Amazing views from many places along this bluff. Facilities here are pretty basic. People are pretty friendly.

Fun people. LGBT friendly in a clothing optional environment. Easy to get to know people with a nice meal of permanent and daily campers.

The chicken noodle soup was good. They didn't skimp on the ingredients. The salad bar was fine. Nothing special. Some of the ingredients tasted like they had been refrigerated for quite awhile. Most notably the raw broccoli. Otherwise, it was fine. There were lots of choices to build a salad. My husband had the loaded grilled cheese and really liked it. It was very cheesy!

They have a bar/restaurant, little store, canoeing, kayaking, park, playground, clean bathroom and shower house, pickle ball, miniature golf and live music and fireworks. Right next door there is Liza's lagoon with a jumping pillow and wibits. Just a mile down the road was a dog park. Needless to say we were so busy during the day we slept great each night. The restaurant had great food, it was a little busier than expected but I'm sure that had to do with the fish fry going on. The campground was very well run, quiet time at 10pm and the drive the campground to check! Unfortunately, I was so busy making memories I have no pictures to share.

We rented two of the cabins and the amount of space inside was perfect for this family of 4! Each kid got their own loft, we had a bed with wonderful space. The number of things to do while there was perfect for the ADHD kids and the ability to sit and watch them do ALL THE THINGS was perfect for this tired momma! We played mini-golf at 6:45 am, horseshoes at 6:54 am, and playground at 7 am to just start all over again (multiple times)! Definitely plan your drinking schedule with the fact that the bathroom is not in the cabin but still close! We had s'mores on the fire pit and two nights of BBQ! We even swam in the lake and the kids LOVED the inflatables (even the 40-year-old fat dudes got out there). The owners were incredible and friendly. Really can see that they care and have built a wonderful community. We will be back!

The grounds are well maintained. The not so good: Upon check in, the person wasn't very friendly. Now, I'm not looking for a welcome party, but some personality would be nice. There was a miscommunication about the "room key deposit" and this person was a bit rude about it. I also asked for a receipt, because I thought the rate quoted to me over the phone, and the rate I paid was different. I was given a receipt that had numerous charges on it that were not for my stay. After checking in, another person "told" me to move my car, as I was "blocking everything." I wasn't asked to move, I was told. I didn't see it that way, but calmly and nicely agreed and did as I was told. At this same time, the person who checked me in brought out a "correct" receipt that was simply a snippet of a spreadsheet showing what I paid. The bad: The "Master Suite" is not very nice. It's very dated. I get it. This is not the Ritz Carlton, but for the price I paid, it was pretty terrible. The room has an odor of wood rot, which I think is coming from the soft floor by the toilet. The bed is terrible. The refrigerator is directly next to the bed, which kept me up all night. Let the photos speak for themselves. I stay in a hotel/guest room approximately 200-250 nights per year. This was one of the worst I've been in. While sitting by the pool, I heard some other discussion about the owners/management/someone of authority and they didn't have very nice things to say. All-in-all it was a bucket list thing, and kind of a trial visit to see if my wife and I would enjoy staying there in the future. I don't think we'll come back. We certainly won't be staying in a guest room.
