I couldn't resist picking one up, especially since they were only $4.99. Not gonna lie, I was a little nervous at first though because there wasn't a single word of Japanese anywhere on the box!! But hey, I decided to take my chances anyway. It actually turned out to be pretty good! I ended up getting the Stone Hashira. Is it perfect? Absolutely not. But the quality was way better than I expected for the price. I definitely want to go back soon to grab a few more of these blind boxes. I really hope they continue bringing in stuff like this!

Not all have English ingredients/instructions attached. Basically self serve. Check out at counter. English, Mandarin & Cantonese Chinese spoken, parking full at peak times. Remember to bring own bag to save 10 cents. Buys: River snail soup (2.99) Liuzhou Luosi Rice Noodle -elaborate process, need to cook noodles twice. Waiting to try. -eatery version probably $15-$20 Thai Hot & Sour Noodles (1.49) -to be tried. Thai Seafood noodles (1.49) -rice noodles boil like ramen, drain. Add spicy oil, dried veggies, add sauce & mix all. -Ingredients: garlic, soy sauce, dried seafood, peanuts, dried milk, artificial flavorings -had nuanced flavas of cheese, peanut butter, garlic, chiliness, saltiness. *didn't have noticeable chemical additives. 4ish stars. This is a hidden gem! We stumbled upon it on google and went to explore the farm to possibly pick…read moreapples. When we got there we learnt apple picking was not happening anymore but they have a huge property with alot of vegetables, a walking and tasting tour and a horse!!! First we met Ben, the magical horse who made our day! We got to brush his hair , feed him and just hang out with him. What a unique experience! Note- They host birthday parties there so the horse can play with the kids. Next we met the main farmer who took us on a walking tour of everything they grow. We tried the most unique flowers, herbs, leaves, etc. most memorable were the chocolate mint, fennel, quinine, edible flowers that taste like cucumber. We tasted alot more including their honey which was great! The farmer was funny, engaging and so knowledgeable too! They sell plants and dried herbs and honey along with veggies and other things. We bought a few things and some plants and had a great chat with the kind farm owner. She is just amazing and knew everything about everything on the farm! Highly recommend! Note- They have parking on site and carry cash to buy things!

I'm very disappointed reading some of the comments here!…read more I've been here twice now and I had great experience here. It is a farm!!! So just like vegetation in your home garden what's ready and available vary! And nature controls things too, so it's ridiculous to expect they are fully stocked for specific items at all time! Be kind and reasonable! Anyway, we came here late summer last year for the first time and I definitely loved it! Everyone we met who worked there was very informative and friendly! We especially love their honey! Their bees work hard and it paid off! Definitely great especially to fend off allergy (especially if you're local!). The sweet therapy Horse, Ben is adorable, though be careful with his teeth, he is a sweet animal. There is also a cute small dog that sometimes roam around belongs to the sweet lady who works there. On my 2nd visit, I learned that "flowers" can taste like cucumber! No joke! It was fascinating and also rhubarb stalk taste delicious raw, dipped in a bit of honey. We love this little local farm and will definitely come back. A great place to bring kids and teach them to appreciate fresh fruits and veggies directly from the source.

Beautiful birthday flowers ... delivered a day late. When my relatives asked if I liked the…read moreflowers, I had to reply, "What flowers?" Delivery had been promised so it meant a hassle for relatives living 1,800 miles away. Jory's is closed on Mondays. Maybe that was the hang-up, but delivery had been promised. When they finally arrived, I was greeted with a "Sorry." The flowers were beautiful and so was the amber tone mosaic vase. (I am still enjoying the vase now filled with some dried fall flowers.) But here is where things get a bit strange. When I was rinsing out the vase, I noticed two stickers on the bottom. One said Mervyn's $39.99 and the other said Goodwill $8.99. Mervyn's closed many years ago so today's retail value of the vase would be much more. Who knows how it ended up at Goodwill and then made its way to Jory's. I don't have an issue with recycling from thrift stores. I do it myself. What was very odd to me was Jory's did not take a minute or two to remove the stickers. Very tacky. This would have been a five-star review if the flowers had arrived on time and in a vase that did not show its thrift store origins.
