Cedar Creek Winery offers a picturesque and relaxing setting.
Julianne S.

Cedar Creek has rapidly become our favorite Indiana winery. They have an incredible selection of dry, semi-dry, and sweet wines to please any palate. And for those non-wine lovers, they also have a distillery. Not only that, but if you're hankering for a bite to eat, they also offer a variety of delectable food options now including pizza. In addition, the setting is absolutely beautiful and relaxing, and the staff is extremely friendly. I highly recommend that you stop in for a visit. You'll be happy you did!

I love the concept of Cedar Creek. A brewery, winery, and distillery all in one place?! What more could you ask for! We started with a free wine tasting. After tasting their wines, we got a bottle of their blueberry wine to sip and enjoy. Next, we got a beer from their brewery. Their blood orange beer is my favorite! We sat down in the eatery side and enjoyed our drinks and played a card game. There was live music as well. We got the pretzel charcuterie to split. It was huge and perfect for snacking and sharing! It came with an assortment of meats, cheeses, and nuts! They served it with mustard and beer cheese to dip the pretzel in. Priced at $20, it was a great deal!! We ended at the distillery, where we tasted a spirits flight. Unfortunately, they were not serving their cocktail flight since it was the weekend. At Cedar Creek, there is something for everyone to enjoy!

We absolutely love this place. We had recently purchased a camper and were able to use Harvest Host to make this our first stop on our maiden voyage! The process for checking in was easy and well organized. There are 3 different "sections" with each offering something unique. The brewery, food station and winery are all housed in the same area. They had a wonderful variety of beers (including sours), wines and even a cider/sangria slushy! We ordered a variety of appetizers and ate until we were completely stuffed! After, we strolled back to the camper for a quick rest and then walked over to the distillery area! Their signature cocktails are delicious! The bartender was fantastic and extremely friendly. His stories of working in Indianapolis were both captivating and engaging. Inside the distillery, there is also a little boutique that I visit every time we stop in. Of course I had to buy a couple pairs of jeans! The grounds are absolutely beautiful and at the end of the night (when it was dark and quiet), we were actually able to step outside and catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights! What a special visit!!!

Visiting Cedar Creek has been on my bucket list for years. Today, I got to cross that off my bucket list! My fiancé and I walked around the property and checked out the Brewery and Distillery after the winery. The staff everywhere we went was amazing. Unfortunately we didn't stay long enough to have dinner. The food looked and smelled amazing. The entire property is beautiful! There is already another trip out here in the works.

There is a great comfort food menu and wine. Beer and spirits. Outdoor seating with shade is available and music on weekends during the summer. Free wine tastings and lovey people behind the bar.

Love the new additions to Cedar Creek! The new menu includes pasta, wings, sandwiches, charcuterie, and pizza- plus a kids menu. Everyone enjoyed their food! Live music out on the patio, plus a great new blackberry seltzer.

Incredible grounds and space to enjoy your favorite adult beverage. It was near 90 outside but with a cool breeze and shade from the patio it was very comfortable.

Great beer food and service. Pizzas are awesome and such a wonderful spot for a Saturday afternoon ride.

I tried Cedar Creek Winery's tasting room for the first time during a girls trip to Nashville, IN and fell in love with the Pom-Pourri -- it's the perfect semi-sweet red wine that pairs well with everything! On a later trip back to the Nashville tasting room, I was disappointed to find that a lady that left the store just as we were walking in had bought the last two bottles they had in stock! Getting that wine was the main reason I wanted to make the trip, so I was pretty bummed about returning home empty-handed. One of the salespeople told me I could get the wine at their main location in Martinsville, but I thought to myself, when will I ever go to Martinsville?! So... fast-forward to a few months later, I'm on my way from a trip to Bloomington and notice a road sign for -- you guessed it -- Martinsville! I must have taken that route back and forth to Bloomington dozens of times, but must have been driving on auto-pilot, because I had been passing right through it for years without even realizing. Anyway, after some quick googling to make sure the winery was open, and wondering how many country roads I was going to have to navigate before I got to this place, I finally made it to the source of the wine I'd given up hope on having again anytime soon. The tasting room part of the winery was fairly empty when I arrived late-afternoon, so I opted to stick around for a bit for the $6 wine tasting and check out some new wines. I thought it took the person running the tasting area longer than necessary to acknowledge me and get my tasting order, considering the fact there were only two other couples there at the time. Other than the wait, the rest of the tasting service was great and I walked out about 45 minutes later with several bottles of my beloved Pom-Pourri and a couple of other fruitier wines. I tend to prefer sweeter wines, and Cedar Creek has a nice variety of them. If you get a chance to stop by for a tasting and are looking for a place to start with the sweet wines, I'd recommend the Pom-Pourri, Blue Velvet and Pink Moscato. For something REALLY sweet, try the Harvest Moon ice wine.

Cedar Creek is always a favorite! They have amazing drinks between the winery, brewery and distillery. They now have a full kitchen. Everything was amazing! Loved the bourbon burger and the pork belly grilled cheese

This one, however, rocketed to the top of our list among Hoosier wineries whose products we have tried. Not only was the wine a treat, the experience of the visit was also memorable. The facility was very nice, from the impressive external landscaping to the lovely wine shop/tasting bar to the relaxing garden-patio-themed dining area. We visited with the intention of just doing a tasting but ended up having a light lunch along with that tasting. We were glad that we did as the charcuterie board that we ordered was terrific with olives, naan, hummus, chips, cucumbers and more. It was enough to be shareable. But the highlight was still the wine. We also shared the flight as we did not want to overdo it. We tried the Peach Sangrini, Peach Pie, Lemon Moscato, Raspberry Espresso and Sweet Red Lime. All were good but I'd have to say that the standouts to me were the Lemon Moscato, which was refreshing and tasty, and the Sweet Red Lime which delivered what the name implied with a citrusy, lightly sweet flavor. The prices were not bad as I thought it was a good value for what we received. I would be remiss if I did not also note that the service was top-notch. Our server was efficient, attentive and knowledgeable. The greeter was also pleasant and welcoming. It is likewise noteworthy that we had our 8-month-old granddaughter with us, and it was greatly appreciated that they offered a family-friendly experience that accommodated her as well. Our daughter and son-in-law live in Indy, so this place is just an hour or so away. We'll look forward to the next time we can visit as there are several other varieties of wine that appear to be worth trying.

We love that they walk you through all the ingredients and even give you recipe cards so you can try to make it at home. Somehow it's never quite the same when we make it ourselves, which is exactly why we keep coming back to enjoy it firsthand. We've also done the tour multiple times, and it's always a great experience--very informative and well done. The tastings along the way are a lot of fun and just add to the overall experience. Great drinks, great staff, and always worth the stop.

When people think of whiskey in Indiana's Brown County, they might think of that other place. (You…read moreknow the one.) But there is another distillery quietly making small-batch, high-quality spirits in Nashville, and that's Bear Wallow Distillery. Located just outside of downtown Nashville, Bear Wallow Distillery is one of the only female-owned distilleries in the country. They create their spirits in a traditional copper pot still, which I learned is unique. Inside the tasting room, you can enjoy a whiskey tasting or a flight, or sip a craft cocktail and relax in the shop. I chose to enjoy a "Call Me Old Fashioned" standing up at the bar, while chatting with the guy who made me my drink. My Old Fashioned was well balanced, not too sweet and made me feel all warm inside, as a good Old Fashioned should. Those who are interested in learning more about the whiskey-making craft can go on a Farm-to-Fifth Tour, which takes you behind the scenes to learn about the history of whiskey and see the full production process. I did, and I found it very informative! I had a new appreciation for the kind of whiskey and spirits they are making here at Bear Wallow Distillery. From the ingredients they choose to the barrels they use, they really put their foot in it, as they say. If you like whiskey, or just like to try local spirits, this is a good place to visit in Nashville.

This place is seriously adorable! I was just minding my own business, Googling wineries near me (as…read moreone does), when this gem popped up. Naturally, we made brunch plans. True to form, I almost missed the turn and had to pull off a dramatic last-second brake maneuver, shout out to the empty road behind me. The parking lot may be gravel and line-free, but there's plenty of space for everyone (bonus points for not having to parallel park). Stepping inside, I immediately thought, "Ooh, this is my vibe." It's cozy, inviting, and one of the owners made our drinks, talk about good treatment! At first, it was just a couple of wine drinkers, but then people started rolling in for a vision board event, and suddenly it was a full house of dreamers and brunch lovers. I went for the Fig sandwich (hold the meat) with chips. It was tasty, though there was a mysterious aftertaste; was it the brie? The apples? The suspense continues. I also tried the lavender wine cocktail, which was more "botanical" than "sweet treat." If you're into sugary drinks, maybe skip this one, but my friend's berry wine cocktail was a total winner. All in all, this place is a delight, and I'm already plotting my return to taste test more of the menu (for science, of course).

For food, I ordered the Berries & Cream waffles, which were loaded with fruit. They also have a small area to purchase wine bottles and Rejoicing Vine merch. While finishing up, we asked about what they were setting up and learned it was a vision board event, which Brent said they usually hold once a month. Overall, I really enjoyed my first visit and would love to come back in the summer. There are several picnic tables outside, perfect for enjoying a sunny day.
