The worst golf course I've ever played. Greens have tons of dead spots, standing water everywhere along with mud. Dandelions all over the course, and grass growing in the sand traps. On top of it all, they're charging $45 for 18 and a cart. Should be a $20 course, tops.

Great fall golf experience. Green still in great shape. Very accommodating in pro shop.

Great rates, great staff. Nice course, however the bunkers could use some work. For the price, can't beat it.

Worst course in Macomb County. Fairways cut horribly. Cart died on us at hole 10. 1 star is being generous.

I mean does it get much better than this place in the state of Michigan? I think not! Oakridge Bar…read moreand Country Club not only captures the beauty of the Lenox through 36 breathtaking holes, but it comforts and encourages golfers to "let their wild side out" if I do say so myself. WHERE DO I BEGIN. The Old Oaks: Let's start with the Guiness World Record holding 18 holes of the Old Oaks. The Old Oaks have attracted some of the greatest golfers of our generation. It is the oldest fucking course in the state of Michigan, and you can definitely tell! Its challenges include, not hitting the green on #1, sticking your wedge without bouncing off the trampoline green on #5, and keeping your composure as the inmates of Macomb Correctional Facility harass you on #6! The Marsh Oaks (tough) The Old Oaks may stick true to its name, but the Marsh Oaks is no cake walk. In fact, the Marsh is so tough that if you want to play it, there is no 9-hole rate! You must suffer the wrath of all 18 devastating holes! Indulge in the front, but the fun really begins at the turn. For first time golfers here at Oakridge Bar and Grill Country Club, #10 of the Marsh Oaks will have you saying, "how the fuck do we get back to the clubhouse?" Its challenges include chipping over the green monster on #11, not falling in love with a cart girl, and escaping without Malaria from all the mosquito bites! Never change Oakridge, we love ya!

Fun layout and good pace of play. The issue is they are charging $75 for the Marsh Oak course…read more.. way too expensive for the conditions they have out there. That course is worth $50 at most. If you want to charge $75+ for a round of golf, you better have nice grass, nice fairways, good tee boxes, and nice greens. These conditions were awful for what they are charging. Felt like I was trying to play golf in someone poorly groomed backyard. Shame.

Let me start off by saying my family and friends have belonged and loved Red Run for probably a…read moredecade now. However, my child had a recent experience there that did not sit well with me. My daughter and her two friends (also members of the club) went inside the clubhouse on a weekday afternoon for lunch. They were not dressed paticularly fancy, but they were also not in inappropriate or distressed clothes. Nothing they have not worn hundreds of times with me to eat dinner there. When they arrived, it was an obviously slow afternoon and there was not one other party inside for lunch. When three of them (19 year-olds) walked up to be served, the two hostesses gave them a rude look, then continued seating them. After they were seated and drink orders were taken, the two hostesses and waitress began staring at them from a distance, whispering and clearly pointing as if they didn't have the common sense to know how rude that was. After they had gotten their drinks, a staff member came up to them saying they weren't dressed appropriately to be eating in the clubhouse and had to leave immediately. Embarrassed, the kids left. Now don't get me wrong. I have belonged here for ten years and I am very familiar with the dress code. It is possible the kids were slightly underdressed. However, the way the handled it is what is completely absurd and unprofessional. Why would you seat them, take their drink orders, and whisper and stare before deciding they can't be served? It is so disgustingly rude. Second of all, I know for a fact when I come in with my daughter to eat in the same clothes, they never comment or question the attire. Why? Because it is easy to be rude to young people and get away with it. There was literally no one else in the club eating and they had to waste these kids' time by seating them, then deciding they didn't want to anymore. So gross and unprofessional. We pay for these kids to be members too, so the biased behavior towards mature and respectful young people is almost humorous. I hope the bratty female hostesses and waitress learn this is not the way to handle a situation. I've seen McDonald's workers with more respect towards customers.

Exquisite cuisine and expert service. The red run golf club is delightful. It felt very fancy! It…read morewas very enjoyable.

Horrible treatment!! We purchased a group golfer coupon…read morewhich THEY offered but the treatment we got from the moment we got there made it clear they don't like "non-members" there so I am not sure why they even offer this special. They make it difficult to schedule tee times to start with and they were So disrespectful and condescending and told us it was a "privilege to play here" Also it cost 90$ to play!!! I play at courses all around Michigan and this course is Nothing special How would they know that we weren't Perspective members scoping out the possibility of joining? I wouldn't go back here if it was free and I live 10 minutes from the course!!

Heck of a deal I guess if I would've use them in time. $35 for around here plus a bucket of balls at the driving range. Since they expired I guess we had to pay full price which was an additional $55! Got a real feeling that they don't like people that are not members. Both times they made it difficult to schedule a tee time. Didn't return calls for 24 hours or more. For the round today I made a tee time a week and a half and advance. They stopped me and told me I couldn't make a reservation more than one week in advance..lol. So I waited a few days and called them back again. More of the voice message system and not returning calls. Finally made the reservation for this morning. Two days later I got a call from Brian "the golf pro " and he told me that they had no teetimes in the morning and we would have to wait until late in the morning for hours. We agreed. Imagine the surprise when we showed up and there were eight cars in the parking lot. So I guess we were lied to. One of the most uncomfortable experiences I've ever had. Talk about being made to feel unwelcome. Quite a smug character this Brian. Not very welcoming. Especially to people who would could be prospective members here. It's OK that Brian's not very good at his job. $40,000 doesn't get you much in an employee nowadays. He came out on the course and watched us. Drove up to watch us in the middle of the course at one point. He came out to make several rude and smug comments. When we played this course previously we had a pretty decent time. Thought it would be a fun place to come to if we lived closer. Based on our experience this last time I can assure you we will never be back.
