I stumbled upon this little spot by sunset place. There was street parking available which was lovely. It seemed that it was busy at the time we got there but we got seated right away. We didn't really wait long to get our food once we placed our order. The service was great and super fast. The pistachio latte was amazing, you can really get the pistachio essence with every sip. The breakfast sandwich was delicious, the croissant tasted fresh and the bacon was crispy. I really enjoyed everything. My friend had the burger and she really liked it. I will definitely be coming back again, next time to try the French toast!

Perhaps a brunch/lunch staple in South Miami, Cecile Bakery + Cafe always provides well-made food and friendly service. On this given day, I got the breakfast sandwich with potatoes. The sandwich was good! It got the job done, but to me the real star of the show were the potatoes, which are always so fluffy and warm. A good spot to check out for some French bites!

Love this place!! My friend and I got here around 8:30 a.m. right before the restaurant got packed!! My friend ordered a cappuccino and the garden omelette with the Cecile potatoes, and I ordered the cortado with sugar and the eggs Benedict with bacon instead of ham and the Cecile potaotes. The Cecile potatoes are tiny puffs of fried mashed potatoes which are sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. They are delicious, as is everything here! I was here last week and I ordered the exact same thing, except that I requested the eggs poached hard last time. The eggs Benedict is so good that I can't bring myself to order anything else! Our server was friendly and efficient. We were happy with her service. They have street parking for $3.50 per hour or $6.50 for two hours.

This is a really cute cafe in South Miami that serves French/American brunch foods made with high-quality ingredients and lots of flavor. The menu has a great mix of options for a variety of tastes, and I highly recommend the French Toast for something sweet and Croque Monsieur for something savory - they're both pretty large portions and can definitely be shared with a side! While this is a great spot and I've been back a couple times since first discovering it, I have to knock off one star for the check-in service and drinks: every time I come here, there's either no one at the hostess stand or the girl there has a bad attitude, and the drinks are ridiculously expensive (like almost $5 for drip coffee expensive) and honestly not worth the price. Besides those two knocks, this really is a lovely spot to enjoy a nice meal with friends and family without having to dress up fancy or break the bank. Street parking is plentiful and very cheap, so stop by Cecile's for your next brunch!

Went out to eat here with a friend and my little baby. Great experience! The food was delicious and the service was great. Everyone was so nice! The inside was also super nice and they had a good outdoor seating area as well. Would love to come back!

Cecile bakery and cafe is really an excellent breakfast or lunch choice! The food feels really genuinely French; light, fresh, healthy and packed with flavor! I got out of here for $26 with a coffee and breakfast which feels very reasonable for Miami. Don't skip the quiche Lorraine! The service is really excellent here, and the tables stay packed but move quickly so we never have much of a wait time. Definitely a must-try if you are in the area! I have to come back to try some items from the pastry case because WOW!

egg benedict's overcooked, food was not served hot. Hope the rest of the menu is better. I know it was busy and I was seating in outside in the last table but I had to beg to be served so really pour attention too. I wouldn't go back. I just didn't even eat, instead I walked to Maman one block away.

Always love coming to Cecile. It has the perfect brunch vibe and high-quality food + drinks. I love their breakfast sandwich that comes on a croissant. The dessert items are amazing too since they have a bakery and make patisserie items in house. You can tell the food and drinks are made with love

I went to the South Florida Porsche which this year was held on Sunrise Drive right in front of Cecile Bakery + Café. So, as I could see most of the Porsche show from there, I sat down at a table in their outdoor sidewalk patio. Though it was crowded, I got rather quick and polite service. For my meal, I had their Huevos Iberico which consisted of Fried eggs, chorizo, "Brava" sauce, serrano ham, matchstick fries, Manchego cheese, and sourdough toast. The chorizo was of some of the best in flavors I've ever had. Unfortunately, it was of a very skimpy amount. My partner had their Eggs Benedict Croissant which were poached eggs served with smoked ham, Hollandaise sauce, and a homemade flaky croissant sided with house salad. Overall, I was rather pleased with the food and attentive service.

Great spot for breakfast/brunch! Service is excellent and food is always superb. Sad that they took the Asian short rib off the menu, but everything else was amazing. Inside is cute if it's hot outside, but if it's pleasant sitting outside is just fine. Coffee and a pastry is a MUST!

Awesome place for a fine breakfast. Nice menu and service. Try the croque madame. The coffee station has every single coffee style.

Good products but poor service. They messed up our order and response was indifferent bordering on rude.

Indifferent and unapologetic service after they gave my order to someone else, the staff and the owner were totally indifferent.

When I asked if it could be fixed, the employee said she would call the manager and get back to me. About an hour later, I received a call saying the manager had decided they could not fix the cake. I was told I could either take it as is or leave it and receive only a 50% refund. There was no apology--just a very matter-of-fact "take it or leave it" response. I asked to speak to the manager and was told she was not available. I then called the Wynwood location multiple times before someone finally answered. I asked to speak to a manager and was told she was busy but would call me back. She never did. When I called again, I was told the Wynwood and Sunset locations were separate, but that the manager would reach out to the Sunset manager and have her call me. Again, no one followed up. On Sunday, I called again and was told the kitchen was closed and that my only options were still to pick up the cake or leave it and receive 50% back--even though the cake was never corrected. The manager refused to speak with me directly. I ultimately picked up the cake, and not only was the color still wrong, but the cake itself was terrible in flavor. It was honestly one of the worst cakes I've ever had. The biggest disappointment, however, was the consistently poor customer service--from both the managers and the staff. As a small business, they need to do better. All that was needed was a sincere apology and a reasonable solution, such as a small discount for the inconvenience since their kitchen was closed. Instead, the entire experience was mishandled from start to finish. I don't mind paying premium prices when the product and service are worth it, but this experience failed on every level. I will not be ordering from them again or recommending them to anyone

If you choose cupcake, cakes, slices or cookies you will not be disappointed. Her assortment of flavors is always delicious and amazing. We usually get mini cupcakes, but we needed a medium cake for my father-in-law's 95th birthday. This is a cake that serves over 40 people. It was delicious but for $180 I wish the writing would've been better. My 11-year-old son's handwriting is much better than this. I knew it wouldn't be that fancy. They've never been great about decorating cakes, but I really wish they could find people with good handwriting. Or at least offer some kind of plastic cake options that say happy birthday. And maybe a stencil to write the person's name in.? This is probably the six or seventh cake I've ever ordered from them and the handwriting always looks subpar. Luckily, the taste is always amazing. Pro Tip #1 if you can, try to order cake toppers, or other decorations as they don't do too much decoration wise. Pro Tip #2 always try to keep the main frosting white. Colored frosting never tastes as good as just plain white and her white frosting is amazing.

I stood there for more than five minutes without so much as a simple acknowledgment, eye contact, or a quick "I'll be right with you." Eventually, I left without buying anything. I understand that taking customer orders is part of the job, but in-person customers should not feel invisible. A brief acknowledgment takes only a few seconds and lets people know they have been seen and will be helped as soon as possible. This seems like a training and customer service issue. Businesses should ensure employees know how to balance phone orders with customers who are physically in the store. Missed interactions like this can easily become missed sales. Don't be sorry. Do better.
