Incredible! Delicious food & great service. I can't wait to be back in Union City to go here again!

The way they cook their meats!

We had: (1) Taco Salad with Al Pastor and Chicken (you can choose two different meats! (2) Lengua Chimichanga (3) Muchos Nachos with Al Pastor Everything came out to $35 and change. Everything was absolutely delicious, we'll definitely be back. Their service is very, very quick, almost like fast food place quick. I almost felt like being in a Mexico street food stall when I saw how they cooked their meat... in a good way!:) We saw a bunch of people get tacos so we might have to try that next time! They had a few tables available if you'd like to eat in.

Favorite local Mexican spot! On the corner of a quiet street(: Always smells like home when you first walk in. The food is made with passion and love. The staff makes you feel right at home and are super friendly. The food is always delicious! My favorites: Cemitas Tostadas Quesadillas And today we got their Birria Taco Special and it did not disappoint! Always get their horchata too!

It's very difficult to find good Mexican spots in the East Coast especially in the Tri State area. This place is legit!! The place has the vibrant Mexican pastels. It's a very small place with a few tables. The salsas are great! The food is great! It looks like it's family owned as you'll have young boys and girls serving you. The tacos were AMAZING and it's not too pricey. It was $40ish for three. I will come back here again!

I will always need my Mexican food wherever I go, so here it goes. I order the enchiladas (green and rancheras), al pastor taco, and a carnitas chimichangas. The taco was the best in our opinion and the others were not too bad and not the best. The red sauce they give separately is spicy but good. The horchata and tamarindo drinks (agua fresca) were not that good, they tasted like the powder flavor drinks. The service was good, and the place was not packed, it was pretty cute inside.

Delicious! Delicious! Delicious! Authentic food. Good prices and good portions. Tried and shared a few different things. The chicken chimichanga, al pastor, carnita, and chicken tacos, and the nachos. By far everyone's fav was the nachos! Surprised to have actual queso and not melted shredded cheese! Get it with steak and thank me later. The chimichanga was mmm so good and packed with meat (not rice like other places). The food is prepared literally right in front you and fast! Definitely will come back. Parking is very hard but you can always call in your order and pick up.

Definitely one of the best taco spots in Union City! The meat is seasoned very well and you get a good portion of it in your tacos. It can become crowded and the inside is not too spacious, however taking them to go is always an option if you do not want to sit in a crowded restaurant.

It's been a long time since I've been this excited about Mexican food--not TexMex or CaliMex which I enjoy as well... but this stuff is legit. Start with the 4 salsas and freshly made guacamole. You could use that alone as a heavy snack or light meal. Then, smoke the crispy creamy rich tripas without the funk. The caramelized and lush lengua, lean and heady chorizo, and the tangy, crispy tender al pastor. They will blow your mind. The horchata was a bit subtle for me. I prefer stronger cinnamon and a more rustic drink. Price point was humane for the huge portions.

We were going to go to Chipotle but then decided to try something new. I'm so glad we did! I ordered a vegetarian burrito with guac and a quesadilla grande. Great flavor, great prices, and great portions. Very delighted we found this place and plan on going back. Now all they need is a vegetarian taco alternative.

I got 4 tacos: chorizo, lengua, bistec, al pastor. They were all great! So much flavor, and they actually help up after being delivered, which doesn't always happen. Will definitely be back!

So lucky to have Cemitas Puebla near our house! We visited Texas and were in the mood for similar tacos we've had and this place didn't disappoint! This place is legit guys! What we got: Tacos Mexican style- al pastor, carnitas, chorizo, lengua, cabeza de res Super tasty and flavorful! They don't skimp on the meat and toppings at all either! They provided chips with salsa which were also tasty. FYI though, it's small inside, so call ahead to see if there's a wait. Cant wait to go back and try other their other tacos!!

We ordered: Borracho Tacos (fish) $22 Esquites Gratinee (corn) $10 Truffle Ribeye Burrito $27 Black Chili Crunch Guacamole $14 The borracho tacos aka fish tacos were very small and disappointing. They are very overpriced for what we received. One small piece of fish per little taco shell. Flavor was ok. Are they worth $22? Absolutely not. We will not be reordering these. The Esquites Gratinee corn side dish was bigger than the guacamole portion and flavorful per my boyfriend. I don't eat corn so I didn't have any. My boyfriend really liked it. Said it's unique and 10/10. He would get this again. The truffle ribeye burrito is delicious. Though I didn't get any truffle flavor? If it was there, it's minimal. I didn't taste it at all. The ribeye was cooked perfectly and it's a good portion of meat. Tender and flavorful. No chewiness. Sauce on top is amazing. Rice and beans cooked perfect. Would order this again. It's worth it. Even without truffle flavor. Great portion size too. The black chili crunch guacamole is the star of the show. While it's a small portion, it's very flavorful. Love the garlic. Love the crunch. Fresh avocados. This is worth it. We would definitely order it again. Highly recommend the guac. Small but mighty haha.

That occasion had been a few years ago and had involved an insanely strong margarita, an experience that I would not want to relive. However, my friend suggested grabbing dinner there recently, and since it was a nice evening and their outdoor dining was right on the main thoroughfare of Washington Street, I agreed to at least go to enjoy their excellent people watching. I certainly vowed to skip the cocktails, but was willing to give their food another chance. We started with crisp, lightly-salty tortilla chips and a rich, bold salsa. I then ordered Vegetable Fajitas, which included green and red bell peppers, zucchini, and onions. The peppers had been sliced so thin that they were barely noticeable and made hardly any flavor impact. The sizzling platter was also about 85% onions, of which I was not a fan, so I sent back most of them in the end. The whole thing was also rather greasy. The flour tortillas were delicious and not artificial tasting like most. The DIY platter was also served with a side plate of refreshing sour cream, well-seasoned guacamole, sliced jalapenos, and fresh pico de gallo. I wished the portions of these condiments were larger, though, and the guacamole, in particular. The staff was so friendly, allowing us to linger at the table after we paid and even refilling our water during that time. They all provided service with a smile, which also helped ease any frustration a diner might have about the fact that they apply an automatic tip of 20% to the check for any party size. While I still had a decent experience at East LA, it was much better than I had remembered, and I would be willing to return.

It's an also an opportunity to thank Tacoria for the "small" nachos, currently $10 and not small. When I discovered the JC branch circa 2020 Uber delivery, it was definitely one of the cheapest non-pizza options in coastal NJ. The golden avocado is perhaps the best of the main ingredients but multiple versions benefit from the escabeche peppers. (I will confess that I have ordered different things partly for the sake of having non-duplicate Yelp photo ops). You'll also enjoy the hot sauces and guava basil beverage.

A cashier immediately tried to stop her from going, even though we were clearly customers already waiting in line to order. What made the situation worse was what happened next. A manager identified as Justin and another cashier began arguing about the situation in front of customers. Instead of calmly explaining any policy, the discussion turned into an awkward back-and-forth between staff members while we stood there waiting. The entire interaction became uncomfortable and embarrassing, and it felt like we were being treated as if we had done something wrong simply for asking to use the restroom while waiting to order. If the restaurant has a policy that restrooms are only for paying customers, that's completely understandable. However, there was no visible sign anywhere explaining that policy. Situations like this should be handled professionally and respectfully, especially when customers are already in line to make a purchase. What could have been a simple moment of customer service instead turned into an unnecessarily uncomfortable experience. I hope management reviews how staff communicate policies with customers and considers posting clear signage about restroom access so situations like this can be avoided in the future.

The outside has always made me walk past, but I finally decided to try it tonight as I've gotten sick of Chipotle. Plus it's always a good feeling to support our local businesses. While I wouldn't call this spot a "hidden gem" of Hoboken by any stretch, I did thoroughly enjoy my burrito. I got a regular grilled chicken burrito and everything that came with it. Upon my first bite it was apparent that the chicken was more like hibachi chicken than grilled chicken (not a complaint but not what was advertised). If you try it you'll know exactly what I mean. No complaints about anything else. They could have made more of an effort in evenly distributing the contents of the burrito but thats just me being picky. If it means anything to whoever may be reading this...the burrito felt like it weighed 5 pounds and I found myself eating the entire thing. So why 3/5 stars? This burrito cost me $16! While the ingredients were fresh and the portion was huge, it's hard to justify one burrito at almost 20 bucks. Complain about Chipotle's portions all u want, but my bowl there only costs me like $12. I'd definitely go back again at some point, but it just didn't taste good ENOUGH to justify the price tag. Tacoria has a better burrito (imo) and is a few bucks cheaper. Still, worth a try for sure.
