Ended up needing Dustin and his team again about 6 months later. Our entire AC unit went out. Just before Christmas our AC unit went out. Now its been cold enough that we were able to make through. Unfortunately leaving the windows open all the time isn't really an option. Additionally, in a tri-level home the temp goes up about 5-7 each level. Luckily we had used Celie Air to help repair our unit earlier that year. Unfortunately, a sprinkler that had been installed when the house was built rotted away our unit prematurely. Thanks to Dustin and his crew with Celie Air, we were able to get this repaired quickly. Quote came in at a reasonable cost, included replacement, haul away and coil replacement in the attic. We couldn't be happier with the result, not an expense that we wanted to have, but Dustin and his team made it about as painless as possible. Would highly recommend for AC/Heating needs.

Furnace

Home ownership is challenging. It never fails that our air conditioner has issues every summer in the hottest months of the year. On September 4, 2018 our air conditioner stopped working and I called a local company to come fix it. A hard start was added and I was charged $161.10. September 15, 2018 my air conditioner was not working again. 11 days later and the same issue as before. I called said company back and they wanted to charge me a service fee again to come back and charge me for additional repairs. I explained it had been 11 days since they were out for the same issue and the company would not waive the second service charge. As a customer I felt taken advantage of. I started looking around and got a referral for Celie Air and I have been using Dustin ever since. He has always been so honest, fair in his pricing. Dustin came out immediately and properly diagnosed and repaired my air conditioner turns out the hard start that was added and I was charged for was not the issue nor the solution. I have been using Dustin ever since he saved me back in 2018. It never fails annually Dustin is at my home servicing my air condition unit that was pushing 27 years old. Each year Dustin does what he needs to to get me through another year. He answers my calls of desperation each Summer and comes to my rescue. Last year something happened to our thermostat and he even tried to help us troubleshoot it on our own and when we were not able to, his team spent several hours at our home troubleshooting and fixing it. This year as expected our air conditioner stopped working in July after a couple trips out to repair it. Our air conditioner kept going out a few days or a week later. Dustin never charges me multiple service fees, he and his team stay as long as they need to properly diagnose and troubleshoot our air conditioner. It has been so nice trusting someone and not feeling like I have to get multiple estimates or a second opinion. Unfortunately, this year was the year we needed to replace our air conditioning unit. I did not hesitate when Dustin made the suggestion. I knew if Dustin was saying it was time then it was time. Dustin and his team ordered and installed our new unit within a few days. His team was professional, ensuring to cover our floors and stairs, paying attention to details with installation and clean up. I could not be happier. Dustin answered all of our questions and made us feel comfortable from start to finish. We were at a birthday party and someone there was saying they were replacing their air conditioner and they told me the price was a little more than what we were paying Dustin and when I asked if that was for a five ton unit she said no a three ton unit. Again, my decision to stay loyal to Celie Air was confirmed and solidified. Maybe a week after the installation I got a text message from Dustin letting us know he had found out about a rebate that we may qualify for and sent us the information. At this point Dustin had already been paid in full and didn't have to reach out with this information. Dustin is always looking out for us. I am always sharing how wonderful Celie Air is with anyone and everyone who will listen. I love being able to support someone local who is in the business doing right by their customers. Six years and Dustin has taken care of us like family and for that I will forever be grateful.

We had contacted a local company and, while the quote and scope seemed adequate, the plan for condenser placement was not great and I had sticker shock. So I went to YELP and found JL Martin. I am so glad I did! Jared toured the home, and came up with a great plan for a new system and was able to come in around 3K less that the previous company. I appreciated the 'out of box' thinking! This included working with the city permit process as well. The biggest hold up was actually the city acknowledging and passing the plan. Once that happened the JL Martin team scheduled quickly and the install was completed in under a day. The install team was incredibly respectful, explained everything that they were doing, and took great pains to be as unobtrusive as possible. They gave me the guidance on what to expect with the state inspection and city, made sure I understood what the filter requirements would be in the future and the city signed off within 10 days of install. I could not have asked for a better experience! They really work with you and everyone, from installer to office staff to upper management were amazing, responsive and helpful. They deserve all the reviews that encouraged me to reach out to them.

My air conditioner went out years ago and they changed it out. At the time they also wanted to do my furnace I told them no which my furnace was still good for another couple years and then they came back changed a part on it saving me a little money but the. It went out so I had to shell up the big bucks for it. The value here I do think is better than other places but I wish they would work on the upsell a little bit because times are tough and we don't need that but I do trust this company for things I do need.

***3/6/26 estimate review with Sean***…read more I called on 3/5/26 to schedule a free estimate for a duct repair. My husband helped me connect my Ethernet cable to my work station that is located in the room behind our closet. In order to do this, he went through two walls and found out he punctured through our hvac duct. Oopsie. We saw pink insulation and knew it was our boo boo. Sean was my tech for the day. They have a nice text notification of the tech with a small biography. This was a nice personal touch. Sean was so kind to wait 10mins for me while I finished a work call. He was friendly and professional. I informed him of the issue we identified and he was able to verify we did in fact puncture it with a scope. He showed me the photos after. While he waited for the owner to assess the project for pricing estimate. After he got the estimate from his boss, he explained everything to me. He even hand wrote the estimate in cursive- a lost art that I appreciated seeing. Even though I did not go with either one of my estimates due to high pricing for a relatively small project ($945 Haven, $850, $1025), I greatly appreciated the great service from Sean. He is truly a gem and a kind person. Thank you, Sean for having a superstar attitude in what you do, and being so professional.

Kirk was FANTASTIC! Our unit is 20 years old, we have never really had regular maintenance on it. He showed up super early (they asked if that was okay, and YES thank you). Before he arrived they sent a text with his name and photo. I absolutely love this! That extra safety is so important. Kirk looked at our unit and asked some questions. He explained all they do with the "family plan" so we signed up. I am one of those that needs to be reminded of scheduled upkeep so this is perfect. He gave us the estimate before he started and I asked for a very rough estimate of a new unit (having no idea) so we decided to go with repair and hope for the best. The repair wasn't cheap but considering all the work that needed to be done as well as it being an older unit, I feel it was a very fair price. I think we did have the best with Kirk. He was able to repair our unit and give it some much needed TLC for our AC unit and furnace. He even installed our pre-purchased thermostat! Kirk was polite and considerate. He took time to answer all of our questions and ensured us that we could reach out with any questions, I believe him. Service people can often be rushed, there is a lot of work out there, but not Kirk. He didn't waste time either, I felt like he was in and out in no time at all. By the time he left we understood all that was done and what we need to do to get some additional service from our current unit. I could not be happier with the call I made this morning. I picked the right people to call!

Received a mailer of a "pre-paid" heating/furnace tune up & a water heater sediment flush…read more My heater recently went out so I called them out. They sent another company, I didn't get any "pre-paid" service but was quoted $3,300+ to fix it. I was graciously offered a short term fix for $1,000+ and charged $89.00 for coming out. Bait & switch, I'll get my heater fixed by another company.

He was very personable and friendly. He assessed our requested plumbing repairs and then quoted us a price. I was relieved that the pipes under the bathroom sink did not need to be replaced. It was a simple fix; change the faucets and sink stopper. He was honest about this instead of trying to fleece us into buying a whole new set of pipes. My wife's bathtub drain was snaked, and he replaced a sink stopper downstairs. He thoroughly cleaned up the work area and did not leave a mess. We were not over charged nor were we lied to so he could make more money. The honesty and detailed work are greatly appreciated. Thank you to Dan Hernandez for walking me through the HVAC system issues it was having. He was…read morethorough in explaining what options were available for the HVAC to continue running efficiently. On January 28, 2026, Dan performed repairs to the HVAC. The furnace would not turn off, and it would only blow cold air. Therefore, he performed a diagnostic and presented solutions to repair the furnace. I decided to move forward with option one: replaced ignition sensor, installed electrical surge protectors for the furnace as well as for the outdoor condenser, performed a level one pull and clean on the blower wheel. Additional repairs would need to be completed but holding off until next year. Dan is professional and personable - someone who also takes his time to do the work. I was very satisfied and comfortable with the quality of work he performed. Thanks, again, Dan. Hope to see you again next year to do the additional fixes.
