We had Cedar Rustic out last year for a bid, they came in with the lowest price and the sales person "Debbie" was the only person that actually measured for my pitch in my back yard. We ended up having the fence installed this year about 2 weeks ago and my neighbor had his done by them at the same time as well. When they installed the fence it was leveled to the top and there were large gaps where my dogs could potentially get out. I looked at reviews and seen some pretty negative ones....about people not returning phone calls or showing up to fix a problem. I called the next day and a guy called me back that day and set up a time and day to come out and meet with me about my problem. The guy came out and identified there was in fact a problem and set up a day and time to come out to fix this problem. He just left and we couldn't be happier with how they fixed our fence. They put longer pickets in and cut them to length on several sections of fence so the fence is closer to the ground. Overall we are very happy with Cedar Rustic and would recommend them to anyone looking for a high quality fence. read more

Wonderful experience from start to finish. The salesman Bob Race (Nice, friendly, honest person) who was an absolute joy to work with. The install crew of three was early, friendly and crazy hard working. They had to hand dig all post holes due to equipment problems, 13hrs in my yard 40+ holes and did an amazing job. We had a small 2ft section that was not square to the house, the ONLY issue with the entire 240 feet. Install was on a Monday... Bob looked at the small issue on Thursday, manager Mike was out to see it on Friday and it was fixed on Saturday morning. The fence passed inspection with zero issues. I could not have asked for a better experience and will not hesitate to hire/recommend this company in the future. read more

It is time to sell our home. We had to hire carpenters to replace rotting wood which caused the deck to be uneven. They didn't use wood screws, they used galvanized! The posts beneath were not on the concrete and they used cedar under the deck and it's rotted away! We spent good money for this deck and wanted to use a Joliet business. DON'T use them unless you want to build a new deck in 10 years!!!!! This is costing a tidy bit of money and if it had been done correctly when built, we would have saved quite a bit! Who knew what was underneath the deck was not done properly? You put your faith in a company and have found out the hard way that a large company does NOT mean a GOOD company! read more

Fantastic. Bob Race from Cedar Rustic is a great Salesperson, and he is great to work with. They did the first part of our fence, and when we wanted to extend our fence, we hired another fence company that screwed up everything. We hired Cedar Rustic to do the job that the other company couldn't do. and it turned out beautiful. The fence was 380 feet in length, and they got the job done in one day. The fence looked perfect, and we were extremely happy with Cedar Rustic after the worst experience we had with the other company. I am extremely satisfied with the entire project from beginning to end. Gerry the salesperson was very knowledgeable and informative and not at all high pressure. I was responsible for getting the city permit but Cedar Rustic worked directly with the city inspector when he had questions about the plans submitted. This company was the least expensive of all the quotes I received by several thousand dollars. They built my pool deck in just a few days and the quality and workmanship seem outstanding. Never had the fence installed because the sales person lied about 0% financing for 5 years. When it came time to move forward with final signing papers, all of a sudden there was never an option for 0%, its actually 6.99%. They actually had the audacity to suggest taking out a loan on our home for a lower percentage to pay for the fence. The last we heard from them, our sales rep said that he would talk to the owner to see what he could do about lowering the financing, after two times reaching out and no phone call back, we decided to move forward with a different, more honest company. read more

Just bought a vinyl fence from Cedar Rustic. The sales rep was knowledgeable and spent time with me. Most other companies where in and out in 15 minutes. I changed the positioning of the gate on the day of installation. They were able to get the material needed to move the gate the same day. I guess they make their own fences.
