Prices were reasonable, and they provide mats for no extra charge which was amazing since I didn't pack one. I would definitely return! You would never imagine that a yoga studio of this New York/LA level would be all the way out here in the desert, but it is! The owners Tobi and Sabrina are THE BEST. Had reached out and left word on a Friday, got a text back from the owner that afternoon that she was taking the day off for personal reasons (attending a funeral), and she offered to set up a window to speak the following day. I also expressed heartfelt condolences and she sent back hearts and emojis in her text saying "let's try for tomorrow 3-6". Called twice during this window leaving voicemail; no response either by text or call. Texted and as of yet still not even an acknowledgement. As it's now been four days since I initially reached out, and lack of any communication 4 days later, assuming that this business at the moment is somewhat unreliable, that the owner is off the grid at the moment, and based on several other reviews here reflecting exact same flakiness, honoring new customers inquiries and biz... is not a priority. Went to see about outside classes during my visit, as I have been there before Covid became present. Disappointed to see a place I liked to visit is open for inside classes during Covid, when the county is in purple tier. All other gyms are closed, not sure why a "wellness" center would be so irresponsible and inconsiderate during a pandemic. I am even more confused as to why so many people would be willing to teach this if they actually believe in yoga. I know several people who are infected and this is really upsetting. I hope they change it fast for the sake of others, and their business. read more

Not only is the space amazing (I want to be here 24 / 7!) the class was awesome. We did cardio barre which was an awesome blend of intense muscle working awesomeness and then calm, yummy yoga with dim lights at the end. Such a fan and so glad me and my 2 friends all came here. This is a beautiful new and much-needed studio in Yucca Valley. They offer a variety of excellent classes including Hatha Yoga in different styles for every level, Pilates, Soundbath meditation, Barre Sculpt, and various workshops. They also offer a beginning yoga class which I believe is the only class like this in the area. I love the Barre Sculpt classes. I also go to Sabrina's Yoga classes. She is an energetic and fun instructor and I always leave her classes feeling great. I also attend Heike's Tri-Yoga classes which are a little different from what I'm used to, but excellent for improving alignment and helping me to work on challenging postures. And the Soundbath meditations led by Tobi and Ryan are always relaxing and healing. The studio always has good energy and I always feel comfortable and welcome there. Try it out. read more

Hi, I don't usually leave reviews, that having been said. Big shout out to Cedar and sage . I am a bit overweight and post cancer I have had lasting pain. There are drugs and surgery options that I am no longer considering due to Cedar and Sage.Keep in mind I am out of shape but do what I can, they are supportive and I feel better than I have in years mentally and physically it feels like a miracle really. Yes it is a pain to "Mask to the mat@ ( wear a mask) but the quarantine was getting me down I really appreciate the chance they have taken with their own health to stay open. This space is AMAZING!!! This is by far the best yoga place in the desert. The ambiance is restorative and the yoga instructors are superb. I love the lighting, it's not too dark and not too bright. They also have yin which is a harder to find practice.The yoga teachers are excellent with pose corrections and are very welcoming to all levels. I highly recommend this studio. I cannot say enough about this studio and Sabrina and Tobi. I went to Joshua Tree a few months ago for my birthday and walked by Cedar & Sage and could literally feel the powerful energy that Sabrina and Tobi have cultivated pull me in. I took one of their morning yoga and sound bath classes which was really fun, playful and focused. What I love most about this studio is the intention behind these two wonderful women. They are fierce and started this business all on their own. I believe they truly want to help people connect to themselves and find inner peace, non-judgment and most importantly happiness. When they found out it was my birthday, they sent me off with incense, Palo Santo, wonderful soap and beautiful messages to think about. I'm so happy that I found such true yogis with wonderful intentions and stories of their own that they infuse into their teaching.
