable enough to order the bike from him without having stepped in the shop. A few short weeks later the bike was in the shop. I made the long trek to Longmont to get fitted. Cenna couldn't be a nicer guy and he really knows his bikes. The bike was perfectly assembled and he patiently spent a couple hours getting me RETÜL fit, making tiny adjustments to get everything perfect. If you're looking for a high end bike, a professional fit and some great service, I would highly recommend this shop. read more

Had a standard bike fit performed which has certainly helped how well I'm integrated with the bike. My bike definitely rides better. Cenna was knowledgeable, professional, and took 2 hours to work the fit. So very good to very good + overall. One star was certainly lost because the shop didn't have a stand that fit my mtn bike. The fit was done with me either holding on to a table or my bike being held physically while sitting on it. This was wobbly and impacted my position over the bike. Highly encourage that a stand be required to perform fittings in the future. Would recommend with that caveat. read more

Needed my Mountain Bike serviced quickly, for a long ride where I had to be sure everything was in good working order. All the shops I called had a 1-2 week lag. I remembered there was a new shop in Longmont and I called. Talked to Cenna and he said he'd make sure he got to it and at least made sure my bike was good to go. When I got to the shop, I was pretty blown away by their knowledge and capability. Cenna is also the most passionate cycling enthusiast I have ever met! The guy is downright infectuous! I had heard good things in the community about the new high end shop in Prospect. Had looked forward to checking out the shop for a couple of weeks. Was NOT impressed. Experience seemed typical of many poorly run shops. The day I was there it was staffed by a young cyclist that wouldn't know the difference between Suntour Superbe Pro, Record-C era kit, or Mavic SSC derailleurs. I've seen enough bike shops staffed by young ignorant know nothings to realize quickly when one isn't worth the time. I had heard good things about this shop for their niche, custom fitting and helping determine geometry for custom bikes. However, it took me less than five minutes to realize that Lance didn't know what the hell he was talking about, combined with a sheer arrogance that made his ignorance dangerous. I loved that a bike shop had moved into Prospect, but I suspect the sign won't be lit for long. Didn't have a chance to meet Cenna, the owner, who I had heard good things about. He might be a great guy, but he's made some egregiously poor decisions in terms of who he has decided to partner up with. When the shop closes maybe then Lance will realize that most of their customers are passionate about cycling. To the point the target customer has a stable of modern performance carbon, classic and vintage bikes, and even prior era collectibles. The target customer has had the resources to own a great many high end bikes and probably knows exactly what they want, and has the experience to know what they don't. People that are and were passionate about bikes bring a level or knowledge and experience to the conversation and transaction that reflects that. Lance thinks as a $13/hr retail monkey he's knowledgeable because he's "in the industry." Here is a hint, the average customer is a Otolaryngologist, Orthodontist, Orthodontist, Prosecutor, or Solid-State technology engineer so they're probably pretty bright, and probably pretty knowledgeable about cycling, its probably their passion. Most cyclists don't own a tandem, the target customer for this shop might have three in the garage right now. So that being said most of their target customers are going to be turned off by Lance's attitude and ignorance. Check this shop out quickly, it won't be there long. I'm exactly the customer you'd think the shop is looking for, someone interested in a variety of different future custom geometry builds. So while you think this would be the shop that would be destination for someone wanting custom fitting geometry assistance for a custom Paketa tandem, titanium Seven road bike or a Moots 29er, maybe a Mercian Vincitore in Reynolds 853, or just to better fit that irreplaceable Niwot/Longmont Morgul-Bismark built frame, you'd be wrong. If Cenna is anything like Lance, I expect the experience would leave something to be desired. If Lance isn't reflective of the fitting experience and service Cenna offers, then ignore this review. I never had a chance to meet Cenna, and I won't be back I was so turned off by Lance's sheer ignorance and obnoxious attitude. If you've never had a custom bike it feels so very different from a poorly fitting stock geometry bike you might be used to, a bike that by definition probably doesn't fit you. This is where you'd think Cenna's would have a great market here locally. If he's a great fitter there are a TON of cyclists locally riding bikes that don't fit them. You can spot them perched up on the hoods not able to effectively reach the drops on their own bikes for any proportion of their mileage. Maybe it works for them, maybe it doesn't. I call that poor bike fit. Maybe Cenna makes it as an expert fitter in Prospect, helping these people on poorly fitting bikes trapped perched up on the hoods to get into something more appropriate for them. I don't know, I do know I won't be back. If you're serious about bike fit and can't stand the attitude of this shop but want a world class fitting look to Andy Pruitt in Boulder at the Boulder Center for Sports Medicine. Hopefully, Cenna has a chance to make this vision work in the Prospect/Longmont area. The world needs more good shops and fitters. How this works with Lance trying to convince every customer he knows more than they do about cycling is beyond me. I think customers with PhD, MD, or M.Eng. might not be as stupid as he thinks they are, they can afford a $10k custom for a reason. They might actually be passionate enough about cycling to have some knowledge, education, or insight beyond the breadth of his experience standing behind the counter of a retail bike shop. Not sure how a shop makes it staffed by a young man with an inferiority complex that seems to have contempt for the success enjoyed by their own target customer. read more

This was a great experience at a cycle shop, normally in these stores people are stuck up and unhelpful. I had the pleasure of working with Cenna and he was great, knowledgable and willing to share his expertise. He was great at up selling, but it wasn't pushy and he wasn't talking down to me (like most cycle shops) and they were great recommendations. He also did little things for free because he is passionate about cycling. I will definitely come back and highly recommend this shop to all cyclists!!
