Had the grilled octopus, very tasty and tender, portion was a bit small IMO. Had the grilled asparagus, came out out hardly grilled, raw pretty much. Waitress gave us another order of the asparagus. A bit better 2nd time around but not charred well at all. Ordered the flank steak for dinner. Steak done perfectly, nice and tender! Waitress was on top of her game also.

Polenta Cremosa- I had already taken a few bites!

Another amazing dinner. For our anniversary we had the polenta app x2, we each had a steak but I had to get the spicy penne vodka (yes that's 3 dinners) plus the loaded baked potato- which is the size of a human head!! We ordered a bottle of Syrah that was delish and recommended by Zach....perfect compliment to our meal! Justine our waitress was fabulous! We even had a little gelato as an anniversary dessert on the house! Love dining here!!!

A birthday celebration to remember! I planned this trip weeks ago without even knowing this gem of a restaurant was located inside the casino. The decor and ambiance was great. Our waiter was amazing and broke down everything that interest us on the menu with honesty. I ordered the NY Strip, Brussels and Mac n cheese. My wife ordered the salmon. Everything we ordered was delicious but the bread stole the show. I know, kind of ridiculous but the bread was amazing. I also enjoyed the Brussels, very different from how I have had them in other restaurants. My wife fell in love with the Mac n Cheese, the bread crumb crunch was bomb. My wife and I have already decided that we will be returning for another go at the casino, but while we are there, we well come back to this amazing spot.

One of the best dinners I've ever had. Went with another couple who made the reservation as we were staying the night at the hotel. We started with the meat and cheese platter which was so good. Nice fresh meats and cheeses. We then had the meatballs which were stuffed with smoke mozzarella and something else crispy on the outside. I went with the tagliatelle bolognese for dinner. They make the pasta fresh daily and the meat and sauce were so good. My wife was so happy we went. I will def come back again

Pomegranate margarita

Stopped here before going to the casino. Very nice. The pomegranate martini was amazing. The fried calamari and shrimp was great it was lightly fried with a taste of tempura. The skirt steak was also good, big portion. The Mac and cheese was different but good very cheesy different pasta style. The broccoli I wasn't too crazy about, it was alil over cooked and the sauce it was dressed in was tangy. Overall the service was great, our server was very friendly and attentive and accommodating. The ambiance was beautiful

Skirt Steak with chimichurri & asparagus

Located inside the Resorts World Catskills casino, Cellaio Steak is an excellent destination for a special occasion. I enjoyed the skirt steak with chichurri herbs and asparagus for dinner. For dessert, we went with the sticky banana bread pudding...my choice, but even my boyfriend, who doesn't like bananas enjoyed it. Love the booths for your own little private dining.

To celebrate my sis birthday, we going this restaurant near where we grew up. We did not know this…read moreplace existed all this time. Plenty of parking. Upon entry, it was as though you walked in to a quaint Italian restaurant on a summer evening. We were immediately greeted and seated for a table of three. The place was quiet and feels private at your table. We were greeted with requests to see if we would like to place an order for drinks. There were a good selection of wines though we do not drink. Water, bread & an adorable mini charcuterie was placed on our table as we look over the menu. There were many options but haven't had good pasta in awhile I decided to order the seafood pasta while my siblings ordered linguini with clams & beef carpaccio (third person was not very hungry). While we sit and enjoy the free table tasting, we enjoyed the ambiance and conversation. Food was freshly prepared and quickly came to the table. All meals were asked if we would like fresh black pepper and grated cheese. Oh my! The pasta were perfect all dente with the sauce full of flavor and creamy that you just want the second bite, the third until you finish the full plate. I so wanted to try other dishes since I was utterly delighted. The table all had the sentiments. We all agree we must come back. The owner stopped by the table to greet us and gave us a little of his story as I was curious how he came to Catskills and open this wonderful place! All to summarize, the service was wonderful! Food delicious, great place to have for celebration and intimate for a date. I highly recommend this place! Definitely coming back!

Food was absolutely outstanding, but we definitely were forgotten about as a table. The four of us…read moresat down and after perusing the menu decided on what we wanted so closed our menus. Someone came by to take our drink order and three of us got a drink. They then took the menus out of our way as we were ready to order, and they said someone would be by shortly. We finished our drinks without ordering and tried to flag down a few people. It was a very full restaurant so we were trying to be understanding. We did put in our order and it was another hour before we got our entrees but no one came back around for another drink order or else we all would have gotten something. The food was absolutely delicious, phenomenal. I would like to go back again to try out the service and see if it was just a fluke or if they are usually that relaxed. It took over 2 hours for us to have one entree and one drink which was a little too much for us. We loved each other's company, and the food was terrific, but it was such a long wait. Also there's only one bathroom for the restaurant. Just one single stall restroom so it was a little tricky waiting for the right timing.

Piccolo Paese may be the best restaurant in Sullivan County when price is considered. I was there…read morewith my girlfriend and her mother this weekend. The food was quite good and the portions were either reasonable or large. However, there are things that could be improved. The lighting at the table was inadequate, though other tables seemed to have better lighting. The little light on the table provides essentially no light and doesn't look attractive. Perhaps it should be removed or replaced. The recorded music wasn't great -- stuff from the 1970s. It's impossible to please everyone with music. At this fairly high price point the restaurant could consider not playing music at all. When we inquired about dessert, the three best options were sold out leaving two other options. We opted not to order dessert. The service was good. The restaurant is good but there are still ways it can improve.

Went to be seated almost sat us in the side entrance table. I asked for the window and he sat us there with no problem. I am convinced restaurants dont read requests on reservations. I thought maybe they would bring a dessert out for my wife or for us to share for our Anniversary, but nothing was mentioned...oh well. Started with figs wrapped in prosciutto and stuffed with marscapone and a raspberry sauce, nice app and cooked nicely. For dinner I ordered the bone in veal chop with asparagus and broiled potato. It was tasty and tender. Waiter asked what temperature I want the chop. I told him 145-150 degrees. He smirked and said medium? Who asks what temperature you want your meat cooked? I cook so I know the temp. Maybe next time ask how you like it cooked? He seemed annoyed and my wife did not mention this until we returned home. I just think he isn't set out for this type of job. I didn't realize how annoyed this made my wife (still left 20% tip, all on my wife I would have left 15% and I rarely do that). The Martini was very good. I am giving 3 stars due to this waiter. Food was a solid 4.5. Probably won't go out of the way to return here.

Hubs and I have been coming up to these neck of the woods since '01 during my long weeknds/school…read morebreaks- but don't remember what was here before Annarella Ristorante opened in '13. Fast-forward to our Oct '26 visit and we finally made it through these doors! Better late than never. Before you even make it through the entrance, the air outside is already smelling like garlic. RESERVE. RESERVE. RESERVE. You can(?) roll up without a res. But don't bet on it because the place has a serious buzz. As you walk in, there's a small dining area to your right facing an L shaped bar, while the main and larger dining room opens up to the left. Tables are dressed in white tablecloths and the whole place has this soft, warm glow making everything feel cozy. I mean...Annarella has this intimate, old-school Italian dining vibe going on. Our escargot starter was everything we wanted. They were drenched in buttery, garlicky, parsley goodness. The combo was excellent! And the thing is- this isn't even a French restaurant! Our main dishes came with a small mixed green salad with olive oil and lemon. Nothing fancy- just good! My shrimp dish with cannellini beans and spinach was a beauty. The shrimp are plump and the beans are creamy- all swimming in this luscious, red cream sauce. Hubs on the other hand, didn't feel the same way about his dish. He ordered like the 1/2 chicken with a small bone-in leg portion, except that breast looked like it had been hammered(?) so much, it was thin! And for $32, it was on the small side and bland. One other reviewer mentioned the blandness too. No real excitement, no standout seasoning, nothing that made hubs go, 'Ohhhh, now this is good chicken'! Hubs ate it, made do and kept it moving. Cocktail time was another mixed bag. My French 77 packed a punch but hubs', was weak. My dessert was a winner. I went straight for the chocolate mousse, and honeyyyy- it was rich, chocolatey, silky and absolutely worth the calories. This mousse meant business! Hubs' sliced raspberry sorbet was actually good but the dark chocolate shell had a freezer taste and left every last bit of that shell behind. Anyhow. I have to give a shout out to our server Jodi, who was an absolute pleasure!
