They came to our home and photographed everything giving an estimate of between $8-9000. The four movers were friendly and helpful. However, they snapped a leg off my Yamaha piano, broke a 3-1/2 foot tall concrete Buddha and tore a custom dupioni silk lamp shade. The owner charged $13,200 at the end of the move - roughly 40% over the highest estimate. After he and my husband had a heated conversation about the high upcharge, he "gave back" $ 800. They sent us a "resolution contract" offering $360 based on their $.60 per lb. Insurance but only if we agreed to not post any negative reviews about them - in bold underlined words. I refused to sign based on that clause which they would not eliminate. No monies have been issued to us for the broken items. I would never use their services again and do not recommend them to others. Caveat Emptor

THIEF: He has kept my Baldez stationary exercise bicycle, expensive Honda pressure washer and other miscellaneous items. He has admitted, via text message, to having these items and promised to return them. It has been almost a year now and has not returned them and is not responding to my text messages. Taking and keeping what is not yours I believe is stealing. In my opinion Gail is a thief. FRAUD: I paid him close to $900 as part of the contract to insure my 4 cars, one a classic, and all of my personal belongings and furniture. During the move one of my cars had paint damage and other items were broken or damaged. I requested an insurance claim form for the damages. His response was that he failed to pay the insurance premium and now he has no insurance. So, what happened to my $900 insurance payment to him? In my opinion this is fraud. LIAR: He promised to send me an insurance claim form which he has not done so to date and now we know why not. He frequently promises you one thing and fails to fulfill what he has promised. He booked me for that upcoming Saturday. The two guys that showed up got to work immediately. They were very efficient with their time. Took beds apart, wrapped furniture in plastic, cardboard or blankets. Carefully loaded it in the truck. Cleaned up after themselves. Then unpacked it just as carefully and twice as fast as they'd packed it up. They worked non-stop, tirelessly all day, were so polite and accommodating. I was very happy by the days end, all of my furniture was perfectly placed, nothing scratched, a huge job done so professionally and seamlessly. I always enjoy working with a company that is not only technically proficient, but are good businessmen as well; and Travis fits that bill to the T. Called Colby (I presume is the owner) and told him about the situation. He told me he was "at home with his family" and "come back tomorrow if you want me to take the lock off." Told him I had just driven 45 miles with my 3 small children under the age of 6. He told me I was "rude" and to "go rent a space somewhere else." He then hung up on me and refused to answer his phone. I called him the next day to ask for a refund and was told he would send it to me. It has been several weeks, I have called him several times, each time with the same story. I have now just filed a small claims case against him to get my money back.
