This is my families absolute GO-TO. We get the Fattoush salads with chicken, pita with Hummus and salsa, and Shawarma sandwiches. Something about the dressing and the way the chicken is cooked/marinated/seasoned is unreal. The salad dressing is also great and the Garlic paste it comes with is unmatched. It is not a mayo consistence but a stiff/butter-like one, and it taste's amazing. Sometimes the bread is flat which is annoying because I LOVE to make little salad pockets with them but usually this is not the case. We ordered from here today and we were very dissatisfied. The portions weren't that large especially for the price. We did not get any garlic sauce except for the extra one I paid for. We ordered 3 dinners and I would've expected to get at least two. My grilled veggies were raw. Our cream chop was dry and burnt. First visit here, actually made a ten minute trip just to try a new Arabic restaurant. Food was subpar. I purchased a sandwich, fries and salad- they wanted to charge me 60 cents for a side of dipping garlic. If you purchase a decent amount of food dipping garlic should be free, or they should at least give you ONE. Plenty of other Arabic restaurants in the area with better food and will give you complimentary garlic dipping sauce for free. The older gentlemen who works in the afternoon is a penny pinching, grouchy old fart. He has poor customer service and cares about nothing but the bottom line. The rest of the staff are OUTSTANDING! 1. During the Romaine Lettuce recall, I purchased a Fattoush Salad. The old fart never informed me that they swapped out the Romaine lettuce for the soggy, wilting, Iceberg lettuce and still attempted to charge me the same rate as if it was of the same quality. I immediately requested a refund and he copped a nasty attitude as if I offended him.. smh 2. I ordered a Fattoush Salad on a separate occasion. Once I picked it up I noticed that the bag of bread did not have a side of garlic sauce which is usually complimentary when the old fart is not servicing take out orders. I informed him that it was missing. He said that it does not come with the salad. I replied "Dude you are charging $8.47 for Romaine Lettuce and Tomatoes and now you are going to charge me an additional 80 cents for a side of garlic sauce that is usually complimentary. The Old Fart replied " Everything Costs". This is exactly how you do not treat consistent paying customers. I will be sure to tell the remainder of my 60+ co-workers across the driveway about my experience and that they demand that the Old Fart treat them with better CUSTOMER SERVICE! read more

Absolutely amazing!!!! Best middle eastern ever- huge portions and my vegetarian entree (vegetarian cedar plate) include an entire cup of hummus! Every entree comes with delicious soft rice and soup or salad. Lentil soup was outstanding flavor! Most grape leaves come cold but this was piping hot inside even though we ordered lunch carry out and I opened it 15 mins later! It melted in my mouth and the flavors were a party in my mouth!! I only can speak for the Tawook but I can't stop thinking about it! It was so juicy and flavorful. Small portion size for the price (I'm used to getting more) but the quality was everything! This restaurant looks unassuming from the outside, but the food is worth going in for a look. The decor consists of clean furniture and cloth napkins. Our waitress was very attentive and brought fresh pita bread and dip right away, even refilling it while we waited for our entree. Entrees came with house salad or soup. My lentil soup was delicious. I ordered carry out for Hummus and Baba ghanoush. Baba ghanoush was as expected. No complaints there. However, for the first time ever, I tasted hummus which had a distinct flour flavor to it. I am not middle eastern, But a simple google search tells me that hummus can be made from chickpea flour also. My personal preference is for hummus made from actual chickpeas and not processed flour. Just got back from dinner here and LOVED it! At first I was a bit surprised when I was seated at the bar as I felt I was on top of the staff, however the female waitress started talking to me and made my night that much more enjoyable! It is hard sometimes dining alone yet she and the man I assume was the manager/owner was also very friendly. The food was AMAZING! I had the shrimp Liban and it was seasoned fabulously and was extremely delish! I wished I had more room for dessert, but I was stuffed! I was offered a to go menu as they deliver and have carry out. Stopped in recently for lunch with a friend, and was reminded what a great little place this is. Lovely amosphere, friendly and attentive service, and expanded menu since I had been there last. They have made all of their dinner entrees into lunch portions, and this made it SO hard to choose! I usually get their lemon chicken (to die for) but tried their Shish Tawook at the recommendation of the waitress......now I'll really have a problem next time I go it, it was fabulous. Large, generous portion for lunch, which included rice, vegetables and soup or salad. We ordred the hummous for a starter and asked for fresh veggies to dip, and they brought out the most beautiful platter. Owner Camilia stopped by our table to ask how everything was. I have to hit Cedar Grill once a week. They have excellent food and services. I've never had a bad dish lamb dish or a squash dish. I had one of the specials yesterday and it was phenomenal. Salads are also excellent. Service is very friendly. I've spoken to the waitress a couple of times and the chef takes great pride in the food and makes many meals special to order. I think this is one of the healthier places to eat. Nothing beats the salad or soup coupled with a nice entree and side. Mediterranean sandwiches are also available. The dining area is comfortable, but small. It can often get crowded at Noon. If they ever expand in the future, I think they would still pack a full size restaurant. Highly recommended. read more

The food is decent but the wait staff are rude. I believe it's a family owned business so it's really impossible to make a complaint because the manager backs the crappy services of the waitresses. Ordering inline is pointless because they never have your order ready when you schedule it ahead of time and generally my order has been incorrect. My colleagues and I have ordered takeout from Cedar grille multiple times and it has been pretty good, but today we decided we would go eat-in, which I wish we never did. We were a party of 7 and it took the waitress almost 5 minutes to come greet us....okay whatever, this was not even a big deal compared to the rest of our experience... One of my colleagues ordered the chicken shawarma which came to the table not even cooked as the chicken was pink and just really did not look appetizing. I ordered the chix tawook sandwich bundle along with another colleague which was accompanied with a side salad ($8.99). My first bite into the sandwich, I had to spit it out into my napkin as I felt like biting into a piece of chewy fat, DISGUSTING!! I asked my friend how her sandwich was and she mentioned hers tasted pretty bad as well. At this point we called the waitress over and told her we wanted to speak to the manager. The bald headed Manager, "Romeo," did not show up for at least 5 minutes and looked pissed as he approached our table. My colleague that had ordered the chicken shawarma lunch explained to him why she was not happy with the way her lunch was prepared and that usually shawarma is thinly sliced chicken that is shaved off a skewer, which is not what was brought out. His EXACT response to her was: "We do not prepare our chicken shawarma like that HONEY" I was speechless as he went on and on trying to justify why he thought the chicken his cook had prepared was acceptable, as opposed to just apologizing. Then he got upset that my colleague did not want to order something else instead...ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! What type of manager is running this restaurant and referring to guests as HONEY!!!! First of all, learn some manners....second of all, start treating your guests with respect and APOLOGIZE!!!!!!!!!!!! he did not once apologize. He walked away and had the server comp $4 off of all three meals...he did NOT comp the whole plate of 8.99, as he charged us each 5$ for the side salads we were served...RIP OFF!!! WE WILL NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE AGAIN!! 2 Booli and Grape leaves are way better than this restaurant, and it was simply the way that the situation was handled that was unacceptable. Terrible customer service. I placed an order by calling in, and the young boy who answered acted like I was bothering him with asking a couple questions. They forgot my bread for the second time. My husband went back the first time, but it is a 15 minute drive one way. I have a toddler to feed and there is construction going so it takes even longer. When I called to tell them they forgot the bread for my hummus and baba, the MANAGER told me to drive back up there for my 5 pieces of bread, or he would give them to me next time. How are we supposed to eat our hummus, with a spoon!!! And even if I did drive back up, my other food wood have been cold by the time I got back. He was disrespectful on the phone and we will never go back. He should have offered a free appetizer for the next visit, and that would have guaranteed we would have came back. Instead you lost us forever. We have been frequenting about 3 times a month for the last 7 years. It's a shame really.
