I am so glad I hired these folks to do electrical work in my home. Eddie was great! He was knowledgeable, professional and accommodating. At the last minute I asked him to fix another thing and he was wonderful about it, even though he had been about to leave. Previously, I had another electrician out here that was referred by our realtor who said we needed two surge protectors and a bunch of other things, and he was charging $1,700. The trouble is that we already had surge protectors, and they were labelled, but we didn't know what to look for. Eddie was honest and pointed it out, showing me where the surge protectors were. It was shocking that another electrician would try to rip us off that way. My bill for Eddie's work was only $460, and that included him making a run to the store to get a broken part for me. He got everything done and then some. I can tell he knows his stuff. This is a good company to deal with. If you need electric work done, you can't go wrong with them! read more

Scheduled an appointment and made clear my problems beforehand, the man they sent spent the first 15 to 20 minutes on the phone outside asking someone at the office basic questions about my issue because he didn't seem to know anything about how to fix it ( I had already told them it was a problem with LEDs) The other half of the time for the other problem he spent switching the light switches on an off for 10 to 15 min, in the end he didn't fix anything and told me he didn't bring any of the equipment for the switches and it cost me 92$ for literally nothing. In summary I feel the man did not want to try to fix anything because it would have taken some effort and was not knowledgeable or capable of his trade . read more

Amazing service. I hate fluorescent lights in my office because they give me headaches. I spoke with Daniel and he suggested a simple replace with warm led bulbs that would fit right into the fluorescent input. I said great. One week later they were installed with Daniel personally coming to assure all was well. I also spoke with Chris who was genuinely nice and informative. I had a two story chandelier installed today that required a lift. I ordered some bulbs on line and a half hour before found out they a commercial base on them so I ran back to Lowe's and bought 2 new boxes of bulbs only to find out during the install one of the boxes had the wrong collar size! The owner was so nice to call and have another box picked up and brought to the job. This was so appreciated especially after how frustrated I already was. They didn't even ask if I could do it and they're next job was delayed bc of me. In addition they were neat and very professional using much concern with my hard floors and the weight of the lift. Jeff came out and did 2 flood lights and a doorbell. The work was incredibly good. There is barely any scratches on my wall. He talked to my husband about my son possibly touching the transformer and he came up with the alternative of putting the box outside. I called these guys to replace an electrical panel in Bithlo. They advertise that they do all of central florida, including Orange County. When I asked, they said "Sorry, we dont go to Bithlo". The guy was rude. Bithlo is a huge area in the east Orlando Metro, with thousands of residentials. I dont think I would recommend this outfit to anyone. read more

The electrician was courteous and on time. He diagnosed the problem within 5 minutes and showed me what the problem was with the breaker. He replaced only the problem breakers and did not try to tell me the whole panel needed replacing and therefore over charging me. The price was reasonable. Let me first say that being a New Yorker new to Florida I have a certain way of looking at things. I am accustomed to being overcharged by workers who are perpetually late. In searching for an electrician down here I figured I'd start here on YELP and hope the reviews were honest and accurate. All I can say is you YELP reviewers have hit it out of the park with CDW! Let's start with Chris. I called the company, left a message, and figured I'd never hear back which is what I've been trained to expect in NY. But within 48 hours, Chris got back to me, we set up an appointment, and within three days of that appointment I received two text reminders and one email. Now let's get to Hector. When he arrived 15 minutes EARLY I was confused. This JUST DOESN'T HAPPEN! We had about 12 light fixtures to install so who knew how long it would take. Hector got right to work and only took a break to take a sip of the cold water I gave him. This guy is a not just an electrician. He's a designer and quick thinker. A piece on one of the fixtures was defective, so he got something from his truck and made it work. Bottom line is if you live in the Orlando area and its outskirts, please don't waste your time vetting other electricians. I have been around a long time and I have never seen such professionalism, dedication, and top notch service. I just had the pleasure of working with CDW to have a Nema 14-50 Outlet installed in time for me to receive my new Tesla! I e-mailed them for a quote and Jackie got back to me right away with the pricing for the outlet of for the HPWC if I wanted that. They let me send them pictures to confirm the price before having anyone come out, and I was able to get an electrician out the following week. There were multiple texts/e-mails confirming my appointment, and a text the morning of letting me know when the electrician would arrive. It was extremely nice to have this contact instead of not knowing if I would be waiting 10 minutes or 3 hours like other companies. The electrician, Eddie, arrived 15 minutes early, and within an hour had completed the install. I thought it would be a recessed outlet, but they installed an external box housing the outlet with conduit so no damage to the drywall. was necessary. I was thrilled with this outcome as the box is much sturdier than a recessed outlet and has a cover which will protect the outlet and people near it. Have been charging the new car the past few days and am getting the full 30 Miles per hour at 38 Amps, so the outlet works perfect. Highly recommend! read more

They also were able to problem solve and figure out a cheaper and more efficient way to perform the job on hand. They answered the phone and returned phone calls outside of the normal 9-5. After having to wait for 2 months just to make an appointment from another company to re-repair work that they didn't do properly the first time but was supposedly guaranteed for 3 months (an electric company I have used for at least 18 years), I had to find another company to do the work.
