When I called again, I was told the Wynwood and Sunset locations were separate, but that the manager would reach out to the Sunset manager and have her call me. Again, no one followed up. On Sunday, I called again and was told the kitchen was closed and that my only options were still to pick up the cake or leave it and receive 50% back--even though the cake was never corrected. The manager refused to speak with me directly. I ultimately picked up the cake, and not only was the color still wrong, but the cake itself was terrible in flavor. It was honestly one of the worst cakes I've ever had. The biggest disappointment, however, was the consistently poor customer service--from both the managers and the staff. As a small business, they need to do better. All that was needed was a sincere apology and a reasonable solution, such as a small discount for the inconvenience since their kitchen was closed. Instead, the entire experience was mishandled from start to finish. I don't mind paying premium prices when the product and service are worth it, but this experience failed on every level.
