I ordered flowers to send to my mom who was in the hospital. On the day they were set to be delivered, my mom unexpectedly got released. I called in a panic. The kind lady who answered the phone told me they'd not yet been delivered and was able to easily change the delivery address to my mom's house in Plano. Pains me to give two stars after loving the old location for years... bought more roses than I care to admit!! Always fresh and usually a pretty good deal-- 2 doz for $45. Today I went in and was told they were $55 because of Mother's Day. Ok no big deal I get that... so I said no problem maybe you can add a little greenery. CHARGED ME $92!! I said whaaat... she said $65 for roses and $20 for some leafy green. But you said $55 for Mothers Day instead of $45... she says $55 for one dozen $65 for two plus $20 for greenery that they usually just throw in... when I brought all this to their attention... it was like oops misunderstood you.!! I have had two poor experiences with this business. The most recent flower arrangement started to go limp and lifeless on day two following the delivery. By day four I had removed enough of the arrangement that it had 50% less flowers than when it was delivered. By day five all that was left was the green filler. The water was changed each day and the temperature in the house is 73 degrees. A message left with the business to speak with the owner was not returned. I did not need the flowers replaced not did I want the person's credit card who sent the flowers to be credited. A simple acknowledgment of the event would suffice. In the future I will refuse acceptance of any flowers from this business. This is based on my experiences. read more

They listened attentively, and then had the designer come downstairs and talk to me. I picked them up yesterday. I really really wanted to like Cebolla fine flowers. I hired them to create bouquets, boutineers, and a floral hairpiece for my wedding, and I really wish I had gone with another florist. The trouble with Cebolla started very soon after I met with them. I really enjoyed meeting Mark seeing his studio, and he assured me that he would be able to work with 4 weeks notice for my wedding. But after I left I couldn't get ahold of him for a week. I emailed twice with no response, and eventually had to actually call the store number and have the employee literally go find him. Insultingly, Mark explained his lack of communication was due to a larger order that was placed recently. In addition, he hadn't read the email I sent with details for my flowers (he was the one who asked me to send him that email). It made me feel quite neglected. Nonetheless I decided to hire Cebolla flowers because I didn't have the days off to go to Dallas again and meet with more florists, and Mark seemed genuinely contrite. However over the next few weeks, I could not get ahold of Mark unless I called the store and waited for an employee to find him. I had to do this to pay my deposit and the final number. But the week before my wedding, even that didn't work and I had to just hope that he hadn't bailed on flowers because I already paid him. The week of the wedding, I was hopeful that the bouquets would be stunning. I paid over 200 dollars for the bridal bouquet, 85 for each bridesmaid, and 90 for the hair piece. This was considerably more than the other quotes I received but my initial meeting with Mark had made me hopeful he was going to make the arrangements worth the price. The bridesmaid bouquets were nice, although not really what we had discussed. The bridal bouquet really upset me. The bridal bouquet only had 1 more orchid, and a few more bundled flowers than the bridesmaids bouquets. It was certainly not worth over double the cost. In addition, the color of the bouquet clashed so badly with my wedding dress (I sent him numerous pictures of the dress in my emails with him) that the photographer actually told me she didn't want to use it in my bridal shoot. The hair piece was supposed to be a strand of small, elegant flowers that circled my bun (pictures of what I wanted were sent). The flowers he gave me were too big to make sense in my hair, and the near 100 dollar arrangement was re-purposed for a flower girl crown. Bouquets don't really make or break a wedding. But I was looking forward to a beautiful arrangement I could hold, and that just did not happen. I won't use Cebolla flowers again. read more

We went with Cebolla for our wedding arrangements and Morgan was a gem. I loved our arrangements and she was expedient with her e-mail communication (communication was very important to me when planning the wedding). I liked their work so much (very rustic and earthy) that I went back to get one of their succulents in a birch box for my office. I like the vibe of this place. I think they could use some better advertising and maybe slightly different floor space plans but their work and product arrangements alone set them apart from the pack. Hands down, I think Cebolla does the most beautiful floral work in Dallas! Their arrangements are creative and fresh and always exquisitely beautiful. They also have great customer service, with very nice, knowledgeable salespeople working in their shop. I've encountered the same couple of salespeople there for many years so Cebolla must also treat its employees well. When I have a dinner party or luncheon, I usually take my containers to them (though all of my containers, I think, at some point or another originated with Cebolla). I give very little direction to the designers apart from color scheme as I want them to use whatever will result in the prettiest arrangement. I have never been disappointed; in fact, it is always a treat to see the flowers when they arrive! I give a Valentine luncheon every year, and I am always certain that the flowers can't possibly be as pretty as they were last year. Each year Cebolla outdoes themselves. Highly recommend! read more

Best florist in Dallas. I have been using them for years and I am never disappointed.

I usually go with Dr. Delphinium but for some reason I wanted to give Cebolla a chance. I ordered the flowers online on 7/18/2016 in the "special instruction" box I wrote in all caps NO ROSES SHE IS ALLERGIC. Well guess what was delivered on my best friends birthday....a flower arrangement with roses. Not only did she have an allergic reaction it messed her whole day up as she was then drowsy by the benedryl that she had to take. So giving Cebolla a chance to rectify the problem I called the shop and spoke to REBECCA....she was nice and apologetic but didn't really provide a solution. I had to ask her to make and new arrangement and have it delivered right away. She told me it will be done and the arrangement will be there by 6:30pm. Well needless to say dinner was at 7pm so we left...I received a call from the driver at 7:30pm an hour later stating that he was outside the house and no one was home and it was too hot to leave the flowers. So now it is Thursday 7/21/2016 and I call REBECCA at 10am seeing how no one called me (which again is horrible customer service). I called and spoke to REBECCA and she stated that there is nothing she can do about traffic....I said ok again and asked what time will the flowers be there today....she them proceeds to tell me she cannot provide a time as she needs to ensure thursday's deliveries are on time....WHAT THE HECK...this is when I lost it...U MESSED UP MY ORDER COMPLETELY AND NOW I DELIVERING THE FLOWERS I PAID FOR IS NOT A PRIORITY.....I them just requested a refund and believe me I will NEVER USE THEM EVER AGAIN....REBECCA SHOULD NOT BE A MANGER!!!! I'm posting this here because WeddingWire will not allow me to to because I never actually did business with this florist due to the terrible customer service, and I think people especially brides need to know what sort of service this place doesn't offer. I was looking for a wedding florist who would give me something unique and not the traditional wedding flowers. I was really excited for my consult with Cebolla, but was extremely disappointed when I was stood up. I had confirmed my appointment for a Saturday morning consult on Wednesday. I drove into Dallas from Plano and was extremely surprised when they were not expecting me. I walked into the shop and was greeted by a woman and she asked how she could help me. I told her I had an appointment with Virginia. I could see on her face that something was wrong. She told me Virginia was not in today. I politely responded that I had set up an appointment with her and had talked to a few days prior to confirm. The lady told me she would quickly message her. I could see she was in a panic. She frantically looking through their books and told me that I was not on the schedule at all, and that in fact she had spoken with Virginia the day before and was told that Virginia would not be in today as she did not have any appointments. I pulled up my email to confirm that I did in fact have the right day and time. This lady clearly had no idea how to help me. She asked that I come in another day after work. I told her I work in Allen and there's no way I could make it before they close at 6, and after being stood up I have no desire to book them for my wedding. I left very upset and irritated. Not 15 minutes later I received a call/voicemail and email from Virginia herself apologizing. Except she didn't apologize for forgetting. She made up an excuse! She told me she was having car trouble and had no way to get a hold of anyone. I can appreciate that she may have had some car trouble, but I can't believe that she didn't have a cell phone to call the shop and let them know. AND the fact that she told her colleague that she would not be in on Saturday because she had no appointments. If you're going to lie make it a good one. Very unprofessional. I spent nearly $100 on a succulent arrangement for my dear, sweet boss on boss' day. I went the extra mile by using Cebolla because I knew she'd think it was extra great if it was from Cebolla. Well... the arrangement is kind of the joke of the office now.. it has BUGS in it! They're everywhere and have been since DAY ONE. My boss (who literally puts in 80 hours a week) finally found 2 minutes today to call Cebolla hoping they'd be willing to replace the plant or deliver something to fix it. NOPE! Not willing to help. this guy doan is a scammer and used my credit information without consent. i came in and paid for an arrangement to be dropped off. it never showed and i had to return to the shop to be told i had not paid at all and turns out they had billed me. then after i left to call my bank i was told i was charged almost double. i returned to explain i had proof they had over charged me and the flowers were paid for and then i was told it was a delivery fee. but he claimed i never was charged at all. anything important i would suggest finding a better place thats safer to trust. im just glad it wasn't for a wedding are anything else. won't ever get my business back read more

My son was getting married in Dallas. We just moved to Corpus Christi a few weeks from Calgary Canada. Between the move and everything involved in relocating to the US, I was running out of time to get the flowers for the rehearsal dinner ordered. I used Cebolla as they were doing the wedding and reception and my soon to be daughter in law loved them. Her contact was Virginia. I ordered zinnias as the dinner was at a Mexican restaurant. It was one week before go time! Virginia said the flowers would be at the Lovers Lane location by Friday morning. I had purchased the containers in Calgary months ago and several of my friends were going to meet me at the restaurant and we were going to put the arrangements together. I got a phone call Thursday afternoon as we were driving into Dallas and Virginia told me at least half of the zinnias were very wilted and could not be used. I made arrangements to meet her at the store at 9 am. Virginia and the designer helped me pick out green hydrangeas and gerbera daisies to replace the poor little zinnias. Well, they got the containers out of the car and made all of the arrangements for me!!!!! I was there about 2 hours and saw many customers come and go with vases to fill and arrangements already ordered. Beautiful beautiful flowers. Friends and family took them back to the hotel for their rooms! And I can't thank Virginia and the designer enough!!!! They made my life so much easier! And they only charged me what I was paying for just the zinnias! The flowers at the wedding were incredibly beautiful. Virginia and her team came to the church and moved the flowers to the reception. The table arrangements were also very beautiful. It is Friday after the wedding and I have just let the flowers I got from the wedding go, except for 2 white roses that will be out for a few more days! Thanks to Virginia!!!!!! read more
