I called before hand to make sure Linda was in- she was not- but I was told there were others there to do a deep tissue massage. This massage by NOT Linda: easily one of the worst massages Ive ever had, like it was SO bad despite her trying. She was a very small thin woman and even with her whole body, didn't have enough pressure for me. I asked for her to go harder (starting with medium pressure) but that turned into pointy, boney elbows and knees poking me instead of constant smooth pressure. It was painful and she had very thin fingers with long nails that snapped and scratched my skin- at the point I thought she cut me with her nails, I asked her to stop and requested another masseuse. I got a second woman who was not AS BAD as the first, but still pretty bad. It was not a relief.... The massage seemed short and it was obvious she was unsure of what to do... like she just was doing what she thought you do in a massage, if that makes sense. It hurt AGAIN, was not relaxing at all and even the blanket they had me covered in was SOOOOO ROUGH it was hurting my skin while either masseuses pulled and snapped my skin. I got a "rug burn" on my back from it. It was just honestly a terrible experience. I was scared to try someone else beyond Linda- I was right. If I do come back again, I will ONLY let Linda massage me. I paid $90 for a massage from hell and still gave $20 tip for both ladies time (even though no tip at all was really my apt, I just thought $10 for both women was atleast something for their attempts. All in all: trust your instincts if you have a fave and Labella- please absolutely throw away the rough "bedding" (I honestly felt like I received a massage from under a table runner or some scrubbing fabric- absolutely terrible.) I'm in more pain now than when I came in.

I asked for a deep tissue, the only time it was deep tissue was when my therapists arm was rubbing up and down my back like a guasha, which was one of the 5 things she kept doing over and over. When she went into my shoulders she kept smacking my head because again she was using her forearm roughly. Massaged my hands for literally 30 seconds. But the worst part was that she literally pushed so hard repeatedly on my spine! It hurt so bad I was ready to get up and leave but I hate confrontation and didn't want her to feel bad or get in trouble with her boss who was right up front. I know deep tissue is painful and will leave you sore but I get a massage every month and that was not a good massage and I'm sore/in pain up and down my spine and nowhere else. I work with massage therapists and you're not allowed to work direct on the spine and you can cause permanent damage! Sorry to say I will never be back.

Even in just the one hour with Grace, she made me feel so much better, excellent pressure throughout and so kind! I left feeling much more relief, and I was also much more calm, patient and friendly in public afterwards. I love the whole atmosphere here from start to finish. It's so calm in the waiting room and the front desk staff are so friendly, open and kind. Once I got that text I realized I was triple booked that day, I called as soon as I got the text at 9:28 and Jocelyn answered the phone, she then "reminded me" that I must call 48 hours in advanced in order to not be charged a fee.... she's soooo worried about 28 minutes? That's ridiculous in my opinion. I could understand if I called 24 hours before hand and your policy is 48 hours but it makes me question if yall are really hurting that bad you need to worry about a less than 30 minute difference which makes me question if this is where I should really go. She also had a hard time staying within the perimeters I have for scheduling. I drive myself but I also have several other appointments during the week totally anywhere from 4-9 a week. So scheduling can be a little difficult but I gave her between 9 & 1 and for some reason I was still being offered options outside of that. And it's not like I said this several phone calls prior, I say it in every phone call where I set up appointments because I don't expect them to remember between calls but I don't think it's unreasonable to hope they would remember when it was said during this call. I know jen was out sick that day and that Jocelyn was doing her best to cover but jen is the best receptionist I've seen there so far in my roughly 2 years with yall. From what I can tell, an outside perspective she really goes above and beyond not just for the company but for the client too I really appreciate how things have turned around since she has showed up! Alyssa is amazing as well I've never had issues with her or dr. Andrew. I hope less than 30 minutes really doesn't make a difference and Jocelyn didn't charge me that visit, I just find it very odd that I'm almost being scolded over less than 30 minutes especially when I called as soon as I received the text from yall.

I am currently pregnant and she had pillows so I could lay face down comfortably as she worked. My husband is going to book with her as well as she works on a lot of larger men, too!
