We rented two of the cabins and the amount of space inside was perfect for this family of 4! Each kid got their own loft, we had a bed with wonderful space. The number of things to do while there was perfect for the ADHD kids and the ability to sit and watch them do ALL THE THINGS was perfect for this tired momma! We played mini-golf at 6:45 am, horseshoes at 6:54 am, and playground at 7 am to just start all over again (multiple times)! Definitely plan your drinking schedule with the fact that the bathroom is not in the cabin but still close! We had s'mores on the fire pit and two nights of BBQ! We even swam in the lake and the kids LOVED the inflatables (even the 40-year-old fat dudes got out there). The owners were incredible and friendly. Really can see that they care and have built a wonderful community. We will be back!

We had no phone/internet service the whole time we were there, even though it is posted that they offer it. There was a sign posted that wifi works 30 ft from the office, did not work on any of our devices even at the dining area right next to the office. If you are looking for a nice, quiet, relaxing camping trip DO NOT go here over the weekend. The people that own their own go carts are reckless and irresponsible especially the teens that go way too fast in between the sites. There were a lot of children around and it was nerve wracking watching these people go so fast. They have tons of amenities and some are included, but most cost extra. They have a well stocked store, prices are high! They have showers in public areas, but they charge $ to use them. We had a scary incident with our 12 yr old daughter. She was outside with her friend when two teenage boys approached them on our campsite with scary clown face mask and ski masks on. I did mention it to management who said she would check with security, whom we never saw the whole time we were there. Of course, security never saw anything like that because teens are teens. The VIP sites are nice and level with a table, grill and a cement slab. Be warned there are no onsite sewer hook ups at the individual sites. There is a dump station that you can use by the office. They also have a truck that will come to your camper and empty your tanks for a small fee ($20). If you stay 4 nights it is complimentary. If we were to ever stay again, it will not be on the weekend.

We stayed here with a group of 15 other camping units in June 2021…read more We will not return. Best for primitive campers who don't need electricity or clean bathrooms/showers. Shower cost $0.25. Best for RV campers who enjoy the challenge of a non-level site and have access to unlimited leveling blocks. Electricity hasn't been updated from original installation 50+ years ago. (Seriously, it's from the 60's). Cannot support advertised 30 amp service. 15 amp service was questionable at best. RV's with a fridge or water heater, expect to use your propane. A/C is not supported, and usage within any camper on your block blows the main fuse. Eventually the owner replaces the fuse after an hour, and the process repeats. No compensation or refunds are available. There is a $10 deposit for any reservation. The rest is paid on arrival. The owner will pressure for payment while campers are actively setting up on their site. There is a pool. You can use it... Trees are not maintained with in the campground. Many low branches, dead and alive. Roads are not suitable for larger campers or Any Big Rig. Many large, dead hanging branches within the campground. Pavilion/shelter for rent: Not available upon arrival, after reserving a year in advance. The pavilion is a garage that is mostly full.

The campground is beautiful. So much room to explore the wilderness, I love how peaceful the…read moreatmosphere is. Would definitely recommend staying at this campground if you just need a weekend away or a whole summer vacation from the everyday life.

We had an excellent time during our stay and plan to return…read more Great campground for families. They have a swimming pool and a kiddie pool for the younger crowd. Pretty much had the pool to ourselves on Thursday, but it was pretty busy around noon on Saturday, which is to be expected. We spent about 12 hours total in the pool area throughout our day. They also have a basketball court and a volleyball court, mini golf (for an additional charge) and a small arcade area. They also have two bars and food available to purchase. You can eat there, get it to go, or have it delivered to your campsite. Drinks were priced cheaper than they are at our local bar back home. They also had different activities going on throughout the weekend. If you download their app, they will send you a notification 15 minutes before any events. Campsites are pretty close together, but we enjoy meeting new people, so that wasn't an issue for us. Also, some people want a quiet campground, and I wouldn't say this is necessarily one. There were a lot of different groups of people hanging out pretty late and having a good time. Again, not an issue for us, but something that should be noted for those that want quiet campsite. We did not use the showers or bathroom facilities often, but they were pretty clean anytime I went in there. Campground is also animal friendly. We had our dog and he enjoyed the dog run area they have. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The towels were so thin and crappy. I honestly don't think I would come back.

Here is a full review with lots of pictures. I'd give…read moreIndian Trails 6 stars if I could...even with a few flaws. As far as a campground goes, this place is worth every single penny. You won't be disappointed. It's a little higher in price, but you get your monies worth and here's why. Things to do: I can't even list all that you have to choose from, it's-so-much! You should not get bored and neither will your kiddies! Even better, it's all reasonably priced. Bring fishing poles for the kids. Campsites: Large lots and LEVEL! Campgrounds: Cleanest & nicest I've ever seen. Even throughout the busy weekend they kept the grounds and bathrooms so clean and fully stocked. Staff: Lots of staff around to help with great attitudes. Even when they got swamped they didn't loose their cool. Bathrooms (cause we all care about those): are everywhere and even the port-a-potties are very clean and stocked. Bath houses have private showers and good water pressure and NO BUGS! Dust: they watered the gravel roads often. We were right on a 4 way corner lot at the main entrance and it was never dusty. Store: very well stocked and necessities not overpriced. Condiments were a bit high but they can't keep a lot of that so it's expected. Free Events: we had a free pancake breakfast and honestly planned for a cheap experience. Everyone in our group loved the hot cakes and said they were tasty and they had quality syrup. Only got two, so not quite as filling for our big boys, but we managed. I ran over and got some eggs and was shocked to find out they were only $2 per dozen!! A few knit-picky flaws: *The Western Weekend was more like Indian Extravaganza. Nothing western about it, but very cool to see the authentic Indian culture represented (I'm 1/2 Cherokee so I valued that). However the outside party that ran that part was a little rude sometimes and their stuff way overpriced. *The pool was awesome, but felt like a sauna in there. Really muggy. But nice to have a 3'-8' indoor pool. A few things to think about before booking: * If you need 50 amp & want sewer, make sure you specifically talk to them about that. It's not specified anywhere so when we got there and got our trailer all set up and ready to plug in, we were surprised to find out it was a 30amp outlet. When I asked about it at the office they said all of their shared outlet boxes are technically set up for 1 30amp & 1 50 amp. Luckily the guy next to us only had a pop up, so we were able to use the adapter (they have them in the store to borrow) and I must say, to our relief it worked great all weekend. *If you want to be loud and crazy and party up a storm after hours, find another campground. They are a family camp and strict in enforcing the 11 pm quiet time rules. We were okay with that even though we stayed up until 1 around the fire with a big group of fun people. Drinking is not a problem. Lots of sites had fun just kept it down. *Kids are safe! This place is a GREAT for kids & doggies and they have people checking on them and the entering/exiting cars almost the whole time. We had 8 kids with us and felt totally comfortable letting them play around camp. Overall, you'll love this place. It's not perfect but you'll be hard pressed to find a campground that is or has 1/2 of what they offer. Happy camping!

Root beer float was a decent one. There was a complimentary softee cone, a kayak rental and a bundle of wood. That was a nice surprise.
